Best coffee on our trip through England so far and that includes some pretty big cities including London. We stumbled upon this container and counted ourselves lucky. The owner/barista was very pleasant and chatted briefly about the inception of the place and his expansion. We got 2 cappuccinos and the barista made some fancy artwork in the milk. I also got a piece of pastry from a local baker which was super fresh and to die for. The cappuccino tasted amazing, very rarely, outside of Italy, do you get a cappuccino that’s made with a great tasting bean, not bitter, but strong and a hint of sweet and then the perfect froth on top that’s not too milky or foamy. This one was PERFECT. Aside from that, I loved the furniture made out of pallets and the tastefully decorated container. I could have happily stayed longer, sipping cappuccinos in the sun there, but unfortunately there was no bathroom on site. As the season picks up, maybe a portable??

Best massaman me and my partner have ever had. Sticky rice made it 10/10. Spring rolls and pad Thia also amazing! Knew what vegan was ans were happy to cater. Great prices too. Will not be our last while in Cornwall. Lamorna cove is a very close too so can take dinner to a great view point

The latest owners have done an incredible job with the place. Definitely worth another visit if you haven't been back recently. I came down to visit family after moving away from the area a few years ago. I had previously assumed that the pub would eventually end up being repurposed into a house or something similar. This time the pub had a very accommodating, warm and friendly atmosphere. The pub was comfortably filled with people and felt like a rising success story.

Very nice location made better with a lovely little cafe with a good menu and nice sea front seating! Would recommend again!

Great fully plant-based menu - appears to be same/similar to Orange in Mousehole. We had loaded fries, sausage/cheese sandwich and cakes for lunch - all very tasty. Nice seating inside and extensive outside seating for when the weather is good. Just a shame it hasn't been open for longer in the summer.

Had a great bowl of soup and coupla cups of coffee. Great soup, charming service. And if you're some north-country moron who won't pay with a card but insists on cash I suggest you go quietly about your business without leaving a decent hand-working bunch a bad review on that basis alone.

My hubby and I ate there last night. We both had steak and chips followed by treacle pudding, all washed down with a couple of pints. The food was very tasty and perfectly cooked as was the ale well kept. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Our two large dogs were very welcome and had plenty of space to lie down and look longingly up for treats. The price was exceptionally good value these days so will definitely be going back!

Today is Wednesday April 2nd. We often visit and called in to have a coffee and buy some pasties to take on our walk over to Nanjizel. I had checked the cafes opening hours and was pleased to see its website said it was open. It is not! Very disappointing 😞 Sadly, this seems to be typical of many catering outlets in Penwith at the moment.

Myself and a friend stayed for 1 night and we loved it. Our room was just incredible being right on the front and being able to hear the sea and crashing waves was fabulous. We had cocktails with dinner which were made by Cain. We ate at the pub which was delicious. We both had steak and were cooked perfectly. Breakfast was great with lots of selection. The staff were friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Thank you and we will recommend your pub and will definitely be back but for longer.

Great little café just up from Porthcurno Beach. We had a steak pasty, chocolate cake, a vanilla latte and a mocha – all delicious. The pasty was the best I had in Cornwall, perfectly crumbly, juicy and full of flavour. The chocolate cake was moist and rich, and the coffee was really good. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the cliffs while watching cars tackle the tricky single lane road. A lovely spot to relax in the sun with some tasty food and drinks. Definitely worth stopping by if you're visiting the beach.
