We ordered over the phone and collected within 15 minutes. Friemdsly staff and Food was amazing! We've had lots of Chinese takeaways but this was one of the best. Will be ordering again next time we're in the area 10/10 Also Carpark behind and they take card 👍

Stopped for a what turned out to be a very dissapointing visit. Didnt bother staying for a feed as the service was below average and the drinks too expensive for what we got.

Five star friendly service,breakfast, vegan cake and coffee was very welcoming after our parkrun, Will definitely return, Thank you Peppers

My wife and I both have Shepton connections but had never been to the cafe before. Having g recently retired, we called in for a toasty and a sandwich. The food selection is brilliant, prices really reasonable (no £8 sandwiches here), and the staff really friendly. Sadly, the cafe is up for sale but we really hope to get the chance to return before it closes or goes upmarket.

Went to the thatched cottage today at about 14.45 it says open on the website and on a post on the pub wall but it wasn’t. Tried to ring 3 times but no answer.

Visiting on holiday we fancied a curry and was a decision between two in the town , we chose here as it looked nicer from the outside , we are so glad we did , the food was delicious and the staff were incredibly welcoming , very friendly and attentive , we will definitely be back , thankyou :)

I was visiting Shepton Mallet, Too be honest it’s a very depressing, looks tired, I stopped here for a coffee ( Latte ) the only coffee they do is out of a Tesco’s coffee jar and charge £4 , the people in there was friendly but it was dark tired not a nice place for a coffee as I walked up I saw a much better one, my advice is look around for a cafe

Booked a 2 night stay with breakfast included. Went down in the morning for breakfast to find the bar and reception all locked up. No food. Had to go elsewhere for breakfast, making me late for meeting. Room was very small and noisy.

Rooms are basic but clean and good enough

There have been significant prices increases at Sunrise in Shepton Mallet over the past 4 months with two significant price increases since October, as an example a bag of Prawn Crackers cost £2.50 in October, which increased to £3.00 in November and today cost £3.50. Our overall bill tonight was 22% higher than in October 24. Sorry Sunrise, but this is not justifiable and significantly exceeds inflation.
