We have eaten here on several occasions, from four of us to a group of over eighteen, always good service and nicely cooked and presented food, highly recommended by us.

Just spent 4 nights at the Imperial, using the restaurant for evenings and morning breakfasts. From the moment you enter to the time you leave its a treat. Staff are great, food is out of this world and the silver service is something lost in other hotels.now. Well done to all the staff that made our visit such a joy.

A nice lounge if a little outdated. Not too much atmosphere but I think that is what the management want. A long walk to the bar but you can get waiter service. The staff are the highlight.

Lovely to relax and enjoy afternoon tea. It has been freshly decorated and modernised with comfy arm chairs and sofas. When the weather is bad I cannot think of a better place to relax and enjoy a drink and lunch

Probably the most relaxing lounge ever. Refurbished recently, the Terrace Lounge is a tranquil idle with sumptuous furnishings and wonderful food. The afternoon tea offering compares very favourably with the likes of the best in the UK with loose leaf tea's, lovely scones and if you want to go mad, Champagne too. Well worth the experience of the Great British Afternoon Tea.

Joined some friends and colleagues for lunch and what a find The Imperial is. The lounge is bright, comfortable and welcoming. The Lounge Menu and food is out of this world, the sandwiches, bruschetta and salad boards are superb. Good choice of drinks too with good local beers (Doombar and Exmoor Gold) and Devon Cider too. The service is friendly and efficient with smartly dressed staff and management overseeing proceedings. Can't wait to give the Restaurant a try next if the Lounge Food is anything to go by.

Called in for tea & cakes. Lovely clean & fresh interior. However, the cakes looked as though they had just been taken out of a wraper, the hot chocolate was the weakest you can imagine & the earl grey tea turned out to be something else! It then took 2 people ages to sort out the bill. What a shame as we were thinking of going there for the weekend but now have second thoughts.

Stumbled across the cafe when we arrived in Ilfracombe and needed coffee. Quaint and characterful and clearly has it's regular customers. Coffee was good and hot but the homemade Eccles cake was amazing! The other treats looked good too. Coming across The Naked Cake cafe was the best thing about Ilfracombe which was otherwise, tatty and very down at heel.

Great little takeaway, value for money and polite staff. We eat from there regularly and have never had a problem 👌

Lovely modern roomy lodges in a beautiful location. Breakfast choice was great, cooked breakfast very good & piping hot👍 Pub food also excellent, quick service, good choices. Most staff helpful & friendly. One member of staff who greeted us on arrival wasn't welcoming. Only a couple of minor things- rusty toilet roll holder which spoilt the rest of the very new bathroom & the shelf above sink is in the way. Suggestion - small fridge, there is room. Mirror near plug sockets. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A truly lovely cafe catering for both vegetarians and vegans, as well as carnists. The man working behind the counter was delightful, friendly and helpful.

Four of us popped in today and we were glad we did ! Looking through the window showed it was full but a table of four had just got up so we sat in their seats :) We all had the Breakfast at £11 each. Couldn’t fault the meal at all, plenty on the plate and locally sourced. Really good selection of coffee, tea and fresh orange 🍊 juice. Highly recommended Get a seat and order at the counter. Very pleasant polite service as well. Seating outside. Well done 👏👏
