Loved our visit today, beautiful spot, yummy homemade cake and hot chocolate was divine. Very friendly owner and the highlight was meeting the delightful Nora the rescue dog ❤️

Very disappointed ☹️ the pineapple that pina colada came in was not fresh the drink was tasteless after reading so many positive reviews I find it hard to believe any of them after my experience………. P.S I’m NOT going to believe any more reviews from trip advisor as clearly this is just a ploy yo get you there

The reason we came on holiday to Newquay. The perfect setting for a Pina Colada whilst soaking up the rays in the sunshine. Highly Recommend!

Just visited this place and the non alcoholic piña colada is amazing my daughter loved it! I would recommend coming here it’s the best taste delicious, The ladies who run it are so kind and polite! 💚💚

I visited here in the summer with my partner! If I could rate it higher I would, the food and drinks were incredible and overall it was a real pleasure to meet Alison and Holly❤️

Lovely little place right on the beach promenade. Great spot for having a coffee / drink and generally hanging around. Had a very tasty pina colada and a very good flat white. Also, lovely owners!

Absolute 11/10 Unbelievably gorgeous drinks I had the Pina colada and fresh lemonade, nothing to fault, super friendly ladys in the hut more then reasonable price's, 1000% coming back again.

Bread Street
Love the food here. The salads are so good they use seasonal produce and therefore change regularly. The homity pie is scrumptious as is the excellent coffee.. love this cafe thanks to the wonderful staff.

45 New StreetI had high hopes for Mermaid Alley in Penzance, but sadly, the food was a big letdown. I ordered the vegan thali for £25, expecting something flavorful and well-prepared, but it was mostly deep-fried vegetables in bland batter that tasted like absolutely nothing—like eating air. For that price, I expected so much more. On the positive side, the hot chocolate was nice, but that was the only redeeming part of the meal. My daughter said hers was cold. There were no options for children, and the overall pricing felt extortionate. I’ve haven’t felt ripped off in a food establishment for a very very long time, but this experience really stung, especially since I can’t afford to waste money on bad food. They did knock £10 off the bill after I said I wouldn’t eat the meal, but honestly, I think they should have taken off the full price. The staff were polite, but that doesn’t make up for how disappointing the food was. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

St Ives Road, Carbis BayThis was the most tasty and delicious vegetarian food I’ve ever eaten! Being a vegetarian, I’ve eaten in a lot of good vegetarian restaurants. But this food was so delightful. You can tell a lot of care and expertise has gone into the food recipes and presentation. Well done! Run by too very lovely ladies who are very attentive hosts. Such a shame I’m only visiting St Ives as I would be a frequent customer. I’d suggest choose something you wouldn’t normally eat as you’re likely to be in for a lovely surprise. If meat eaters wish to try a very flavoursome alternative, that’s not only tasty but extremely good for you as well. The deserts were wonderful- my chocolate and orange mud pie with orange and ginger sauce and a choice of ice cream or clotted cream (naughty) - whilst chatting to my host was a great way to end my evening. .
