Great food, great staff, great chef. Thanks from myself and the Japanese u16s FC. Felt comfortable and well looked after both times.

We were looking for a place to eat near the hotel we stayed after a day in Legoland. This place is very close to the hotel and it has brilliant reviews from trip advisor so we went. When we turn up at 7pm without a reservation, they inform us there would be a table available at 8pm. As we all really want some Japanese food we decided to come back for the table. A table finally available. We were so hungry that we order the food immediately. However, we have been waiting for like an hour for the food. We have young children with us. We have been asking water several times and it had been ignored. We have a toddler in our group who is very sensitive to black pepper so we specifically ask to not put black pepper in her food. This request had been ignored and when we serve the food to the toddler, she was crying her eyeballs out!!! When we informed the server, there is no apologies from her. The sever was not accommodating for the whole process. At the end of the meal the bill came and they put a service charge at the bill. We asked to remove the service charge, and they did not even bother to ask why we want to remove it. Awful! Awful! Awful!

Very nice restaurant with great food and friendly staff. Can recommend it also if you travel with kids, as they serve much more delicious food then just sushi, sashimi.

This is a casual and contemporary restaurant. Doesn’t look much from the outside but don’t judge a book by it’s cover and all that! The staff were really friendly- although the restaurant was quite busy, food was served promptly and tasted amazing! A good find and would recommend. We certainly weren’t disappointed

I am from Singapore and moved to the area just last year. This is the only decent Asian/sushi restaurant in Buckinghamshire! I come here 2-3 times a week for lunch. I would come everyday if my boyfriend wasn’t English! They updated their menu recently. Only have one downside….they DONT do udon in soup …but everything else is lovely.

I was staying in a hotel 2 seconds away I came across this restaurant on Google and thought I would give it a try as I love Sushi. It was absolutely beautiful I honestly don't think I have had sushi as French as this. I also has the tempura king prawns they were amazing so fresh.

I absolutely loved the food and the staff were very nice and helpful. I would recommend this to everyone and my favourite dish is the beef teriyaki don. Also get the miso soup and edamame beans to start! If you are looking for dinner in slough - definitely come here! 😊

We visited this wonderful restaurant last night for a yummy sushi dinner and experienced the most hospitable and friendly service. When the food arrived I was blown away by the delicate and perfected presentation. The food was absolutely delicious and you could really appreciate the Japanese authenticity. Mori’s Japanese is the best Japanese takeaway service around. I’ve never had a better katsu curry anywhere as well as appetisers and sushi. Always incredible, would rate 11/10 if it was possible 😊

This was our second time in here and I can tell this place is in our top places we have ever been to. The food here is amazing. I am so glad we found this place last time when we stayed at Marriott which is next door and we needed to come back again:) I had the Tiger prawn with home made spicy sauce and some extra noodle both times. My husband had chicken katsu curry last time and vegetable katsu curry this time. We loved everything. Staff were super friendly. Everyone was really nice. We will definitely come back again. Unfortunately we live far. Wish we had this place closer to us. Cannot wait to come back again. 💓🍽

Disappointing experience this evening, which makes me sad as the food is excellent. Opening hours are until 11:00 so a booking at 8 pm did not seem unreasonable. We were shown to a table at the back and told if we did not like it we could ask to move. It seemed fine so we sat down - but it did give me a view of the storage area and a fridge or freezer (not sure which) and some tables behind a white louvered room divider. Later we were to see no fewer than three staff members sit down to eat their own meals there - one then got ready to leave and wheeled her bicycle right past us and through the main entrance to the restaurant. It was 9:00 pm - and we were just one of only 1 or 2 tables occupied by then. Why did you not sit us at the front in the first place to help attract more custom in - rather than give us such immediate access to the staff quarters? And, how is the bicycle allowed to be wheeled through the restaurant like that? Had the floor been cleaned since it was wheeled in? Most appalling of all was the staff conversation across the servery l, immediately to my right - this was 9th September (my birthday) and the discussion was about how the number of customers should grow as a result of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II passing, just the day before. “You wait until the Windsor lot come in” and “a great day to be a florist”. For us. the joy of a Japanese meal includes quiet, respectful nature of the service …. Like I said at the start - disappointing. On balance, our excellent evening turned out to be average at best.

