Recently stayed at the Inn for a special birthday.Lovely setting and recently refurbished rooms.Lovely residents lounge and good food.Allows entrance to pool and spa Close by.Staff were excellent and very helpful.Great place

Best fish and chips with the best view !

We came for roast on Sunday (POA). The flavour of the food was delicious. Bit stingy with the portions, you advertise roast potatoes we had one on the plate, you also advertise carrots plural we had a half each. The plate came with a trickle of gravy, so we asked for more which came, but it was a tiny jug even with this it made the meal quite dry. We had to ask for mint sauce. Portion wise not great for 26 pp. we weren’t late for lunch we arrived at 1.30.

As far as a well-mannered French person can go. The food is well made, the servers are excellent. For the rest, find something else; there are other options in this beautiful place. No empathy, business is business.

Recommended. This is a lovely pub/restaurant/hotel on Tresco. We did not stay and so can only comment on the service and location. We stepped off the footferry from St Marys and found this Inn when it was clear all other cafés close by are closed on Sundays! We should have gone straight there! The staff were delightful and we had a lovely coffee and fresh pastries. There is a great deal of indoor and outdoor dining seating. Their menu looked gorgeous. 😋

It was a lovely day. The sun was shining. The service and food were outstanding. Just dropped a star for the outside furniture that is some need of repair.

Had lunch here at just before 3 pm (their deadline during weekdays - found table and ordered and the food is bought out to you - good service and great location - I visited tresco and then went there on my way back to the harbour for the boat back to St marys

Really lovely pub - meals are reliably great, and lovely accommodation for a short stay! We stayed for a weekend in the run up to Christmas, and it was amazing! Really atmospheric, really peaceful. The staff are all wonderful, the breakfast is really gorgeous. Overall, a beautiful stay, and I'm looking forward to doing it all again this Christmas!

A lovely little pub on Tresco. We stopped here for lunch. They did not have some items on the menu but it did not inconvenience us and is expected on the islands.

Slightly pricey for what you get but the location makes up for it. Prompt and efficient service which is what you should expect for the prices.

A great location with what looked like great food. Beware that the half a sharing platter cost more than half and has way less than half the food. When I said this the waitress said she has been told that before and didn't offer to reduce the cost to half the cost of the full platter. I won't eat there again.
