At Last, after 58 years on this planet I have just given my first 10/10 for a pizza! I know shock. Ok it’s a wet Tuesday in October, it’s our 31st wedding Anniversary and I see this pizza place in the corner of my eye as we drive through braunton on our way to our holiday cottage in croyde. Give it a go I thought. Arrived at 5 when they opened. We were the only ones in..hmmmm I thought, but a fabulous welcome from a very lovely guy who makes us feel very welcome. Buys us an Anniversary drink (nice touch and thank you) I couldn’t decide what to go for. So I made up my own pizza. One half pesto based with fresh basil and the other half traditional margherita with mushrooms and olives. My hubby went for margherita with olives. Both asked for it to be well done as we like a crispy base. It arrived and the first mouthful was heaven. Cooked to perfection. Bit of crunch, bit fluffed up edges, so a little extra crunch there. Fresh as fresh and gorgeous ton]nato sauce with a gooey right amount of cheese. Topped with fresh basil. I thought the two halves would ‘bleed’ into each other, but hats off to the chef, he pulled it off. Then the pesto was fresh and zingy and I couldn’t work out which half I preferred. Both equally delicious. So a 10 out of 10 was given to the amazing chef who produced this miraculous pizza. This is just a pizza I hear you cry….NO, this was the food of gods! Simple food, cooked to perfection. Go there. EAT. Die happy! At last a proper pizza to write about. Great guys and a joyful atmosphere, more people rocked up as we dined. Asked about opening as it starts at 5pm, but looks like will change later in the year. So take the kids after school. Great alcohol free beer and coke. With the free anniversary drink and tip it came to £30. Best £30 I’ve ever spent in a restaurant. Thank you for making our Anniversry one to remember! 😄

Pizzas were really delicious & flavoursome. My husband had the Napoli which had a perfect amount of heat & I had the Flying Pig & substituted ham for pepperoni (which wasn’t a problem at all) which was perfect. The roasted tomatoes really added to the depth of flavour - possibly the best pizza I’ve ever had!!!!

Fantastic pizzas. We chose the build your own options. Gluten fee and vegan options available. Lovely bottle of wine (rose). Really helpful and friendly staff. Had to take some pizza home as we were full!

Having spent the day of our wedding anniversary visiting the North Devon coastline, we stumbled upon this gem in Braunton. It was early evening and we were the only family eating in, but it was clear to see the take away side of the business was doing a roaring trade. A family of four, we had two pepperoni pizzas, a Flying Pig and and Napoli Salami and all were thoroughly enjoyed. It says on the receipt that George looked after us, so all I can say is what a friendly and welcoming chap he is. Thanks for all the recommendations for beaches to visit. All in all a very lovely visit, but those wobbly tables need looking at!

Great for couples, families or if you're own your own or ordering a takeaway! Food - the pizzas were on point (hot on arrival, good size and tasty with spaced out toppings and plenty of topping in every mouthful!) Kudos to the chef! The service was very good, George was attentive, provided quick service, overall just great when I had questions about getting my hands on the amazing local gin (wicked wolf gin, if you're wondering!), he was lovely and helpful! Thanks George! Highly recommend the place! Just check opening timings before you head down!

We booked a table last minute having driven past Meraki Pizza a few times whilst on our camping holiday. The pizzas were authentic, loads of great options for toppings, and tasted so amazing, we’re still talking about them! We definitely recommend the cheesy garlic bread too! Good selection of drinks as well. The staff were lovely (and gave some recommendations for things to do/other places to try in the area (thank you, chef :)). A great place for a great pizza after a day on the beach

A lovely relaxed place to eat. We were going to the theatre and they made sure our food was presented in plenty of time. The food was authentic, tasty and plentiful and served with a sense of humour. We will go back when the opportunity arises.

The restaurant is centrally located. It is expensive (London prices). The service was excellent and a nice friendly waiter. We were the only ones in the restaurant so quick service. The meals were served piping hot. Wine was not chilled enough. It is a bit like a canteen as paper serviettes and old cutlery.