Upmarket. A little expensive but totally worth it for the delicious food. More Mori’s please! Never fails to be yummy.

As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted with a shout of “Irasshaimase!” from the kitchen. Excellent, friendly service from start to finish. We ordered a good range of food – gyoza, sushi, sashimi, tempura, katsu and desserts – and everything was delicious. A number of excellent points about the service. There was a large party of diners this evening, and we were warned that some of our dishes might take a while. (But no, everything we ordered appeared promptly.) I like to take my Hello Kitty chopsticks wherever I go (I know, it’s not normal behaviour!😆), and this was spotted quickly – the restaurant’s chopsticks were cleared away so I could use their chopstick stand. One of the dessert options was unavailable and had been substituted – we were told about this as soon as the dessert menus were brought out. So often, the first time a diner finds out something is unavailable is when they try to order it. We’ll done for letting us know immediately! I wish I lived nearer – this would certainly be my favourite restaurant if I was a local. As it is, I know where we’ll be eating next time we’re in Slough!

When you arrive at the restaurant you get a take away vibe and the interior is not wow but the food OMG AMAZING!!! You can taste the quality of the ingredients! This is a hidden gem! The sides are a bit expensive in my opinion...

Thanks all at Morí Japanese for the best sushi/Japanese food ever. The soft shell crab and sashimi are ‘melt in your mouth’ delicious as are all the other dishes I’ve tried. Highly recommend to anybody whose not tried it. You won’t be disappointed

The food is great but restaurant was cold so myself and family (3 kids) all had to sit with our coats on. When I mentioned it to one of the waitresses, she was very rude. Not sure I will go back.

Just happened to pass here on visit to legoland and so glad we did, food was outstanding (we often eat Japanese). Spicy tuna rolls were awesome and the karage was beautiful. My 12 year old said he wants to move to slough to be closer...

Main vegetable within the dish was broccoli..tasted as if it was defrosted and "heated" Asked for extra chili for a kick which they did do but not much of a difference for food where it appears cost savings had to be made during lockdown

Visited Mori for a lonesome lunch.After looking at the menu I decided on getting the Takoyaki for starters then a Tori Teriyaki Don for mains, as the chicken was halal.Unfortunately, much to my chagrin, the starters were served and almost 10 seconds later the mains were served so I had to scoff down my piping hot starters so that I could get to my mains before it got cold.

My wife and turned up thinking we had a table booked. We did not our friend had not booked it! How ever we were made to feel welcome and ur friend who’s birthday t was turned up late. One of our friends has serious food allergies. The restaurant went out of its way to help. I had potato croquets for starters lovely. Everyone had a lovely time and the prices were very reasonable. This is a good offering in Slough if you want to avoid the ubiquitous Indian options. It offers a good selection of courses. I thought that the starters were more exciting than the mains. If I went back again I would probably choose 2-3 starters instead of a main. I also thought that the size of the main dishes was on the small size. Service is fast and servers polite and on the night we visited efficient.

One of our most favorite restaurant. They serve heavenly, amazing, delicious food. It is always freshly prepared. Just the perfect blend of spices, not too spicy, not too bland. I would highly recommend the followings from their menu: chicken gyoza, veggies gyoza, chicken karaage, chicken katsu curry, veg katsu curry, vegetable udon noodles. The creamy garlic sauce and pickled ginger are also must-have accompaniments.

Visited for lunch yesterday and will definitely be going back! The food was great, and a good price. The waitress was lovely and the perfect amount of attentive.

OMG! Food heaven here! It’s a must try if you are in town. I had the ramen special and it was beautiful. They’ve Wagu on the menu if you fancy a special treat. Will return when I’m back in town

Just popped in for a quick lunch as have heard great things about this place. It definitely gets the thumbs up from me and I eat a lot of sushi. Had the Salmon Teriyaki Maki which was delicious. The miso soup was very good too. Great, friendly service. Look forward to returning for dinner. Highly recommend.

