Unbelievable lack of service. When I wanted to purchase two pasties there was a group of friends or family in front of me of the serving window blocking the way to the counter. I waited a minute or so, then one person said customer coming through, which I did. However, the chap behind the counter looked at me and continued his conversation without hesitation completely ignoring me. I waited to see if he would stop, then walked away, I’d never return nor recommend this place as this chap was so arrogant in his approach. How easy it is to lose business. There is no excuse for his behaviour. So sad.

For a wide range of delicious pasties in N Devon this has to be one of the best, we walked past on the way to the harbour and looked in to see a large selection of pasties. When we came back after a short walk around and stop for soime fudge we returned. My choice of pasty was sold out but a very friendly helpful lady told us that they were about 10 minures to go until a fresh batch would come out of the oven. The wait was well worth it. I went for the Devon Big un. The crisp, well formed pastry was packed full and cooked to perfection. My wife had a traditional Cornish pasty and reported that it was also amazing. We visit Devon and Cornwall quite regularly and these pasties are up there with the best.

If you're in Ilfracombe and want a pasty then don't go anywhere else other than the Bakehouse. They have a wide range of fillings, from the traditional to the more experimental, the service is friendly and any queue moves along quickly.

My god this place is amazing we went one cold and wet day and decided on a little lunch time treat, my kids had a sausage roll and i had a traditional cornish pasty. My god the flavouring was amazing and I have had a few Cornish Pasty's but if you are in Ilfracombe you need to give this place a try!!!

On our first ever visit to Lynton we were struck with how beautiful the outside of this place is, it is certainly decorated beautifully and drew us to go inside. The lady behind the counter was reall
