Out for a walk around Lyme Regis & we followed the River Lim Trail. We noticed the Black Dog tearooms on one of the information boards & decided to pay a visit. We were so glad we did as our lunch was delicious. Homemade soup served with lovely homemade bread made using flour from the Town Mill. The cakes looked wonderful so we couldn't resist a slice of lemon & raspberry sponge for afters. It's certainly on our list of places to visit again especially as it was an easy walk from Lyme Regis.

Basically, an open-air eatery linked to a shop selling fishing gear. Fishing boats moored nearby. ideal for a pre-fishing trip snack. Food was only average.

Went in this cafe for breakfast.Told there was a half an hour wait. When the breakfast came out most of it was cold. It's a nice location and with a complete face-lift,which includes new staff could do quite well.

We were looking forward to ‘Pie Night’ for a long time, since our friends had been previously. We were not disappointed! The pies were absolutely delicious - especially my fish pie. Out of this world good and hands down the BEST most scrumptious fish pie I’ve ever had. Extremely generous portions, hot veggies, yummy desserts and wonderful service. Really enjoyed ourselves and can’t wait to go back for more.

A really lovely village pub. The staff were really friendly and helpful. A good selection of drinks and a good menu. We had the venison cottage pie with sides of mac n cheese homemade slaw and Parmesan chips. All cooked and presented very well indeed. We can highly recommend this lovely pub. Thank you and keep up the good work.

This was our first visit to Lyme Regis and after having a little look around we were all getting a little hungry so we decided to stop off at Jane's Cafe on the parade. There were five of us and we all shared two boxes of cheesy chips together, I can't comment on the drinks that the others had but the cheesy chips were very nice. Good position sizes although could have been a little bigger but the chips were nice and there was plenty of grated cheese on top - I expect it would have been even better if it was melted slightly! There were plenty of places to sit and eat with nice views over the beach. The only negative comment from a family member was that the staff were a little slow serving the drinks but the food was ready pretty quickly and it was hot which was the main thing! A good little place to stop for a quick drink and something to eat.....
