Long delays collecting an online food order, arrived at the prescribed time to collect, then had to wait another 40+ mins. Continually told it'll be "5 minutes", good good but nit worth the wait.
Segunda semana consecutiva que he estado y he salido feliz. Gran producto y servicio y a pesar de varias personas en la tienda recibí toda la ayuda que necesitaba.
Y estoy feliz con las salchichas que compré para nuestra cena.
Very nice café with some unfair or incorrect/inappropriate reviews. I have recently moved to the area and really enjoy my coffee and scones at Corros. The owner always give visitors a warm welcome, the staff are nice. The decor is very stylish and the staff have a uniform dress code. The coffee is excellent. I read two ‘never again’ type reviews and found them a bit unfair, incorrect and inappropriate? One Lady really hammered the place. She said she went with friends and her 19month old who she sat on a spare table to play with cars. How did she know it was a spare table? I am assuming that her friends came alone without children? If they did not then they could be quite a large and noisy group?Corro’s is a nice escape but not a big place so a large group with kids may be better looking elsewhere and I hope they did. Another review said something about soy and it being provided by the cafe in a bad way on three visits? It doesn’t say if she/he brought this up at any stage.IMHO and experience,if you are not happy isn’t it best to address the issues with the staff as you go?If you are still unhappy then you can ask to speak to management. This would help you and the café? I am a satisfied regular and not affiliated with the business or TA. I would like to say that customers can feel confident that Corro’s team is friendly, professional and approachable.

Tried this restaurant on Saturday (29/03/25), got a takeaway based on recommendations from friends and family. The burgers were absolutely delicious - but my partner and myself ended up with severe food poisoning - to the extent today evening (01/04) is the first time I’ve been able to keep food in without throwing up - that too chicken broth soup.
Idk what went wrong, but I did see them remove and place the chicken fillets on the grill from a storage under the grilling unit- so I don’t know if the chicken was bad, it didn’t taste off with the sauce and other additions in the burger. Unfortunately, due to this experience though the burgers were delicious, I will not be visiting again
Lovely atmosphere, good music and food was excellent. We tried the Amritsari Kulcha which was delicious and really filling. My parents also tried the paneer tikka masala, aloo gobi and tarka dahl with garlic naan. Portion sizes were really good and quite filling. Balwinder and Gurpreet served us and were great, smiles on faces and were so friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to all friends and family. 10/10 all the way!
When we arrived the restaurant was empty and very cold was thinking of leaving but glad we didn’t
Food was excellent no issues with any dish we all throughly enjoyed it
We chose The Cosy Tea Rooms to hold the wake after a friend's funeral at the nearby St Mary's church. Sharon was extremely helpful from the start, guiding us as to what menu would be suitable and made the whole process stress free. Everything was really delicious on the day, so fresh ( especially the cakes!!) and we all had a lovely time chatting together about our late friend while tucking in. We recommend The Cosy Tea Room on any occasion and thank them for a super wake.
Wonderful lunch here. A great little gem in a lovely location. Very friendly service and food was unreal. We ordered one of everything (it’s quite a small menu) and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Nachos and salsa was super fresh and the quesadilla and fish taco were unreal.
The margaritas were also amazing!
The place is pretty small and I imagine cold get busy but can’t recommend enough!
