Lovely little Cafe in a beautiful setting atop a magical little cove.

Rude staff! 3 members of staff working and all seemed to be young girls with seriously bad attitude. Had a very big line of people and only one girl doing work. The other two were ignoring the whole line of customers and chatting amongst themselves. After I’d been stood for 15 mins one girl whispered to her colleague, clearly about me, and then rudely asked what I wanted. Terrible terrible service. Such a shame as the location is nice! But the staff really let this place down. Be prepared to queue and be served with bad attitude from staff who don’t care about the job.

Nice idea but the staff are pretty rude. Whoever is running this cafe needs to step up and not reply on children to run this place. The girls were swearing and giggling and it took all of them to do one job. Also there is no service or no wifi in this area to be warned! Food and drinks was nice I will say and the location is stunning.

Fabulous vegan options, and best lemonade I’ve ever had.

A real find at the end of a narrow lane and a welcome stop after a blustery walk along the beach. Very English and welcoming, good coffee which for me is a must.

I'm sorry, but we have often stopped off at this cafe for drinks whilst running on the coast path. We will not be doing so again. £2.95 for a can of coke, which costs 56p at the wholesalers! There is mark up and there is daylight robbery Tourist tax on a low cost item is not appreciated, thank you but no thanks. Never again

The young person serving on the afternoon of Wednesday 7th seemed to be under the impression that her working there was somehow doing me a favour! Bad attitude noticed by the line of people waiting but I did get the ice cream I wanted just would have been nicer with a more helpful (my queries were answered with clipped one word answers) person behind the counter.

Walked from Land's End and came upon this cafe by chance. Had a tasty ploughman's that was expertly put together. Lovely staff, great location and reasonable prices. For 5 stars, the bread has to be homemade 🙂.

Lovely little cafe with delicious cake and some of the best ice-cream I have had in Cornwall 🤤 good place to stop if hiking the coast. Really friendly service and a gorgeous location. They do accept card payment, however signal can be a little temperamental - so use cash if you have it.

Perfect for a break while hiking along the coast. Small, cosy little house where you can get hot and cold drinks and sweet or savoury snacks to go. Thanks to the directly connected garden with plenty of tables, you can also take a break right outside. Public toilets are just round the corner. We can recommend the Cornish pasties for lunch. We especially had the steak pasty and the vegan vegetable pasty, which is very varied. The coffee is fine, a portafilter machine is used. Milk alternatives are available. The tea is of course very good ;)

i wanted to use it, but i did not as i was asked by an individual from the cafe area: " what are you looking for?" - "for everything"- "the toilets are there and the cafe here. but you cannot park here, the car park is over there." so after i reparked i just used the toilets and left. i originally parked next to one house, it was public area, no note of no parking there and other cars could pas my car. i did not dare to turn uphill in sharp narrow turn into the car park but after her order i had to. i managed but it was my last time.

This is a place to walk to. It is a small hit, a neat collection of tables and benches right down beside a tiny cove. The food comes in disposable card dishes and cups. A walkers quiet haven with good bowls of water for your dogs.

Great little cafe makes for a lovely stop on the SW coastal walk. Coffee and cake is lovely and really friendly service. We had the place to ourselves as we arrived just after opening so had the pleasure of the birds in the garden behind joining us to be fed

We had a cream tea , was lovely and fresh ,tea was lovely no cheap tea bags we've been a few times over the years.

We stayed in the cottage opposite lovely cafe friendly staff amazing pasties ,ice cream and coffee look forward to coming back !

Nice little cafe right on the coastal path. Great for a hiking break. We had ice cream and a brownie, along with two cold drinks. The ice cream tasted good and the brownie was also very tasty. Prices are a little higher than normal, especially for ice cream. The employees are super nice. The seating in the courtyard is very comfortable. There are public toilets right next door that can be used by the café's guests.

Located quite lonely in beautiful Cornwall, it is a small, fine shop run by two lovely ladies who try to sweeten the day of tired hikers and nature children with a hot drink such as tea or coffee and a delicious pastry. There is a small garden that welcomes guests, protected from the wind. Furthermore see pictures

Delicious cornish pasties from this remote little cafe with outdoor seating in a wonderful location at Porthgwarra Cove. We were quite surprised to find the cafe open in early march, but we're glad is was. We had delicious hot cornish pastie and teas whilst sitting outside at the picnic tables and watching a tame robin eating the crumbs.

