I have been to the Temple Inn on many occasions since it first reopened many years ago & can safely say that under the rule of Adam & Lee, it is a truly wonderful place. The staff are very welcoming. Big smiles & always happy to help. The drink selection is diverse & covers all tastes. The food is amazing & definitely back to its best after losing the chef who followed Adam & Lee from London. Great portions, great value... & great taste!!!! I had fish (which was huge, & not padded out by batter as you see in some places) & chips (to die for) & my partner had a spicy burger (can't recall the official name of it); & whilst my partner is typically hard to please, she ravished the lot in high praise. The pub is like a funky local & you will not meet a warmer place to either have a drink or a meal. I would highly recommend The Temple Inn!

Great pub, only dropped in to meet a friend, all seemed very friendly and welcoming, a locals pub that is open to all so great! Looked like there was a good selection of beer plenty of soft drinks, easy parking so good meeting spot! Great find.

We came to do the Santa experience which was dire. Came to the cafe first and it was so unorganised. People on the tills no clue what they were doing , not giving people order numbers, taking ages to take orders. Chips were a large portion when they eventually arrived. Crammed space to eat with uncomfortable chairs. Dread to think what a roast would be like though.

Called in to the Stable Tea rooms for a tea/ coffee. We also ordered a bowl of soup for each of us . To say it was tasty and hot was an under statement. The soup it's self was split pea. Sweet potatoe and carrot. It was very tasty thick and very hot ,served with white bagett . The tea rooms are clean, fresh, and very tidy. The staff were very friendly and we'll visit again to try their ploughman's lunch.
