The best restaurants in Lawrence Mid Devon South West

Really enjoyed our lunch @ Mel’s Diner yesterday, including my wife whose liver & bacon meal was well up to expectations. My pancakes for afters were also lovely to eat & it was great to drink tea out of a mug . Saturday was very popular with lots of people which was a good sign amongst the locals . We will return , (As General McArthur once said) .

I am addicted to Coco's brownies! The staff are always so friendly whenever I pop in. Also thank you for listing that you are wheelchair accessible. It's so helpful to not have to hunt for accessibility info. And as a wheelchair user I can confirm Coco's definitely is.

We just stopped by for lunch and ordered x2 coronation chicken panini, and x1 tomato, pesto and mozzarella panini. These sandwiches hit the spot! So delicious and quick service. Have hearted on google maps in case we are in the area again and need food!

The most friendliest place for the best food in Crediton. Incredible food and great service - feels like a real home from home where you can properly relax. The staff are so lovely, especially the owner who goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Even with kids - theres a lovely play area with lots of cute toys and books with sofas for parents to chill out and have a drink while kids play - perfect. They also do the best tumeric lattes!

Visited for a meal with family. All three of us were exceptionally pleased with our meals, and the whole experience. Very good food, good service and very good value (unlike certain pubs I could mention).

This restaurant doesn't look much from the outside, but inside is spotlessly clean and tidy. A wide ranging menu including a good choice of vegetarian dishes. The chicken passanda was excellent, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. We visited at lunchtime and it was very quiet, which suited us perfectly. Will definitely eat here again.

Lovely staff greeted us on our way in - excellent with our young boys. Food was quick and tasty, reasonably priced. We’ll certainly be back!

Great coffee and cakes. Really enjoyed the coffee, tasted so much better than the high street chains , good cakes too. Worth the queue, it was very popular but it was farmers market day .

We hired Exe Valley Pizza Co. for our evening wedding reception. We had wonderful feedback from our guests and everything went smoothly. Communication with Rachel was excellent throughout. Delicious pizzas and nice selection. Very accomodating for vegans and gluten free. Highly receommend for vegans. Thank you so much for serving us!

Having used many establishments in the area for breakfast over the years I can honestly say that The Kitchen at 25 serves the best breakfast in the area. All the ingredients are locally sourced, of the highest quality and cooked to perfection. I will add that the staff are as perfect as the food, polite, respectful, helpful etc. A very good experience on every visit and definitely the only place that I will use for breakfast. 😁

I visited this tea room whilst waiting for my bus to Umberleigh. After travelling from Preston, Lancashire I was happy to be able to relax with a coffee. The staff were really friendly and the place had a great vibe. City life can be a bit hectic so it was refreshing to visit this little tea room and we were even tempted with cake which was delicious!

Great salami lovely selection of cheeses. Like more West country cheeses. Second visit. A must visit when in Crediton.
