The best restaurants in Bourne End-cum-Hedsor Wycombe South East

Very disappointed today as my sandwich was barely filled by a staff member completely untrained and unsupervised. Chives has been my to go to place until today but I am not prepared to pay £6.90 for a messy and barely filled baguette. I urge you to train your staff on how to make a sandwich before letting them serve your loyal clients otherwise you will lose us!!

This really pains me, as I've been a staunch advocate, and very long time customer (around 15 years) of The Coriander in Bourne End, and Amersham. The takeaway from Bourne End recently was very poor! The chicken tasted as if it'd been frozen, and old. It was very dry and chewy. The nan was very undercooked and almost soggy, with lukewarm rice. The only saving grace was veg samosa. The signs were there, only a couple of tables occupied on a Friday evening, very unusual. I'm afraid I won't be going again.

The two staff on today shouldn’t be put on shift together!! The man was getting angry at the lady, they were not organised or co-operative.

Very hit and miss with this restaurant. I left a review 18 months ago about the poor quality of the dishes being served and sadly they have let themselves down yet again. We ordered a takeaway and the egg fried rice was poor. I do not know what they gave us but it was not egg fried rice. What we received was more like steamed rice thrown into a wok and fried off. Absolutely disgusting no egg and very claggy. The chicken and cashew dish in a yellow bean sauce was cold and no sauce. The two other main dish we had were OK but the amount this establishment charges you, you expect quality and not substandard dishes.

The closest I have ever been able to park to a pub entrance. Lovely old pub, good food, reasonably priced, efficient service, nice atmosphere. Happy to return.

Great food, friendly and helpful people. Excellent and authentic. Fantastic menu and some amazing unusual dishes to try. I tried the Cashew nut chicken - wonderful!

Team is always very friendly and helpful and there's a fantastic range of food and a nice place to sit. It is rare nowadays to find a sandwich place that handmade sandwiches with fresh ingredients and fresh bread and I don't mind paying a bit more for the privilege.

Very friendly locals and staff ... and delicious meals! Looking forward to visiting again the next time I'm in England.

Great addition to the parade. Introductory offers in first few weeks included loaves for 99p! Had brunch with group of lads and baguettes were really good. Well done

Poor quality coffee served here. Unfortunate Bourne End is not gifted when it comes to quality coffee establishment.
