Recently stayed at the Inn for a special birthday.Lovely setting and recently refurbished rooms.Lovely residents lounge and good food.Allows entrance to pool and spa Close by.Staff were excellent and very helpful.Great place

We have stayed at St Mary's Hall many times on full board so we have used the Hall restaurant on many occasions and have always thought the food exceptional. This year we opted to self cater on then Island allowing us more evening freedom, but we wanted to book an evening meal for our wedding anniversary. We had a table in the Grill Room to allow us to bring our Cocker Spaniel with us. The Hall is obviously very proud of the steaks that it offers it's guests as there are pictures all around the restaurant, I would normally have had fillet steak , but as this was not available, I opted for a sirloin which they recommended medium rare, to say I was disappointed was an understatement, my steak was very tough and chewy and full of gristle, I just could not eat most of it. I did complain to the waitress and received £10 of the final bill. But for £49 for just the steak you expect it to be perfect, don't you? That said my wife who is a vegetarian, thoroughly enjoyed her meal. I am sure this was just an unfortunate experience and it will not deter us from ever using The Hall again.

Intimate bistro evening with Elliot the chef. Fun and informative demonstrating his skills and imaginative style. A “must do” if you are staying on St Martins.

Great spot, went in to shelter from the rain. Serves great tea and coffee. Very friendly staff.

This Fish and chips shop is so unique, they go fishing themselves for their catch and then come back and cook the catch They also have their own potato garden and the chips come from there. We of course had the fish and chips but couldn’t resist to add the lobster scampi. The staff was super friendly and the experience fabulous The price so reasonable too.

Great place for food and drinks. When you get to the signs turn left up a drive way.

I ordered the Heidi pizza (goat's cheese, beetroot & nasturtium leaves). So tasty! I'm Italian & this was the best pizza I've had outside of Italy! Absolutely amazing!!!

Only pub on the island and probably the most Southerly pub in UK. Nice nautical interior and several outdoor areas with tables. Surprisingly large selection of beers on handpump. Very expensive.

Such a lovely, lovely place. Staff are so polite and friendly. Food is delicious. Small seasonal menu and a specials board. Beautiful view from the bay windows, even better if you are lucky enough to have the warm weather and sit outside. Cosy atmosphere. Booking definitely recommended in advance if you can although they do accept walk ins

Good food nice view over the harbour

Fabulous independent cafe on St Mary's. Well worth a visit for the homemade fresh food and the great views. Lobster / crab salad was excellent. Wilds birds hopping around the outdoors tables is very cute.

No quibble with the food or service but we were very sad to see a large number of caged birds on the premises. Keeping birds in such a fashion should be confined to the history books
