The best restaurants in Lambridge Bath and North East Somerset South West

Cloisters is set in a lovely environment, in an airy but cosy room with pretty stone walls. The food was quite good, the flavours were excellent and skillful cooking techniques are used. For me, a few small details could have been improved, such as simply toasting the brioche that paired with the pate, and adding tenderstem broccoli to fit the dish's aesthetic. The service was professional. I would have liked to know the grape of the wine being offered though, as I ended up have a mixture of two reds at one point. I'd like to add that they did very well to accommodate a large group of us on short notice! Overall it was a good experience and recommended, but for the price I'd expect slightly more attention to detail.

Exceptional service, beautiful hotel in a great location. Rooms a little dated but very clean and spacious. I really can’t emphasis enough how fabulous the service was at Bailbrook House. Gems on reception was so warm, friendly, and attentive and all of the staff from those at breakfast to the gentlemen who brought us room service on multiple occasions were just fantastic. We visited as part of a larger group for a birthday party nearby and nothing was too much trouble. The staff even found some cufflinks for one of the guests who had forgotten his! Breakfast was great, as was the room service and cocktails. Such a reasonable price too at £220 for 2 nights during a busy weekend. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back, and are considering visiting other hotels within the Handpicked chain because of how good this experience was!

Cracking pub! Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and a Guinness so good it might just convince you that you’re in Dublin. If pints could get Michelin stars, this one would be at least a two-star Guinness experience. Highly recommend!

Llevó a mi pareja un fin de semana fuera por ella 60 años eligió este hotel porque quería que cenara en el restaurante Cloisters pero Heyho terminamos teniendo ambas comidas en el conservatorio adjunto al bar. Muy decepcionado El personal fantástico, pero también parecía triste que la dirección ha decidido cerrar este restaurante para los huéspedes comunes y utilizarlo para bodas y funciones especiales. Tuvimos nuestra habitación en un complejo cercano más nuevo y también desayunamos en este complejo, así que no parecía sacar mucho provecho del impresionante edificio. No volveremos tristemente y nos alojaremos más cerca del centro de la ciudad la próxima vez. Lamentablemente, quitó el límite de nuestro disfrute, así que mensaje a la gerencia G&M

Beautiful Christmas dinner. Food excellent, great vegetarian choices. Very friendly and efficient staff.

It's a social club not a pub don't do any food only crisps and nuts good selection of drinks they have a games room up stairs and a skittle alley downstairs membership only

First time posting a review for a Cafe, this place deserved the effort! I have driven past Alice Park so many times. Finally decided to walk the dog there. Great little park with something for everyone. Alice Park Cafe was a great conclusion to my stay. Coffee at places like this are so often disappointing, but NOT here. Nothing too intense or too weak, and definitely not bitter (unlike the Seattle coffee) but a simply flavoursome crema and well frothed milk. Great choices for a proper cafe style breakfast. I had the Alice Your Breakfast Bap - needed to avoid bacon & sausage (already had my occasional food this week), so had mix of egg, mushrooms, cheese and corn fritter from the ‘Choose 4’ list. Very happy with the result! Will definitely return on my next morning trip to Bath!

This location is absolutely stunning with a lovely beer garden and incredible views. However overall, we just did not have a good experience here. The service time was very long even though the place was practically empty and the food was lacklustre. It’s a real shame as it has so much potential.

What an awful experience. We simply came to enjoy an early evening drink in the sunshine. When my husband politely asked what the difference was between two beers we were told to leave. The barman was so rude and unfriendly and gave no explanation other than saying my husband had been in recently and asked too many questions. He last went over six months ago. He obviously had the wrong person. I was told that if I was with him I had to leave too. No explanation. Safe to say we will NEVER go back.

Muy buena comida. El servicio fue excelente. Música increíble. Recomiendo encarecidamente si estás en Bath y quieres tomar buenas barbacoas o alimentos a la parrilla.
