the people are so sweet and helped us to make a choice from the menu. There is so much to try and everything was so well seasoned. It was delicious :)

La comida aquí era completamente sensacional - y el servicio cálido y auténtico. Nos sentimos muy atendidos y que estábamos comiendo cocina casera. Teníamos la carne del restaurante especial para dos - fenomenal. El esponjoso y sabroso pan tradicional absorbió los sabores distintivos de la carne - picante, picante y totalmente sabroso. Nos encantó la tradición de comer con las manos, cómo mi padre pakistaní comía chapati cuando yo era pequeño. La bebida de mango era natural - refrescante y sin azúcar añadido. Nos encantó la decoración hogareña - las pinturas muestran cómo la familia y los niños están en el centro de la vida en Etiopía / Eritrea y cómo compartir la comida significa comunidad - tristemente desaparecido de gran parte de la fragmentada vida británica en estos días con la gente en sus teléfonos y los jóvenes separados culturalmente de los adultos. Pero firmemente en el espíritu de Zara y de los que la dirigen. Excelente lugar - mucho mejor que varios restaurantes con bomba de Google que hemos probado en Bristol. ¡Gracias!

undoubtanly the best breakfast that I've had in years, excellent quality and quantity, you'd best be hungry to have the large!! Good service, polite and curtious, overall a pleasant experience

This place is really good for catching up with friends for lunch whilst having some quality vegan nosh! The owners are really welcoming and friendly. It has a chic and stylish feel with some inventive but subtle decor. I have been tempted to paint my house in a similar style! Coffee is top notch, with a extensive range of non-dairy milks. I had an open box sandwich which was so full they wouldn't have been able to close it if they wanted! The food itself is civilised and complex in taste. No boring floppy sandwiches here. Thoroughly recommended for an advanced palette of tastes and aesthetics.

Reservamos una mesa para la cena ya que tuvimos un concierto de música en el lugar de intercambio enfrente. Ocupado el viernes por la noche. Señora sirviéndonos fue fabuloso. Ella tomó en serio mis alergias alimentarias, fue informativa, servicial y alegre. Recomiendo los pasteles de pescado estilo tailandés, los fish & chips y el pollo 🍔 Volveremos cuando vuelva. En la zona. 😊

Had the best lunch here today. Delicious food (we went for the main menu items but the lunch deal looks so good!), banging vibes and such attentive service!! And extra bonus for those that can’t eat gluten - the menu says which items are gf AND they have gf pasta - winner!! Full recommend!

First night under new management. Friendly, relaxed service, good food and the jebena coffee was out of this world. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Literally the best ramen and eggplant I've ever had. They don't charge for water, and the portions are more than enough.

Delicioso pan tostado de tomate, mozzarella y albahaca, bollo de canela y carne de cerdo en escamas recién hecha y rollo de salchicha marmita para el desayuno. Ocupado como de costumbre, pero espacio para sentarse dentro. Personal amable y un buen espacio buzzy justo debajo de la estación.

I had dinner at Grano yesterday and it was truly a standout experience from start to finish. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, qualified staff and very authentic food. Highly recommended!

We found this café by following its high reviews on Google, and we weren’t disappointed! Finally, a place with great coffee that works perfectly with milk alternatives. The avocado toast was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before—absolutely incredible. The bread they use is amazing, adding to the whole experience. On top of that, the staff was friendly and polite. Highly recommend!

Great little morning stop when you’ve got a spare 5 minutes. Sebo, (perhaps not spelled correctly!), is a delight - friendly and fast service every time!

The Packhorse is a lovely pub with a welcoming atmosphere, friendly locals, and polite staff. I played free pool on Tuesday with the bar lady’s son (I believe I heard “mom”), who was also very polite, adding to the great experience. The drinks are well-priced, making it an excellent spot for a relaxed night out. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Bristol.