I visited this restaurant with some work colleagues whilst on a business trip. We werent expecting a lot but this restaurant was amazing. Great starters, mains, atmosphere and service. The unfiltered sake was also really good. I rarely write reviews but had to for this restaurant as my colleagues and I really enjoyed our evening and believe the restaurant deserved this review. I will recommend to anyone in the area!

We went here to avoid cooking at home. When we were at the door, staff are very friendly and accomodating. Thhey serve love ly food and desserts. Amazing. We will be coming back for sure.

I came here once on a lunchtime at work and loved it so much! I now bring anyone who visits our office and have ordered takeaway from there many times. The food is the best in the area, so many great options and tastes really fresh and authentic.

Japanese specialities with small portion sizes. Rice was not Asian sticky rice and that made the sushi less enjoyable. Large salmon and tuna sashimi slices, but fairly steep price. Can’t really recommend.

We've been here a couple of times and really enjoy it on every occasion. The special that I had was great, as are the tempura veg and noodles and I can't fault it! Even when I made a mistake with my order (I don't eat fish and ordered something with seafood in) they very happily replaced my meal at no cost. So glad it's in Slough!

Who’d have thought you could have fabulous Japanese Food in Slough? Tasty, Fresh, Fragrant & reasonably priced Japanese at the Mori Japanese Restaurant. Visiting Windsor or Slough; if you fancy Sushi or Miso, this is the place to go. Friendly staff, lovely homely atmosphere.

I’ve tried a few Japanese restaurants in the area now and I was impressed by the quality of the food at Mori. I had a chicken Katsu curry which was perfect for this cold weather. The prices were also excellent. I’ll certainly be back with the family soon.

The food is so flavoursome, I cannot fault it in any way. The restaurant on the inside is so serene which I was not expecting. At first I tried to take away then returned the next day to dine in. We had the salmon don buri, vegetable gyoza, ebi kushyaki, hibachi broccoli, garlic rice and the aromatic salmon teppanyaki. Everything was cooked perfectly and had it's own unique flavour. It is also displayed really nicely. They can offer to cook the food without butter if you are watching your diet. The food is super healthy and really good value for money. I personally prefer it to Wagamama. The people working there are so friendly and warming, it makes it extra special. The restaurant is kept spotless. I will be back soon!!

Guys, seriously... the liquid in the Kikkoman soy sauce bottle is not a Kikkoman sauce but something else. Sashimi: I had 1 piece out of 3 and left the other 2. It smelled fishy and that shouldn't be the case. It was not a pleasure to have it. Unagi was tough and not tasty at all. The ginger was correctly sliced and refreshing. Eventually the staff was very nice and helpful but that's not enough to call it an acceptable sushi spot. I hope that hot dishes are much better than the cold bits.

I was looking for a completely different business in the street but found this gem of a restaurant instead. Unassuming from the outside, inside all is serene and elegant. Staff are very friendly and helpful if you are unsure of what you want to eat. The sashimi is extremely fresh, and the prawn noodle dish we had was divine. If you are feeling adventurous, try the mochi ice cream, delicate, sticky and delicious! We will certainly be regulars from now on.

If you live in taxi or driving distance of Slough and like Japanese food then you MUST try Mori. We love Japanese and have tried restaurants in the West End and Ealing in London, Beaconsfield, Maidenhead and Winchester, as well as abroad, and this amazing little restaurant ranks right up with the best. There is an amazing choice in the menu, the food - which is exceptional quality - is all freshly prepared and expertly cooked to order. We ordered far too much and enjoyed every bite - tempura, sushi, sashimi, teriyaki, teppenyaki - all the facoruites are here. The wine list was good too - not extensive but a good choice at very reasonable prices. There is also a selection of beers including Japanese beers (as you would expect) and of course green tea. Don’t forget to try the tempura vanilla ice cream for dessert! All this in a calming and air conditioned clean and charming environment. They also offer take away and delivery within 2/3 miles. Definitely going back!

