Found this totally by chance but WOW. We were in need of something healthy after days of pasties and icecream and this was perfect. The owner was so helpful in accommodating our tastes, and the quality of the ingredients was excellent.

Came to watch Mission Impossible The staff were great, helpful knew their menu and gave us off piste options for our pizzas🍕 We didnt have to wait very long at all and both pizzas were served pipping hot and tasty.. Bonus that we could take our pizzas into the screening with us! A great Cinema atmosphere and the film was good too!

we were visiting Falmouth for the day and spotted little alley ways all over town... we saw this place advertised for food, they do traditional and other flavours of Cornish pasties but we wanted a sandwich and the lady made fresh crab baps white or wholemeal.. we chose wholemeal.. WOW it was the best ever crab bap we have ever had!! fresh bun and filling was oozing out of it a bit pricey but worth every penny... also a decent tea or coffee for a reasonable price if you are in Falmouth you have to try this little place it is takeaway only and is open from 10am until 2pm.. so we wandered down the alley and sat near the water to eat ours.

All I can say is WOW. A journey through delicious sustainable food all cooked by 1 chef in an open kitchen in this small but perfectly formed restaurant. We opted for the wine flight to accompany the menu and it was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality of the wine. All of the courses were incredibly tasty and excellently cooked and every time we thought we had a favourite another dish would come along. Every course was explained to us by the wonderful servers, who were really friendly and knowledgeable, creating a lovely relaxed atmosphere. It was also great to get to chat with the chef, who clearly is extremely talented. It’s safe to say we had an unforgettable experience. We have eaten in 1,2,and 3 star restaurants and this meal was exceptional. Well deserving of a green star for sustainability but also in our opinion deserving of a Michelin star as well. We holiday in porthleven several times a year and Culture will now be on our regular restaurant list every time we are here!

Great food, extremely friendly. 100% vegetarian, which helps. Threw some extra chillis in after we talked about spicy food! (I surived the extras...)

One of my very favourite pubs in Falmouth, and that's really saying something. The building is full of charming character, the staff are wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable, and the ale is just perfect. The chap who runs the place really knows his beer, so there's always a fantastic selection and it's very well looked-after. The beer garden out back is lovely (though the steps are somewhat treacherous) and catches the evening sun. Sadly, OOA at time of this review, hoping it can be renovated in time for summer...

I spent a few months in Falmouth for work and spent a lot of time at Kernowine. Absolutely my favourite place in Falmouth to either sit and read a book on a Sunday afternoon or visit for one of their wine tasting events. The staff were very knowledgable about wine and were always helpful, offering to help me pick a wine I’d enjoy. Whenever I go back to Falmouth I absolutely will be back!

Tim and Bev, who run the joint, are incredible human beings to be around. The fact that their spot is as popular as it is, is frankly no surprise. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is always gorgeous, and the courtyard - simply divine; a testament to their impeccable taste and their hard work. Yes, you may have to queue occasionally to squeeze in, but it’s worth every moment.

Exhausted after a busy day, popped in to Pennycomequick after trawling the tourist restaurants through the whole length of Falmouth. A large table had just been seated and I was pre- warned that there could be a wait. Half way through my pint - I was notified that they were juggling the kitchen but were putting mine in the mix and it shouldn't be too long! Brilliant - food came, staff were lovely and the fish and chip supper was on the mark. For a pub, the atmosphere was fun and inviting and I will repeat - the team were wonderful, energetic and caring.
