Tim and Bev, who run the joint, are incredible human beings to be around. The fact that their spot is as popular as it is, is frankly no surprise. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is always gorgeous, and the courtyard - simply divine; a testament to their impeccable taste and their hard work. Yes, you may have to queue occasionally to squeeze in, but it’s worth every moment.

Provedore is the best restaurant we visit and we eat out most Saturday evenings. Tucked in a surburban street in Falmouth. This restaurant is Cool. There’s a real buzz in there, which is down to the owner, and the food is divine. It is all small plates; tonight we had burrata, ravioli, Tuscan sausage, olives, and chorizo, all delicious. My husband had a couple of large beers and I had the White House wine. We’ve changed our plans for next weekend and we’re going back.

We popped in for lunch. Provedore is a bar on the corner of a residential street. We ordered bread, anchovies and squid. The food was delicious. The bread came with some olive oil and fig balsamic vinegar which was just amazing. The squid was obviously home cooked, with homemade aioli. It was the best I have eaten outside of Seville. It is obviously very popular and reminds me of the small bars in Spain. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Went to provedore on 14 September and took friends who had never been before. We were the first in the queue at 6pm. Shown to our table and eventually served drinks. Everyone around us were having food orders taken and I had to beckon a waitress over. They had overlooked us and 2 of the dishes we wanted were then sold out. Extremely disappointing. We had chosen to go to provedore on a trip from Dorset, having previously lived in Falmouth. Staff need far more training and appeared totally confused. Two orders were brought to our table which we hadn't ordered. On a positive note the food was excellent as usual and we will return. Hopefully this was just a one off.

Lush tapas, but don’t get tempted into stopping there as the Asian/ Indian / Malaysian mains from blackboard menu are guaranteed flavour packed sensations. It’s busy at weekends and there are only a handful of tables so arrive before opening ( 6.30pm) and join the queue to get a table. Whenever I have been there always seems to be just the right amount of tables for everyone waiting - maybe we have just been lucky or it’s Provadore magic. As all the tables sit at the same time service can be slow but it’s that kind of place - chilled and relaxed. There’s a couple of outside tables too if you fancy dining al fresco.

Provedore is practically a hole in the wall it’s so small, and this makes it feel like a cosy, almost exclusive, little place. Located nicely just outside the hustle and bustle of the high street, you could walk past it without knowing it’s there. The menu is quite small, and a lot of it is based on what is available on the daily specials board. This is because the food is so fresh and homemade. My only slight disappointment with this place is that it doesn’t offer any tapas deals (for example 3 tapas dishes for £15 or something to that extent.) at the prices they are available, not many people would be able to order more than 1 or 2 tapas dishes, which kind of defeats the idea of tapas. Moreover, the portions are so small (and the food so delicious) you would certainly want more than 1/2. We also had the pleasure of sampling the Malaysian chicken curry which was one of the specials; it was fragrant and scrummy, and the portions were elegant and small. We left not-quite full because of our lower budget, but would certainly return again for more delicious food!

Staff are always so so lovely and attentive (Bev and Jaye where always the ones who were in when I visited) !! Slightly of the beaten track (IE not the high street) but please do make the stop of as its en-route to campus and the beach and literally 3 mins from town!! Food is always sooooo yummy (I mostly visit for brekkie or early lunch) and the menu had the perfect amount of options catering for Meat eaters, veggies and vegans!! Please keep supporting local independent places like these! ps... Ive heard greatness about the tapas so will be doing that soon!!

Despite the good recommendations this tapas bar was very underwhelming. The crispy squid was soggy as were the olives. The focaccia could have been much more interesting. The last dish to arrive was a platter of charcuterie which we hoped would be the saving grace. What arrived in front of us appeared to be very basic cured meats as if just pealed out of a plastic packet and slapped on a plate. I had the brownie to finish which was just as disappointing as the aforementioned dishes.

Walked in the door having gleaned directions from the local taxi rank, as a locals gem off the main street. A very friendly welcome and luckily one table available. Simple menu with a special combination of flavours in every dish. Memorable freshly baked bread with flavoured balsamic oil dip. A stunning paella with fresh muscles and prawns. Affrogata to round off a thoroughly enjoyable meal, created by a very talented Kiwi with a passion for canoeing. Friends join us for a glass, with still time for a drink in town. Many thanks.

On the advice of our airbnb hosts, my wife and I marched about 400 yards around two corners and had a completely wonderful breakfast at Provedore. The food was delicious and beautifully served and the coffee drinks were absolutely just right. We were treated as friends and neighbors, though we'd never been there before and we would be devoted regulars if we lived anywhere near Falmouth. the staff is warm and effortlessly charming and the only fault I can assign this cozy spot is that it's six thousand miles from where I live! Not their fault. Note to prospective diners: Provedore is very small and intimate. Be patient when waiting to be seated and you'll be well rewarded with a fine meal amid folks who really care about that they serve and how customers are treated. My wife and I cannot wait to be back there trying other items on the menu or showing up for lunch or a tapas supper. Some day.............

We are a couple of a certain age and normally, but not exclusively, eat in what would be described as "conventional" restaurants. We found Provedore on a website looking for a tapas based eatery and were not disappointed with the results of our search or the quality of the dishes we found here. The theme for sure is tapas, but not exclusively from Spain. Our dishes incorporated visits to Morocco, Greece and Italy in a gastro trip round the Mediterranean. Don't expect a lot of room, or any airs and graces, just great tasty food, beautifully prepared, cheerfully served and tremendous value for money.

