Nana Jude's Ice Creams in North Devon

Made my daughter’s day. Fun vibrant ice cream parlour. Very busy, but it didn’t take long to see why. We always struggle with feeding our daughter who has a peanut and dairy allergy, an Ice cream shop is usually a no go for us. This time it was a huge thumbs up. Allergy information provided Dairy free in a separate freezer with separate ice cream scoops When I explain lex about my daughter the two lovely ladies got out a brand new tub of dairy free ice cream in the flavour she requested (lots to choose from) and even went and got a brand new scoop to put my mind at ease that there was no chance of any cross contamination 10 out of 10 for the service offerered to an anxious allergy mum and my daughter! Your shop was the highlight of our day Thank you ladies

We visited last week - family of 6 with our four children (10, 8, 6 and 2) it was a lovely sunny day so the seating was welcomed situated in a lovely sunny spot before (or after like us) taking a trip on the cliff railway. The ice creams were really reasonably priced and the flavour selection was fantastic. My husband had the cappuccino crunch and said it was the best ice cream he’s ever had - we live in a tourist destination so have tried our fair share of ice creams so this was high praise from him! There was a great selection of other sweet treats available too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Lynton or Lynmouth!

Best ice cream we have had in a very very long time! My husband and I stopped off for a quick ice cream and we were so impressed. The staff were so helpful and enthusiastic and seemed so happy to be there. My husband had rum and raisin and I had lemon sorbet and both of us said it is probably the best ice cream we have had in a long long time. Absolutely recommend!!!

Following a lovely lunch at Number Ten across the road there is nowhere better to go than to this delightful ice cream parlour. The main problem is what to have. So much choice. It’s not possible to list all the flavours and we certainly didn’t try them all but my favourite of salted caramel in a chocolate waffle cone is up there in the top ten!! Lovely people there too.

We were just about to sit down to get our bearings and decide if we wanted ice cream and this rude woman came up to us and said if you’re not having ice cream you can sit down here. Nobody else sitting at the chairs. We we walked away and have decided we are not going to have ice cream there when we visit again which we do quite often, shame as it’s right by the railway entrance.

Most amazing selection of ice creams and an even better taste , most beautiful staff that couldn’t of been more helpful, kind and thoughtful… would recommend a trip to Devon just to experience this ice cream

Absolutely love this place, especially the milkshakes, we try and make it our weekly treat. Huge variety of ice creams, lovely staff 😍

Vile woman shouted at my 2 year old for not having her order straight away. Our whole group was ordering and everyone in the shop was friends so happy to wait. When my 2 year old asked about flavours (they didn't have the one she wanted) she yelled at her to have her order ready or she wouldn't take it. It was awful. She didn't stop there and kept going until I left in tears. All the other kids had got their ice creams and she didn't get one. Some of my friends questioned why she was so aggressive and she said she didn't care if my little one was 2 or 40 she needed her order ready. This woman should not be allowed to work with serving children. Do not go here if you are a family or like friendly people. The man in the shop kept his head down, could be her partner but he didn't stand up for her but also looked very embarrassed. Just avoid this place and this woman at all costs.

Very friendly staff and yummy ice cream! There is a large variety of flavours and the waffle cones are great. This place is also good if you are vegan, I had the mango sorbet which was very nice.

My family of 7 took a trip to Lynton and Lynemouth this weekend and whilst en route to the Cliff Railway stopped at Nana Jude’s for ice cream The shop is situated on the approach to the Cliff Railway and has a few small tables and chairs situated outside The Ice Creams were fantastic and tasted amazing! Highly recommended

There may be other ice-cream places with a similar offering, but there was something magical to Nanna Jude's. Apart from the wide selection of flavours, there was the atmosfeer of everything for everyone. We just had to come back for milkshakes and when it isn't busy, the lovely lady making our shakes had a happy and pleasant energy around her. The look and feel just looked and felt perfect.
