The ladies are always so welcoming and lunch and drinks are always delicious and we'll presented. I love to cook and know I can always find unusual ingredients for my recipes here. A lovely little tea room suddenly besieged by seven of us wanting cream teas, pancakes and teacakes. All were delicious and the coffee was great too. Friendly service. Recommended!

We found Treloars on a detour following traffic problems on our journey from Cornwall to London. It consists of a delicatessen with beautifully kept tearooms. The staff were caring, welcoming and cheerful. The premises and cloakrooms were spotless and there is plenty of public parking nearby. We decided on a ploughman's each as we could see their range of cheeses was vast. We discovered local cheeses we had never heard of which were totally exquisite and the home made ham was also wonderful. Our meal came with salad, delicious chutney, pickles, cole slaw, potatoes and a generous portion of sourdough bread and butter. We had a very fresh coffee with our meal and a wonderful and generous portion of home made shortbread. Would make a detour for this place again!

A super little deli and a lovely place to eat. Locally sourced Devon food and drink, and very nice staff. Delicious homemade pasties, cakes, patie, chocolate chutneys, etc.

We happened across Treloars by accident. The blackboard menu outside sounded tempting and when we ate, our meal expectations were exceeded. The light (light!) breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented. the taste was superb and plenty to eat. The hot chocolate was very good and was hot (not always the case in cafeterias!) The staff were very friendly and made us most welcome. The charges were very reasonable and we shall certainly visit again. The deli offered a very good selection.

Buy several chorizo for cooking each time I visit the shop! They really are a cut above anything else you can get - they fry brilliantly and add piquancy to a paella whatever the Spanish say!

Wonderful small shop for a pre-Christmas browse for presents, or just to find something to add to your meal any time of year. Pity about the coffee shop seating in the shop which prevents good access to some shelves, but needs must in staying in business and if that keeps the deli open at least we have somewhere to find the less usual. Would like to see more selection in the fresh produce cheese/cold meat/olives etc but for packed good very good.

We have bought several specialities from this wonderful deli. The special you have to try is game pie. No party or Christmas would be the same without it.

We visited late afternoon on a cold day. The welcome was just as chilly as the weather. It was very noticeable that the staff were much more friendly towards locals and it really was a case of being made to feel like 'outsiders'. Cold Comfort Farm came to mind! The food and drink was fine but we shall never return.

Esta tienda tiene una pequeña encantadora sala de té en la parte trasera de la tienda. la comida es preparada por los propietarios, y las sopas, empanadas, tartas, quiches y pasteles son deliciosos. Lo recomendaría para/almuerzo de café/té

My friend Julie and I came upon this 'little treasure' when visiting Crediton last week. The food was wonderful and service second to none.To say it was value for money is an under-statement. We ate till full, drank their delicious coffee and I purchased a lovely Christmas present. Will we be visiting again? - Yes most certainly.

We visited on our way home from Exeter. I saw the sign for homemade cakes and couldn't resist What a find. The owners are so friendly and helpful. There is plenty of room so you never feel in the way of shoppers. Such a pretty shop. The lemon drizzle cake was utterly delicious. Lots of lovely deli produce. A delightful place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. You feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. We shall return.

My wife and l, were visiting my home town, that l had not seen for a few years, and we needed to find somewhere for lunch, this was the little gem we found, it had a small tea room, at the rear with approximately four tables, we sat in the shop part on a table for two, and by the window was a table for four. We decided on two plough mans, mine was beef and ham with salad, and some new potatoes in a marinate, my wife had a ham one, with slightly curried rice, stuffed tomatoes and some new potatoes in the marinate, but no salad, they were presented by the excellent staff attending this Delicatessen. The two girls running this shop/café were very busy throughout the time, we were having our lunch, but they handled everything with a smile. We will visit this wonderful Delicatessen, when we are next in town.

I visited this tea room whilst waiting for my bus to Umberleigh. After travelling from Preston, Lancashire I was happy to be able to relax with a coffee. The staff were really friendly and the place had a great vibe. City life can be a bit hectic so it was refreshing to visit this little tea room and we were even tempted with cake which was delicious!

My husband and I have frequented the Swan Neck cafe many times, as we walk along Tiverton canal regularly. The experience has always been fantastic - cakes, coffee, hot chocolate - top rate. However my experience today was somewhat disappointing. I paid £7.50 for the soup of the day and a roll. I was astonished to see when it arrived that it was a smallish coffee cup of soup, rather than a bowl, accompanied by a small white roll. £7.50! The soup was delicious but in my opinion it should have cost about half what was paid. I always try to support small independent businesses but I'm afraid today's experience has left me feeling rather wounded and that I have been taken advantage of. Definitely not value for money in my opinion. Sorry Swan Neck but you've got it wrong on this one.

We called in for something to eat but it cost us over sixteen pounds for two coffees and two bland cakes you could go to bridge house just up the road and for another three pounds you can have two large coffees with two large snacks ,etc, Welsh rarebit with masses of gammon .the decor does not suit the bakery though I suppose that's what you are paying for but l for one do not like being ripped off,why calling a bakery when you can't buy any bread or cakes as you have to order it days in advance and there isn't any thing on display in the window. They are trying to be an upmarket cafe in the wrong place.we won't bother going there again ,rather go up the road ., at least we won't be ripped off.

Just visiting for lunch and a walk around the grounds with my daughters and pup, we were very much spoiled. Such a lovely afternoon on the terrace. Thank you! :)
