the people are so sweet and helped us to make a choice from the menu. There is so much to try and everything was so well seasoned. It was delicious :)

Uno de nosotros ya había probado la cocina eritrea, así que nos pareció interesante ir a cenar aquí. No fue una gran experiencia no tanto por la comida (a pesar de que la carne picada era demasiado picante) , sino por... todo lo demás. Partiendo de un menú que reúne cocina eritrea y más o menos probable italiana. Descuido y olvido, medio ambiente bastante deprimente, ni siquiera muy limpio, pero al final la factura ciertamente no es barata.

This place is really good for catching up with friends for lunch whilst having some quality vegan nosh! The owners are really welcoming and friendly. It has a chic and stylish feel with some inventive but subtle decor. I have been tempted to paint my house in a similar style! Coffee is top notch, with a extensive range of non-dairy milks. I had an open box sandwich which was so full they wouldn't have been able to close it if they wanted! The food itself is civilised and complex in taste. No boring floppy sandwiches here. Thoroughly recommended for an advanced palette of tastes and aesthetics.

Had the best lunch here today. Delicious food (we went for the main menu items but the lunch deal looks so good!), banging vibes and such attentive service!! And extra bonus for those that can’t eat gluten - the menu says which items are gf AND they have gf pasta - winner!! Full recommend!

The best kimchi and ramen I’ve had. Rich sauce, caters to vegetarians. Great service and great atmosphere.

15.04.25 Disappointing experience and only made worse with the attitude of staff and even the owner who I spoke with before leaving, even if he did seem uninterested in my feedback. Problem was my family and I had had a long day walking and sightseeing in Bristol but didn't realise places close earlier here (arrived about 8pm left by 9pm)... walked about 20 mins from our hotel and thought it would be a nice place to eat. Passing places my husband had suggested... 😬 Anyway, one member hosting, taking orders and serving. Wasn't forthcoming with advice what to eat and drink... sounded/acted like a person who had done a 12 shift and didn't want to be there... sooo not interested. Looked at the menu and it was rubbish for a vegetarian (me not husband/daughter) so questioned her and got drivel back. Told this is the menu no changes can be made. I asked if the gnocchi could come Plain without the rabbit and just some butter, salt and pepper and veg if they had some for my 10 yo... was told no this can't be done. Totally crap attitude. It's annoying me just remembering the whole evening. 😤 Basically, everything I asked for was met with "computer says no' attitude. Manager feedback- I was told to look on IG for their latest menu... I'm not sad enough to have my life revolve Instagram, so I went by the Google review (used its map) and menu posted (perhaps if owners could update then it would save PAYING customers the inconvenience of coming here). Food looks like slop and didn't taste much better! £100 down the drain 😡 Feel robbed! I told the manager I understand this industry but no proper acknowledgement of what I had said. I asked why if he promotes freshly made and cooked food, then why couldn't they just boil gnocchi, add butter/olive oil, salt and pepper and some vegetables. To which he said we don't have spare vegetables!!! 🤔 🙄 So I said you have aubergine and tomatoes on the menu, couldn't you cut one up and add that and the Manager said we don't keep spare tomatoes!!! Oh my goodness, at this point I gave up the will to live and went to join my family who had left already. I can only be honest on my experience and give 1 star so I can post my comment. Would never go back, would Never recommend. Look at the pics, you'll understand.

We found this café by following its high reviews on Google, and we weren’t disappointed! Finally, a place with great coffee that works perfectly with milk alternatives. The avocado toast was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before—absolutely incredible. The bread they use is amazing, adding to the whole experience. On top of that, the staff was friendly and polite. Highly recommend!

I live nearby and recently stopped by Daily Bite for a light lunch. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by extremely kind staff and a very welcoming atmosphere. The food selection is fantastic, with plenty of options to choose from — and everything is packed with flavor! I enjoyed a delicious sandwich that was not only tasty but also very filling. I will definitely be coming back for more! Thank you to the Daily Bite team for a great experience!

The Packhorse is a lovely pub with a welcoming atmosphere, friendly locals, and polite staff. I played free pool on Tuesday with the bar lady’s son (I believe I heard “mom”), who was also very polite, adding to the great experience. The drinks are well-priced, making it an excellent spot for a relaxed night out. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Bristol.
