My friend is vegan and suggested this cafe. Very glad we went there. Good coffee, good cake, good atmosphere, great service!

Everything was amazing, the food, the interior and above all Kahlúa the cafe kitty. Best dirty chai I’ve had will be dreaming of it until I return for summer

We decided to go out for Sunday Lunch and had stumbled in this place via the power of fb. And boy are we glad we did! Easy parking in the local car park then a couple of steps to the attractive exterior - on entering it just got better. A warm welcome, stylish interior ( beautifully clean toilet), and a totally vegan menu. The 2 ladies serving were smiley and didn’t rush us. We had the seitan and nut roast with extra roasties (well you have to don’t you) and the cauliflower and leeks in cheese sauce. His nibs was delighted with the ale selection available and I had a ginger beer. The food arrived after a short while and was divine - a symphony on a plate. The seitan was tasty and the nut roast moist and flavoursome. The accompanying veg joined in the song adding depth of tone and were perfectly cooked. The gravy was the finishing touch! We were totally satiated and sadly couldn’t squeeze in dessert but decided it would be rude not to take a couple of cakes home for later. Extra thanks to our lovely server ( sadly didn’t catch her name - she deserves extra recognition), who was very helpful with suggestions and just lovely ( she had long hair tied back). Will we return? Absolutely - the children are down over Christmas so we will be bringing them for a visit to the wonderful Orange Cafe Bar and Beautiful Mousehole. Eateries catering for vegans, at this level, are rare in Cornwall. Orange Cafe Bar is a total Jewel in the Crown! And the chef came round to see the diners to ask how everything was - just the icing on the cake. Thank you - a perfect Sunday

My first time in a vegan restaurant, bit apprehensive as we aren’t vegan but it was lovely. Great cocktails and nice menu. We really enjoyed our evening there.

The young manager working alone did an incredible job with lots of tables, and gave us excellent advice with unfailing friendliness. The food was outstanding and we will certainly come back.

Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday, what a fantastic find!! Funky and quirky vegan cafe. Loved the layout and decor. Best chai latte ever. Absolutely gorgeous tofu tacos, and the squash salad was sooo tasty. It’s dog friendly too!! Young lady was on her own front of house, and the cafe was full, she was run off her feet, but she was brilliant - well done!! Now top of our list for lunching in Mousehole!

I have been here four times now, its become a thing whenever we come to Newquay, tattoo before I go home. The staff are incredibly friendly and always chatting away when you're there. They make you feel like part of the family. It's clean, tidy, always smells so good woth the cakes and coffee, I always feel like I'm home when I go in.

Very good B&B in a very central location. But it is very expensive so 'value for money' comes into question. Very good cooked breakfast served in the mornings but for the money it should provide freshly squeezed orange juice.

We found our way to Freathy Farmhouse Cafe by following a sign from Whitsand Bay. What a lovely find! Very rustic and charming cafe. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed very generous sandwiches served with delicious salad. Some of us even managed cake! We will definitely return although I understand it is best to check opening times. Ps Loved the decor in the loo!
