The best restaurants in Hengrove Bristol, City of South West

Don’t think much of the veggie breakfast the sausages weren’t cooked enough for me. Everything else was nice esp the coffee!

BG is not exactly my local Indian restaurant and takeaway, in fact its a 25 minute drive, but in my opinion it's one of, if not the, best in Bristol. And for me it's down to the food - always beautifully cooked and the house specials offer something new to try. And you get decent sized portions too, which is very important! Go ahead and try it - you won't be disappointed. And you can take your own booze with no corkage!

Great food at Paprika. Good value, meals are big lovely staff, very helpful, a fab atmosphere as well. Would recommend.

Has always been incredible, never dropped their standards, and the new decor has made it look even better than it did before. Would not change a thing, three of us chose three different main dishes and none of us wanted to share with the others - that should tell you how good the food is!

Absolutely lovely food very fresh full of flavour will order again first time having a Indian which wasn’t homemade but this was just as good

Clean shop good food always busy so prepare to wait or order by phone if you want a quicker service 👍🙂

We had a wonderful dinner at The Swan. The food and service was excellent, and our server Harry was absolutely lovely. He handled 12 different orders perfectly!! The location is beautiful with stunning walks and bridle paths all around. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Thank you!

You can get a bus from close by to get to central, but it's around 20 minutes. Location used to have more but are now closed down; least there's a maccies close by!

Order item on website is very different to what gets confirmed. no wings, no beans, one chips. No phone to get in contact with takeaway. Very dodgy and will not order again.

Visited here as was visiting family near by, faye on reception was very helpfull very cheerful and nothing was to much problem for her, nice fresh food and gteat on the price :) great service will defo be back
