The best restaurants in Newlyn and Mousehole Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

This a a lovely little cafe in a beautiful setting with very friendly and helpful staff. I’ve given it 5 stars as I could see the quality of the meals coming out but I have to be honest and say that my friend and I had sandwiches, one white and one granary. Both of us, sadly, found the bread very dry with pretty much inedible crusts. The contents were really good but were a bit spoilt by the chef using margarine rather than butter. I do wish this didn’t happen as the sandwiches here and in many other places are quite pricey so you would think we could get butter? Anyway, we would go back but not for the sandwiches

We ordered pizzas for delivery when on holiday in Mousehole and really enjoyed them. The pepperoni was my favourite and the stone baked dough was excellent. The delivery was as promised and the service great. Highly recommended 😊

I was hungry for fish after visiting the fish market with my mate Rick. They didn't do fish. That speaks volumes.

Absolutely delicious food, great venue, lovely staff and excellent value. A hidden gem!! The crab croque (crab toastie) was sooo tasty!! And my mum loved her bacon, Brie and cranberry toastie. Can’t wait to go again - the cakes looked fab!

I cycled to this café, one, day, I ordered, a nice sandwhich with a cup of tea, I would , recommend , this café to anybody, who, want, to eat, alfresco, I even had my very own table, with a nice, comfitable chair, all, the staff, were, so, polite and understanding, even , though, have got a disability

My word the food here is so good. My favourite place to eat. I love the lemon sole with Katsu curry and the Newlyn crab on Turkish bread. Lovely friendly staff thanks so much x

Stopped for lunch and a beer here today with my husband and daughter and had the best lunch out I’ve had for a while. The loaded fries were delicious and the veggie burger was so good. Would 100% recommend it. Sat outside with the dogs. Stopped here at first as it was the only place to sit outside in the sunshine in Mousehole that we could see. Best decision. Really was very good 🙂

My friend is vegan and suggested this cafe. Very glad we went there. Good coffee, good cake, good atmosphere, great service!

Superb plant based cafe in Mousehole. Amazing range of food and drinks. Good portions and delicious food. I had the sausage and cheese sandwich and shared it with my kids loaded fries. Lovely spot too. Nice indoors and outdoor seating options. There were 8 of us and service was good and all were happy! Even the non vegans among us! Thank you!

What a super venue, compact for sure but located overlooking the fishing village of Newlyn. 6 of us visited for breakfast. The menu has multiple offerings, proper coffee and the food was home cooked in both style and reality. We sat outside overlooking the 14thC quay with the fishing fleet as backdrop. The food was well cooked and tasty and good value, £40.10 for 8 coffees and 8 breakfast bacon or sausage and egg sandwiches, with choices of bread available. I note a full breakfast was a generous offering. Overall excellent and a great way to enjoy food with a view and help a charity too!

Delicious breakfast sat in the sunshine. Would recommend the mushrooms, all the breakfast was tasty 😋

Cracking fish and chips. Fish was large and fresh and the chips crisp, all piping hot. We sat in the window of the actual chippy and thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Stunning view, tasty food and drinks with reasonable prices. My daughters love the kids meal a lot, recommend Cream tea set, scone so big and clotted cream is delicious.