Fabulous!! I booked this for family visiting from Canada and UK but hadn’t been before. Some were very used to international sushi, others initially not so keen on the thought of sushi. Mori excelled and everyone is now a sushi fan!! The food was excellent. Great quality and flavour. The staff lovely and I’m so pleased to have found a real gem. We will definitely return!! Exquisite food and great service in a pretty restaurant. I’m no expert on authentic Japanese food but this looked amazing and tasted wonderful. Very special and worth travelling to if you are not local.

Stopping in Slough overnight and needed a place to eat. Found the Mori Sushi Restaurant just a stones throw from where we are staying.

Ate here with my partner and by the best Japanese food in the area. Service and atmosphere was great too.

I popped in for a quick dinner with my family and really enjoyed the food. We ordered a few sushi dishes and some hot food and the sushi was excellent and very fresh. I was surprised as the fish was up to quality like high end London restaurants I have been to.

After my first visit I go there every week. I have never had a complaint about anything. The service the food is consistently brilliant. My only problem is I like my regular food so much I have trouble trying to force myself to experiment with trying new stuff from the extensive menu. I have eaten Japanese all over the world from Auckland to Zurich from Osaka and Stockholm to Rio. It is beautiful fresh authentic Japanese prepared with flare and passion. Definitely go to Mori hungry and knock yourselves out your taste buds will thank you for it. Nothing is too much trouble I love it Thank you so much!

All the food was Fantastic!! The best Japanese food I’ve had in UK!! The ingredients are fresh and the dishes all looks gorgeous!! The environment is very good, even they have group today. It doesn’t feel very loud. My baby sat on the baby chair ate udon Noodle. A lot of officers go there for lunch.

Japanese is my favourite cuisine. I have eaten it all over the world from Rio to Melbourne from Stockholm to Osaka but I have had an extremely hard job finding good authentic Japanese food in the UK. So when I decided to visit Mori it was more out of hope than expectation and only because of the good reviews below.

This is easily the best restaurant in Slough. The food is very nice and the staff are very friendly. The sushi was very nice and main meals (I had a vegetarian katsu curry) were too. I will be coming here regularly. It's very reasonably priced too.

Let's face it - we're in Slough. The high street is filled with tramps and betting shops. People in Slough's idea of fancy is Nandos. So ignore people who say it's overpriced, leave them to the chicken burgers. In a nice town, this is a very good Japanese restaurant, mid-range pricing with friendly staff and at times some of the best hot Japanese dishes and freshly prepared sashimi I've had in my long fat life.

New Japanese Restaurant in Slough, really good food and excellent service. Good choice of Sushi and fish looks really fresh, we loved prawns sashimi and banana spring rolls dessert. We will go back again.

Untrained but very polite staff. The food was okay but the maki did not look professional. This restaurant is presented as a fancier, high street restaurant but the sushi is not better than the UK chains such as Yo! Sushi. The chains also offer much more affordable prices. This restaurant is the only sushi place in Slough and is exploiting that fact. My advice? Go to Windsor and enjoy cheaper and better sushi.

This is my third visit to Mori and it's been amazing every time. Great central location, friendly staff, warm & welcoming, and above all it offers fantastic Japanese food. This time we ordered the unagi nigiri, chicken teriyaki and shiromi shogayaki (white fish with ginger sauce). Everything was fresh, clean and super delicious. Having tried all the restaurants in town this is by far the best. I would urge you to try it!

Japanese food is my favourite. I've eaten a lot of it, in many different places around the world. I speak Japanese, collect Japanese swords, etc. so I know quite a bit about it.

My husband and I dined at Mori on Saturday night and had a really delicious dinner! We ordered sushi, noodles and a chicken katsu curry. All were nicely made and fresh tasting. The sushi was particularly good.

Just had a lovely lunch here. We enjoyed nigri and then prawn noodles and I had a spicy fish with rice. The staff were really lovely and despite us being the only customers there, the ambience was good.