Wonderfull cafe with outside seating only. Right on the coastal path, a great find and place to rest your weary feet. Open all year round. Highly recommend the Lemon and Lime cake which was also one of their gluten free options. Staff also excellent and knowledgeable about the area.

What a pleasant surprise to find a cafe at Porthgwarra, while walking a circular walk along the coast from Poligigga. Coffee was excellent. Pasties were very good (but not as good as Philips's). But you won't find a better location to have coffee and pastie.

Before or after your walk along the coastline have a cuppa and a cornish pastie . Easy parking and not expensive with wonderful views and excellent places to watch the wildlife.

The staff are really friendly. They also serve fantastic pasties and top notch coffee.

Lovely welcoming staff today,with a good selection of food and drink at reasonable prices..another wonderful Cornish area to visit and the cafe was just what was needed at this remote cove...

It was incredible, affordable and delicious but unfortunately the toilets were disgusting and that really let it down. Parking was OK but I didn’t mind. Would happily visit again. Stunning views.

We always walk here from Treen along the coastal path via Porthcurno and the Minack. The walk and the café are wonderful. Lovely staff. Good coffee and cakes and snack lunches. Worth several miles of walking for this. Fantastic location.

Dropped just managed to park up. Only went for the views and a coffee not disappointed views are spectacular

So surprising to find this really lovely cafe which felt like middle of nowhere! Staff were friendly and helpful! Really pleased with vegan options available! Our children really enjoyed their ice creams!

Very friendly staff and a real gem to have this cafe - especially after a long hike along the coast back to Porthgwarra. Plenty of benches to sit at too.

Been here before about 3 years ago but the cream teas are just as awesome. Beautiful scenery and amazing tunnel down to the small beach below.

Porthgwarra is definitely worth a visit but you will find limited parking. There is a good garden to eat and drink in. I ordered a dirty chai latte - it wasn’t on the menu but they said they could make it. The problem was when they came to charge for it. Usually an extra shot of coffee is charged at roughly £0.50 and on their menu a double espresso is charged at £0.20 more than a single espresso. I could not believe it when they charged £6.20 on the basis that the it was an espresso at £2.60 plus a chai latte at £3.60. There was no room for movement as “I don’t set the prices - I only work here unfortunately”

Très joli endroit permet de faire une pause sur la randonnée avec une petite crique à côté. Cependant ne pas prendre de scone cream plus de 6,50€ pour deux pauvres brioches de la confiture et de la cornish cream sans goût c est un peu exagéré

One of the Duchy's hidden gems but remote to get to. Just as good 2023.

Stunning beach. Tiny car park. Staff in the cafe (last year) were quite hostile when I asked them what time they opened. The one member of staff in a vw camper was especially hostile and tailgate us all the way down to the car park.

Al fresco eating on a gloriously sunny day... good pasties... OK coffee... what's not to like?

Very idyllic spot, lovely building and if you are lucky not to have rain behind the cafe they have lots of open air seating. Simple menu, but the turnover was tasty. Flatwhite.....very weak so not sure it had the required double shot, and I watched three people make it!!! Very slow service.

Cafe was good. However, access to the cove was very steep. Not suitable for wheelchair users or elderly.

Delicious soup with a lovely toasted roll. Friendly staff and a very cute seating area too. Carparking close by and easy access to the beach and coast path.

Kleines gemütliches Kaffee mit Tischen im grünen Innenhof und kostenlosen Toiletten. Kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz direkt daneben. Natürlich auch am Coast Path gelegen und zum Zwischenhalt geeignet.

We stumbled across this little cafe hut while walking the coastal path and it’s a hidden gem. We had a brownie and flapjack which were both lovely and stopped to watch the birds and have a rest in the garden.

Amazing little find whilst walking the south west coastal path. Veggie pasty is one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly placed, with a lovely eating area to recharge before heading back along the coast.

I arrived after walking from Porthcurno at 2 mins past 4 pm last Sunday, dying for a coffee or any hot drink to be told hot drinks and food were only served until 4 pm and only cold drinks or ice cream We’re available . I asked if even a cup of tea but they were adamant and I left feeling disgusted by their unkindness and inflexibility. I will never go there again . I walked up the lane and back to Porthcurno over the fields feeling very upset.

