Amazing food and great value friendly too My happy place 😌

It's all about the food. I had the lamb shank and was genuinely blown away. Deliciously spiced and cooked yo perfection. Aromatic rice was perfect, and topped with crispy onion and raisins for a hint of sweetness. Complimentary soup to start. Great job to everyone at Karamel. Until next time.. thankyou ❤️

I can’t emphasis enough how exceptional the food is. Coming from a Somali that ventures out to try new Somali spots all the time. Karmel restaurant is on top with their food quality. From how tender the lamb shank is to the flavour of the rice. I would highly recommend. Can’t wait to bring family and friends here soon!

I recently visited Karamel Café in Bristol, and I can honestly say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were friendly, attentive and clearly passionate about what they do. But the real highlight? The food—absolutely spectacular! Every dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and made with high-quality ingredients. You can tell a lot of care goes into the preparation and it truly shows in every bite. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, brunch or a sweet treat, Karamel Café is a must-visit.

came here for iftar, my first time visiting. great food, and such friendly service and hospitality. everyone was very welcoming. amazing value for money, the lamb curry was excellent. we will be back soon.

A fantastic restaurant, fairly close to central Bristol and definitely worth the extra effort to get to. Staff were very friendly and welcoming for a couple first timers to the area, and the restaurant had a very casual workers cafe feel. Expect a free bowl of soup as soon as you walk in, we weren't given a menu, instead one of the servers came and told us what was on offer. The food was amazing, the rice was well seasoned and very fragrant, and the meat was even better. The lamb shank was fall off the bone tender, and the beef steak was incredibly flavourful For a meat platter for 2 people with rice, it was only £24 and that was with a few extra pieces given to us by the very generous chef. If you live in Bristol and you've never tried Somalian food, you've got to give this place a try, and if your visiting from out of town and want to try something a little more local then I couldn't reccomend this enough. Impress your friends by recommending this spot for the next time their down for a visit.

Amazing spot! The serving staff were friendly and the café has a great atmosphere. The food came out quickly, the portions were very generous and the meat was so tender it fell off the bone. Would eat here again in a heartbeat

There’s absolutely nothing negative to say! First of all, the lady behind the counter who greeted us was the most welcoming and hospitable human being ever! The food is absolutely fantastic. We arrived little late so options are limited. The lamb curry that we had was phenomenal and full of flavour. I’ll try the signature lamb shank with spaghetti next time!

Absolutely brilliant early morning breakfast of foul beans and injera bread and lovely tea and friendly customer service. Highly recommended.

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing setting

10/10 highly recommnend this place. The chicken curry and beef steak were so succulent and yummy. Honeslty hands down the best chicken curry I have had in a long time. Everyone was super friendly including the chef who came out to check on our table, and just a really joyful experience! Going back again this weekend🙌
