The best restaurants in Lawrence Hill Bristol, City of South West

I provided 3 days of short notice and requested 24 Australia themed red velvet cupcakes. The decoration was exactly what I wanted, edible and everyone loved them. Thank you to deocraft cakes for helping me!

Food is great, I don't enjoy the feeling of constantly being rushed here. It's not our fault your place is too small to host the number of covers you need to turn a profit. Booked 2 weeks in advance and the waitress initially made us feel like a nuisance. Will return, but not in a hurry. Too cramped and noisy by virtue of being very popular (which is great) and small. Hope they upgrade to a bigger building soon. Plenty of empty ones nearby.

Bar man very friendly and knowledgeable. Had a couple of delicious cocktails, £9 each, which is good value.

A quiet authentic hand-pulled noodle restaurant off the beat but well worth a visit. Delicious chewy noodles made fresh on site, with a wide range of topping options. I had the beef noodle soup with thick noodles, and paid another £2 for extra greens. The soup is super garlicky and fragrant, the noodles were perfect, and the beef and veg tasty and tender. I also added a dollop of chilli oil to up the spice. Even the small size option was a huge amount of food! I'll definitely be back for lunch again. Chicken nice and tender However the soup of the ramen is way too salty, you should be able to drink them after having the noodles, but it is not possible here. The saltiness just overpowered all the other flavors. Someone needs to taste the food before sending it out.

A very nice place to get breakfast with a unique menu and style. Fantastic mushrooms 👀 and very strong coffee. Good vibes and atmosphere for sitting and enjoying some time. Hash browns are insane!

Chickpea focaccia was really good. Great olives, good service.

Great pub, it's got lots of character, friendly staff, great choices in local beers and ciders and there's almost always live music. I can't rate the food as I'm yet to try it but have heard good things.

Pop in for Sunday lunch but you’ve gotta be quick or phone in advance as it’s well in demand. Great service and atmosphere.

Didn't know this place existed! Stumbled across it as we walked back from Wake The Tiger and it was a highlight of our Bristol trip. Beers in the sunshine? Winning 😄 Great selection on tap, friendly guy serving and amazing music. What a find!
