We stopped for an ice cream while on the search for our car keys which we lost on the beach!! 🤦🏽♀️ The rum and raisin ice cream was AMAZING and no complaints from the kids and hubby with their choices! The lovely gent who served us got his wife Zara to help us with locating the keys which luckily where found and left at the RLNI across but was closed, she managed to find someone who got the keys So thank you so much for your help lovely people and for the ice creams! 🥰 wishing you all the best x

Very bad customer service, the female member of staff was aggressive. I wouldn't recommend going to this shop.

We popped in here very late in the day for a bite of something to keep us going. Lucky for us they had one sausage roll left and being 8 inches in length we both had 4 inches to munch on! Very tasty, great view from their outside seating area.

Has a good variety of ice cream flavours, and does what it says on the tin! The service was friendly, and the portions were reasonable (unlike what other reviewers may have experienced).

AVOID - the only reason this place would seem to survive is that it’s the first stop en route from the car park to the beach. Miserable service, miserable staff, entirely inconsistent SMALL portions plus suspect hygiene (a rating of 4 out of 5, not displayed, witnessed zero hand washing between visits to the dustbin and serving ice cream). Not nice. Kelly’s ice cream served (lovely stuff), so go down to the beach cafe and get twice the amount for less cost with a huge smile from the staff, even when busy. Or try the local Moomaid ice cream at the Fish and Chip/ Surf School further along the main road.

Disappointing... Bought 3 ice creams from the take away hatch. Very young person left to serve who didn't have much in the way of customer service. Each ice cream was a completely different size: one was so small it would have been amusing if it hadn't cost £2.20!

Really nice flavoured ice cream, waffle cones also and the flakes are kept in the fridge so they aren’t soft in the warm weather. Not over priced either. Well done

Despite the stormy weather, the car park was really full. But luckily the queue for the coffee and snacks was not to long despite the social distancing in place. Food and drinks at this time is just served through a window, but lots of choice and friendly and helpful staff

Anywhere that sells coffee ice cream is a winner with my wife and son. I loved the caramel crunch. Just delicious sitting on the beach eating them. My son also loved the sausage rolls.

Great to have this on our doorstep during our stay.Service was fine. Only a smallish range of flavours which actually helped narrow down what to have. The Cornish Vanilla was rather sweet without much vanilla, no fault of the shop. Mint Choc Chip was excellent.Highly recommended.

Reasonably priced ice creams with the options of clotted cream and flakes too. Generous range of pasties and rolls also readily available. The outlet also offers a small range of inflatables and beach accessories.

Beautiful hot sunny day and a tasty ice cream was just what we needed. Quick service and we all had different flavours. Good size portion and none of us were disappointed with our choices. Picnic benches available opposite to site in were ideal.

Stopped by for a pasty and an ice cream, great selection of ice creams and good service, the only thing I can't recommend is the coffee, not the best for the price and with powdered milk. The ice cream was good value though.

This is the second year we have been to sennen cove, both times may I add we have stayed in the apartment next to the ice cream parlour owned by the lady who owns the ice cream shop, I can happily say we have never had a problem, and the lady and her husband are two of the nicest people you will ever meet! Fantastic service all round, very welcoming hence the reason we will continue to go every year, One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited, my little girl loves popping next door to the ice cream shop when we are there, pasties are great too very filling and great value for money! I would highly recommend!

I don’t know where the people who serve at this place got they hygiene training from. If no one is behind the counter you can normally find them across the road sitting outside the lifeboat station smoking. The pasties are about as hot as the overpriced ice cream. Anyone who had a hot pasties may be due to it being in the sun or a hot day. They will even win any custom service or food awards, stay well clear.

We stayed overnight one night in Sennen Cove on a Sunday. We took a long walk in the afternoon and stopped for ice cream at the Ice Cream Parlour. We had window service. The lady behind the glass just starred at us. We asked for a scoop of chocolate ice cream. She took our money and never said a thing. Not even a smile. Come on-this is an ICE CREAM PLACE! At least smile at your customers instead of making them feel like they are intruding.