Provedore sit sup on a hill in Falmouth, away from the main street so you might have to look for this place, but it will reward you if you do. Its a relaxed atmosphere with a limited number of tables, which can sometimes mean squeezing groups in a little but we have never found this to be a problem. No reservations are taken so consider getting there not long after opening time (6.30) or for the later part of the night. The menu has a shifting range of tapas dishes and the chef is excellent at adding new items which at first sound like they wouldn't work but which we have always found to excellently balance different flavours. The range is good, combining meat, fish and veggie dishes and calling on different food cultures and there are a couple of good dessert choices if you want to end the meal on a sweet note. Its not a cheap option compared to local competitors but the quality is excellent, three menu choices per head will leave you happy but the bill will compare with some of Falmouth's better quality restaurants. Its cash only, make sure you have enough with you to cover your meal, its a steep walk back up the hill from the bank.

I've been a fan of this small-but-perfectly-formed cafe/tapas restaurant for many years, so I'm in two minds as to whether I should write this review - I don't want it to be busier than it is already! So what do I love about Provedore? The owners (delightful, so friendly), the decor (think earthy, arty boho European cafe), the music and of course the food and beverages. Mosey on down in the morning and you'll be treated to laid-back tunes that waft over as you munch through brekky, which is mainly tasty sourdough sandwiches, bagels and sweet treats, all washed down with some of the best coffee in town. In the evenings - Thurs to Sat from 6.30pm - upbeat world music adds real buzz and atmosphere to the tapas nights. From the regularly changing dinner menu I recommend the crispy squid (it's to die for - my family and I all get cravings for it), the fish croquettes, the empanadas, the hummus, the flatbread, the cheese board... I could go on, but I suggest you do yourself a favour and sample Provvy for yourself. Be warned though: this slightly-off-the-beaten-track restaurant is so loved by locals that the queue at night can start half an hour before it even opens - and you can't book unless it's for 6+ people. Also, there's no debit/credit card machine, so bring cash.

When I lived in Falmouth I'd pop in occasionally for a flat white, which I'd never had before -- and they can't be beat at Provedore. On a recent visit, I had breakfast for the first time ever (only ever coffee in the past). I was pleased to see the establishment hadn't changed much at all, still lovely, friendly staff and delicious espresso. However, this time I thought I'd try breakfast. I will say it was the most delicious egg and bacon sandwich I've ever had -- until I got about 3/4 of the way through and found a thick, black hair cooked into the egg. I hate to point this out because this place is a gem, but I'm a stickler for hygiene and while I know, yes, these things do happen, hair nets and care taken can avoid them. This is still a fabulous spot but it pains me to say I'll stick to only drinks from now on.A hair that's not mine in my food isn't something I can get over. Sorry to say!

There were lots of options with poached eggs, ham and hollendaise or Cornish breakfast with Spamish ham but we both had the Spanish tortilla in sourdough sandwich with the best chilli sauce I have ever tasted- super hot and they need to bottle it and sell it! The coffee is wonderful and a very relaxed and intimate dining experience. Only four tables which could seat mostly four each so you take your chances if you can get a seat and if you don't like sitting close to other people then this isn't for you. The lunch menu kicks in from 12 and has toasted focaccia or sourdough sandwiches to eat in or take out. Great looking wine selection on the shelf and looking forward to trying it one evening. Definitely go for breakfast! Our two plates and two coffees came to just over £8

The breakfasts are superb and at least once a week I frequent for bagels and their famous bowls of latte which are what they sound like. Usually once I week I head in for a bowl and to do some work in the peace and quiet. No wifi is a definite bonus here but not for everyone I know. The food is always fresh, locally sourced and perfectly cooked. The coffee and cake always excellent. The staff are friendly and chatty and while busy you never feel rushed. They also love my huge dog even though he strategically gets in the way to try and dislodge passing bacon. This was a great eating experience but keep it quiet! Provedore is a tapas bar open for lunch and breakfast on several days but only in the evenings on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It's very small (seats about 30 but in a small corridor shaped place) and therefore intimate. Seating is close together and you are bound to end up talking to your neighbouring tables. It's off the main drag, doesn't take bookings and is very popular with locals - it opens at 6:30, we got there at 6:32 and it was full by 6:50!Apart from the friendliness, the tapas are excellent. A good choice but small enough to know that it will be fresh. I've always been disappointed with squid until now! It was excellent as were the other dishes. This is not fine dining and many aspects are rough and ready but we all came out having had an excellent meal at a reasonable price and having enjoyed the atmosphere and the interaction with other customers. It has a drinks licence. It's a cash only establishment.A place to enjoy a boisterous night with friends. We will be back!

We enjoyed perusing all the flavours and trying as many as we could while on holiday. Banoffee and Cream Tea came out on top!

Amazing beef! Juicy and flavoursome. The fries were seasoned perfectly and the first time my daughter tried chicken wings and ate them all. That's saying something. Can't wait to try more soon.

What an amazing burger Mecca!! The shop front is misleadingly unassuming but the smashed burgers are freshly made and cooked perfectly. The service and presentation were both excellent. All in all a b
