Costa Coffee in Slough

I visited this place with the intention of redeeming two complimentary beverages, which I had rightfully earned through a previous purchase. However, the female staff member exhibited a noticeable displeasure upon my request for the complimentary beverages. Initially, she attempted to provide me with a small-sized beverage despite my explicit request for a medium-sized one. When I politely corrected her, she responded in an agitated manner, stating that the order had already been processed through the cash register. Despite her reluctance, she eventually prepared a medium-sized beverage, but her demeanor remained notably negative throughout the interaction. In contrast, the male staff member demonstrated exemplary professionalism and courtesy. It would be beneficial to have more employees like him.

Bad treatment and no interest in work

Delicious as expected, but there must be a better way to package a slice of chocolate cake instead of stuffing it in a paper bag - it arrived as mush, with the icing smeared all over the bag!

Generally a nice place to get a coffee. However, the lady standing at the till on this one occasion (4:50pm on 22/01/2024) showed the most disgusted face when I walked in. I was told to wait to order as she sorted the expired foods. And then when i chose my order she acted as if she was doing me a favour by taking my order! I have bought food and coffee here numerous of times and have always received the best service. However, i have been put off by this one staff who was arrogant towards me. I understand that i have walked in just before their closing time. However, not walked in past their closing time What an upsetting experience!

The time changed when he collected the stuff so going by the original time he was late but going by the new time he was on time. But either way I don’t mind as it’s lovely and my drink is still hot, so very happy customer. Thank you

I stopped by for a coffee during a very busy morning period. Despite the massive rush and one bad mannered customer, the barista, Sauget was brilliant and remained polite, friendly and worked so speedily. I was very impressed with the customer service.

Closed at 3.56 on Sunday…. Not happy

Do not trust this restaurant - you order one thing and they send you something else! and you're left to bang heads with just eats to get a refund.

Great place to visit and grab a snack

Went here to get a take away coffee and some treats with my son and daughter. My son is an autistic 3 year old and as he does sometimes he became very distressed and started to have a meltdown. The lovely lady behind the counter saw his distress and leant over the counter and gave him some marshmallows in a cup. This calmed him down straight away and occupied him. I thanked her and explained about his condition- she said whatever we can do to help would you like some more? It was a lovely experience and I wish I had taken the ladies name to thank her, this was at about 12 on 29/05/23. Sorry for the essay but it was a really lovely experience and people aren't always as understanding and I just wanted to say thank you

Driver didn’t know where he was going

Nicely located with super friendly staff, they even know a lot of locals names… so adds a personal touch. Sadly a real lack of food due to a lack of delivery… staff were trying hard to up sell, but without much to offer it was hard, due to a delayed delivery… shame. Staff excellent though, that said my tea was awful, no flavour and bits in it. Awful.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lacking vegan options so I had nothing to eat 😭 Just had an oat chai latte but it was a tad bit too sweet. Shop can get loud at times so not the best coffee shop to hang/ chill.

Just received my Sunday coffee-disgusting, taste like a sour milk mixed with old coffee beans!

Horrible place .Terrible not friendly people . One girl she was new in work and she was the worse .In the beggining she raised her voice for us because she had to wait for my friend to choose something . She looked like she didn t want to work there .We told her twice time what We want and We paid straight and at the end she said that We didn t pay for the cakes . But it was her fault - she didn t listen us because in the meantime she was busy with Different customer (but she didn t finish with us she Just left us when we saying something to her) She was so awfull. For sure We not gonna back to this Costa. I don t understand why people like her are employed . She even didn t say sorry.

The staff at Farnham rd store are very down to Earth and friendly. I always look forward to being served. They deserve an award for the service they provide. To add, my view is; Costa Coffee uses the best Coffee Beans in the UK and they have the most friendly, warm and welcome staff at this particular store.

There was a Somali young girl in there and honestly she was a really down to earth person. Very friendly person and I was served really happy and well. All respects to her SHE DESERVE TO BECOME A MANAGER IN THAT SHOP. ♥️♥️

My food never came. Costa phoned me to inform the driver have left with my order a while ago, wanted to confirm I received it which I didn’t. The employee I spoke to (didn’t get a name) was extremely helpful and went out of her way to try resolve the issues.

My whole order was wrong I ordered a drink and paid over £2 and got sent a muffin and when I tried to call the store there was no answer

Really want to commend the team for their exceptional customer service today, as well as being very accomodating for my daughter who has a dairy allergy. They really went above and beyond to make it a such a pleasant experience.

