This is a true gem of a place. Fantastic location with great views towards Hugh Town, the upper terrace is a sun trap and perfect for mid-morning coffee or lunch in late September. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food simple but well made with local ingredients and very tasty. Highly recommended

I visited Juliet's in 2022 and it was by far my favourite place on the island, for food, service and views. However, this year 2024, I think it has gone down hill. Service was poor, constantly getting up to ask for things that never came. Ordered the toasties which is my go to for Juliet's and although it was tasty, the price for what it was, was expensive and the menu seems to be smaller, only offering a few toastie fillings. My family had the cream tea, which they said was the worst they have had, dry and small. I would visit again because I love the views and the birds, but I hope next time the menu is improved and service is better.

My partner and I attended the fabulous wine and food pairing event last night. Thank you to the lovely staff who were super friendly and generous with the wine pouring! The knowledge of Iain who ran the wine tasting was fantastic. Pitched to cover the range of the attendees prior knowledge/experience in wines - but ultimately the priority was that you just had fun and enjoyed some fantastic food and wine. Would be back in a heart beat and hugely recommend this to any visitor or islander!! My only suggestion would be smaller portions of food - was so much! Tasty but a bit overwhelming.

We are lucky to have come to ‘Scilly’ over the years and remember Juliet’s Garden soon after it opened, and always come here, because it is simply fabulous. Food and service are excellent and of course the views are a natural delight, daytime or evening. Many of the staff are young, (I’m very old!), but all (whatever age!) are pleasant and helpful. It is also so useful having the ‘shop’ selling available fresh grown produce and bulbs. All in all just a wonderful experience to carry and remember.. until the next time. Cheers!

We had a(nother) fabulous evening at Juliet's this week. The food was fantastic, the views are to die for and the mostly-very-young staff did a BRILLIANT job, remaining helpful, friendly and professional despite receiving awful abuse from another table of rude, over-entitled diners to whom I can only say: shame on you. We did have to wait a little while for our meal, but when you're sitting in the evening sunshine, a drink in hand, in great company, with a stunning view of sea, sky, boats and harbour...why on earth would anyone mind?! A member of staff had been unexpectedly called away to a family emergency, but despite this, the rest of the team did a great job. The food was WELL worth waiting for and communication from staff was excellent. The signature fish stew is delicious and excellent veggie options too. 10/10. Bravo! We will of course be back as soon as possible. 🙂

Terrible experience- had to wait nearly 2 hours. Staff badly trained. Had to wait an hour before the order was taken. Was told they were a chef down. Should have told us it would be 1.5 hrs. Others around us had the same delays. Offered free wine- and a discount. Would have preferred to have been told the length of delays and gone elsewhere. Awful experience- never going back. The owners are responsible and need to sort out decent management. Food was distinctly average.

I had the pleasure of eating at Juliets Garden last night (28/6/24). From the first moment I stepped through the door the customer service was good. When I was shown to my table as a lone traveller, a magical moment happened. I had been given the best table in the room, with stunning views. This is the first time this has happened during my 8 years traveling solo. The team at Juliets Garden gave me the same amazing service as the couples and families in the restaurant . I had the asparagus with poached egg with grapefruit hollandaise, the asparagus had the right amount of crunch and the flavours worked well together. For the main I had the lobster, my fave seafood which was a good portion and was delish. To the team at Juliets Garden, thank you for shaking up the rule book and prioritising a solo traveller, as the saying goes nobody puts baby in the corner'

Tonight's meal was due to be the last dinner out for our family holiday. We had saved the venue till our last evening out and were expecting special food, especially considering the prices. The first issue was an aubergine burger priced at over £16. When it came it was literally a slice of aubergine fried with crumbs, served with ordinary fries and a small salad. We did return this and the replacement, which was an alternative dish was acceptable. We also ordered a red Thai Seafood curry. As I am gluten free I was offered fries rather than the couscous ( couscous?) When it arrived it actually looked like a tomato soup with Seafood. I asked to send it back too but my family were finding the whole situation embarrassing, so I kept it and was disappointed as I knew I would be from the first look of it. It tasted like tinned soup and I was charged £23.50 for this pitiful dish. (I'm ashamed to say I payed for it ,as my family were becoming stressed with the situation.) These prices may seem reasonable to some people, but for us it was expensive and supposed to be a highlight meal for our holiday. I am looking for a helpful response from Juliet.

Big, big, larger than big, thank you for the lovely short but very enjoyable stops off at this great place. The walk from where we were staying "Aldersyde" in St. Mary's was past three beautiful beaches where the path was bristling with gorgeous flowers, plants, birdlife and sea views not to be missed. Once we got there we put in our standard order of two glasses of Champagne accompanied by one Jumbleberry Sundae for myself as my wife favours cheese. All of the staff were attentive, friendly, quick and very smiley. We came here on a recommendation and we in turn reccomended the place to other people, one of whom took our advice and pushed the sales of said Champagne up. The seating outside was plentiful but on all our visits we opted for a table indoors with beautiful views. On our weeks holiday we came here four times and it would have been more apart from being restricted by trips to the other islands. So big (again, I know) thank you to everyone for making our visits so wonderful.
