stayed while away for business in the area. Arrived to the very impressive house itself & the setting is great. Plenty of great views & countryside. Room 304 I had was perfect. Clean, great size and a very comfy bed. Had dinner in the onsite bar which was very good. Burger was SUPER thicc & juicy, then finished with the brownie which was good but a little on the small side for £9. Had a great nights sleep & breakfast was okay. Overall, a great stay.

Took my partner for a weekend away for her 60th chose this hotel because I wanted her to have dinner in the Cloisters restaurant but Heyho we ended up having both meals in the conservatory attached to the bar. Very disappointed Staff fantastic but also seemed sad that the management have decided to close this restaurant for ordinary guests and use it for weddings and special functions. We had our room in a newer nearby complex and also had breakfast in this complex so didn’t seem to get much out of the stunning building. We won’t be going back sadly and will stay nearer to the city centre next time. Sadly it took the edge off our enjoyment so message to management YOU GOT IT WRONG G&M

food was really tasty. Though the build your own breakfast bap doesn't say when you choose bacon, it's 1 rasher, and they could have cut the sausage in half so it is more spread out in the bap rather than only in half of it. the hash brown was so tasty!

This location is absolutely stunning with a lovely beer garden and incredible views. However overall, we just did not have a good experience here. The service time was very long even though the place was practically empty and the food was lacklustre. It’s a real shame as it has so much potential.

You can not dine in it's a takeaway only it's quite expensive like all takeaways if you want something nice

What an awful experience. We simply came to enjoy an early evening drink in the sunshine. When my husband politely asked what the difference was between two beers we were told to leave. The barman was so rude and unfriendly and gave no explanation other than saying my husband had been in recently and asked too many questions. He last went over six months ago. He obviously had the wrong person. I was told that if I was with him I had to leave too. No explanation. Safe to say we will NEVER go back.

Dios mío, ¿por qué todas las malas críticas? Esto es perfecto. Me encanta la comida estilo fumadero, pero odio el sabor a humo. Me da dolor de cabeza. Esto no hizo eso. No hay sabor intenso ahumado para enmascarar el sabor de la carne. Todos ustedes, imo, están enganchados a voltear salsa de barbacoa a través de wazoo. La salsa barbacoa tiene su momento y lugar, ¿de acuerdo? Pero esto no necesitó que la salsa se abofeteara por todos lados. Su cocina es maravillosa, los tamaños de las porciones son increíbles, todo era jugoso y sabroso sin necesidad de pilas y pilas de salsa de barbacoa. Este lugar es genial si simplemente anhelas un poco de carne bien cocinada, bien condimentada y, en el caso de las costillas - bien salsada. Les ruego a todos que vean la gloria que es la carne bien cocida. La salsa barbacoa no es un condimento. Esto es mejor que eso. Veo que hay una opción de foto, y lamento muchísimo no haber tomado fotos de esta increíble extensión de carne, papas fritas, alitas de pollo, hamburguesas, papas fritas, maíz en la mazorca, aros de cebolla, oh Dios mío y las costillas. Te contaré un pequeño secreto. Me lo entregaron en UberEats, y déjame decirte que fue como una búsqueda del tesoro de un amante de la comida. Estriando a través de las bolsas para encontrar la próxima delicia. "Encontré un poco de maíz, increíble" a "Oh enfermo, tengo el cerdo tirado. " Cuando abrí las costillas, jadeé. Qué hermoso estante de costillas. La salsa en eso fue absolutamente espectacular. Definitivamente detecté matices de tomate en la salsa, lo que la hizo significativamente más paletizable que las costillas empapadas en salsa de barbacoa recta. En general, esta fue una experiencia increíble para mis papilas gustativas y mi vientre - el tamaño de las porciones fue increíble.