Coffee and service was definitely not a Costa standard . Girl who served me was wearing headphones and made my coffee in take away cup even that I was drinking in and coffee wasn't hot enough. Cake for my daughter was served in bag aswell. Another girl had really bad attitude . She Was swearing and she looked really unhappy about something. They must have some issues with the orders or customers. I did not enjoy my experience There . I came on Sunday to have lovely afternoon coffee and cake with my little daughter but I felt really uncomfortable and didn't want my little girl to hear the bad language . We left pretty quickly .

Food was cold and I got no whipped cream

Unfortunately this branch is getting worse. Some times there is a very limited choice of food and cakes. Today I ordered what I was told was a gingerbread muffin only to discover it was not, it in fact had raspberry inside.

Ordered for breakfast. Kept changing delivery time so I made and ate my own breakfast before it even arrived.

Forgot to add milk to Americano but that's no hardship, took the time to call & advise that an item was off the menu

Love this Costa so much! Fouz and Erin are absolutely amazing, providing the best customer service and a friendly smile every time I walk in. They both make the atmosphere of the shop so much more inviting, and the coffee is great too!

Place went down hill since Oscar and Anna are not there. Customer service is terrible, I wasn't allowed to go in and check if my husband was there,.and not allowed to sit and wait for him :( never in my life did I feel so unwelcome. Taking into account we used to go there a lot, now... No thanks. Shame they let so many good employees go

Staff are friendly the coffee shop is clean unfortunately one toilet is dirty with no paper the other has a broken lock which has been like this for several weeks.

One of the best locations of costa I've visited. I always order a flatwhie .my thanks to Anna and Oskar for their professional work and greetings even during busy times .

Place has really gone downhill since Sara left. The amount of staff I've seen come and go in a few years shows it can't be a great store to work at. Been so disappointed the last times with the service. Unfriendly and unprofessional taking nearly 10 minutes to make a drink.

Ask for brown sauce - none arrived Also asked for a caramel latte with vitamins - got a normal latte

Absolutely amazing people working here. I live away and ordered a drink and a muffin for my sister's birthday. Gave them a call to ask if they could add a happy birthday message. They have gone and above and beyond to make my sister feel special! They attached a lovely personalised message and even added a sweet treat from themselves! If you guys are reading this, just want you to know she is very happy and grateful 🙏🏻 best wishes!

Superb coffee with Excellent customer service.

Lovely place, I decided I needed a change of scenery for work and decided to pop into the local costas with a friend for breakfast, good service from the barristas, and I was happy with the table space which accommodated my food and also laptop space. I ordered my usual frostino with oat milk, Belgian cookie and a mozzarella and tomato pannini. Will be visiting on a regular basis rather then having to go bath road for costas

Great service from the lady I met there today really attentive and interactive. Considering it was almost 5pm, did not slip on service.

Disapointed as i could not c the board clearly and ask what the new christmas drinks were as i could not get the app up 2 c and ask . I had 2 ask the young ladys a few times what was on offer and i could not hear them very well y there not a list on the table and counter 4 u to read i dont no. Nearly walked out, i brought one in the end wont b back any time soon x

Ordered a toastie and a Frostino. By the time the toastie arrived it was stone cold and no straw put in with the Frostino. Delivery was late! Never ordering from here again

Ana was a great credit to costa , she went above and beyond while i had a rough day, my car broke down i took it to mecanic and went to Costa coffee, thisady provided me with a charger ,very nice coffe and made me feel home, i will definitely come back .. thank you ana 💓

If there are no drivers available, PLEASE make it clear and obvious before customers submit an order! Also, please make it clear if an item is unavailable. I ordered a salted caramel drink successfully then received a (kind and helpful but ultimately disappointing) phone call to say it was out of stock. I didn't even like the other drink I tried out instead, so generally a let down all round (and on my birthday too!)

The delivery driver literally left our food outside the building on the high street. Did not bother coming upstairs to delivery the food. The food was already cold. Don’t understand why I paid delivery charge for this person.

Well what can I say about this place and the staff there... from Manager Artur, Assistant Manager Sara, to Kacie they make my morning trips there on my way to work absolutely fantastic. From the welcoming into the shop, the banter that follows, even adapting to your own type of drink well it goes without saying the is by far the best stop off on any morning I’ve had. I would highly recommend any person stopping off here during the day as you’ll enjoy the experience! Keep up the great customer experience!