I don't what the other review is all about, total rubbish, the pasties from the Ice Cream Parlour are the best I have ever had in Cornwall. The staff are very friendly, and helpful. While we were there plenty of locals sat outside chatting away, even the local "Bobby" (Police) was sat, talking to locals and visitors, having a pasty and mug of tea !!!So it can't be that bad can it if the locals use the place can it !!!

We have just spent a fabulous week in Sennen cove, one of the most beautiful places in the UK. The people of Sennen have always been extremely welcoming and appreciative of our custom. However, we unfortunately made an error of judgement in buying £25.80 worth of pasties from The Cornish Ice Cream shop at the far end of the cove opposite the life boat station, The pasties were served by a young polite girl, bagged up and carried back to the family. Granted this walk took approx 3 minutes but when we then bit into the pasties they were at best luke warm and at worst ice cold in the middle.Having already taken a trip to A&E with a fractured wrist that week we did not feel inclined to have anyone else poorly. Our party ranged in age from 20 months-74 years and the pasties were inedible and potentially dangerous. We returned to the shop and were spoken to by the rudest, bad mannered woman you could hope to meet. She denied that the pasties were cold despite me being able to hold my finger in middle of the filling (if you've eaten a true Cornish pasty you will know they are usually scarily hot!) and said she didn't care what our opinion was. She said the sign outside only said "pasty", I was able to point out that it actually said "hot pasty" and that was not what she was selling. We requested a refund and told that there was no way she was giving back our 25.80 despite our protests, we therefore had to shell out another £25 for more from the Beach restaurant (these were scorching hot, delicious and annoying 5p cheaper each)I am in the process of going through environmental health and trading standards as this food was very unpleasant, potentially very dangerous and the customer service was truly appalling. The 3 women that work in shop then proceeded to tell us that we were "only tourists" as they sat outside smoking. They thought the whole episode was hilarious. I decided they clearly did this on a regular basis and take advantage that their customers are only there for a week.My husband, who ironically is a director of a pie company, explained very politely the regulations re serving hot food at 64 degrees and again requested our money back. We were refused, he therefore requested a receipt and was refused. She said it would "mess up her till", he asked 3 x and she said "you're not having one love" with a smile. We are not in the habit of complaining, we all have professional jobs and approached the situation in a polite and respectful manner. We were treated appallingly by people who clearly do not have any respect for the customers who ultimately are paying their mortgages.

Firstly, I am local….. Secondly, I speak the truth… Thirdly, I am glad that the prices remain reasonable to the working class family man…… Although the decor might be a little bit tiring, the hospitality compensates…… On the last at least…. This place does amazing food…. Fantastic variety and the special board fluctuates…. I just don’t think that anybody that is down earth Can fully understand what it must be like to run a business. It’s like the same goes spread all your cards out and choose wisely. I have eaten all over the world up and down throughout the UK…. And I don’t remotely care what negativity comments I read on here about the coppice…. I salute every individual under the Employment of the establishment. Therefore, I totally recommend anyone to try this place. If you are too posh to wash and this place is not for you.. And if you do not suffer by piles Then clearly, you are the perfect backside …. And as Dell boy once said…. Bonjour …..

My elderly parents stayed overnight at this charming local inn. They were, from the start, treated with huge care and respect. Staff went above and beyond to cater for their needs which included swapping rooms to allow easier access, housing (and charging) a mobility scooter at some inconvenience and finally ensuring they left and returned safely from their social commitment. Their kindness was amazing. And the room itself was fresh, clean and well maintained with all the charm you would expect in this lovely building.

Went for a coffee and was told could only have take away as it was 15:40 on a Sunday, my wife and I are both disabled and I have an ostomy and asked to use the loo and was told I could only if I buy something, so it cost me 7 quid for two takeaway coffees just to use the loo....thanks national trust