Great selection of cake and savoury items. Includes gluten free cakes. Hot pasty was a winner.

Such beautiful spot but tight road so do not think to go down there with a big vehicle , we grabbed a take away and went down to be greeted by a couple of funny seals xx

Iced coffee was amazing and so were the pasties. So much so no pictures… Drive over is a a narrow road but that is part of the experience. Fantastic place, you won’t be disappointed.

Great little stop off for a snack around breakfast/lunch for coffee, tea, bacon rolls, pasties, baguettes, cakes etc. Remember it shuts quite early, often around 3-4pm

Excellent, cake and coffee served by friendly staff in a wonderful oasis, Cove is at end of typical very narrow Cornish lane, but it’s idyllic.

I don't know if there was just a massive misunderstanding, but having asked where I can bin my coffee cup that I bought maybe 45 mins previously, they were really wierdly rude. Telling me they can't take back everyone's rubbish. Bemused, I pointed out it came from here, only for the women to aggressively say 'you still going on love?' She then demanded my name which was also super aggressive and wierd. Looking at other recent reviews, perhaps they have had a change of ownership. Unpleasant experience.

Take away that came Just in time. The Porthgwarra hot Chocolate was an absolute treat.

Life changing BLT. I think I dream about it most nights. Almost drove an 1.5 hrs back the next day to have another. The egg salad sandwich was also great, but that BLT will haunt me forever.

Nice spot for a stop. Steep slope to sea with little sand. Lots of potential walks available but there is a cost for parking. Cafe itself has excellent variety of snacks and drinks.

Pastie was only lukewarm and was undercooked, had a slightly raw dough taste. The scones were the opposite, overcooked and dry. Coffee was okay. Nice location though.

This was an oasis - a wonderful welcome and a great range of pastries, drinks and cake, in the beautiful garden - thank you.

In the past this has been a nice cafe but today it sorely disappointed. Arrived just after 10am and had a cream tea. Scones were dry and like rocks and judging by the date on the box they came out i believe they were yesterdays scones. A shame.

Absolute jewel of place! Middle of no man’s land. Awesome find after long coastal path walk with family. We stopped to have some snacks(Cake, Sausage roll and crisps) also had some drinks, highly recommend stopping here. Lovely garden seating area. Dog’s are welcome also

Lovely cottage Café close to the coastal path. We through the path from theatre to Land End, it might be the 1/3 point of whole path. Nice lady served us, with creamy latte and Cornish pastry, beef and onion 🧅, very tasty!!!

We had pasties, iced coffee and scones and it was all delicious! Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of sitting available. The location is beautiful and is a great way to start/finish a hiked in the surrounding area.

I always find everyone very friendly and accommodating. Good locally sourced coffee and food. Highly recommended x

What a find!!! Walking from Lands End to Minack we came across this hidden gem. Fancied a little something to keep us going and got the scrambled egg and bacon bap…OMG…best ever!!! Decided to come back for lunch after Minack and shared the BLT and a tuna melt. Truly magnificent. This girl is cooking off the scale. Lovely setting, really friendly staff and top top quality. Worth the walk for this alone.

Had the vegan pastie and coffee. Lovely sitting watching the sea whilst having lunch.

Disappointed at 1557 we were told we couldn't have a cup of tea, only cold drinks and ice cream because the hot drink machine was being cleaned. Missed opportunity on a beautiful afternoon to make people feel welcome in such a lovely spot and we know we weren't the only ones turned away. When will cafes and tea rooms realise that 4pm is optimum time to be serving tea and cake!

Small take away with outside tables by the cove. Coffee was fine, although in paper cups & the cakes were good.

Great banana and peanut butter cake, hot chocolate and spotted some choughs nearby.

Great Flat White with Oatmeal milk! Guests also had a lush looming breakfast bap!! Be back again on Sunday!

It seems amazing that such a modest building can produce such great food. We were there on a sunny Sunday and many of the dishes were sold out as the cafe is so popular -deservedly so. In spite of being run off their feet, the two women in the cafe were friendly and welcoming, and served up marvellous fresh pollack and a BLT to beat all others. Good coffee and outdoor seating in this beautiful spot made for a perfect lunch. This place is a real gem, not least because of the menu and the people cooking and serving.
