The two staff on today shouldn’t be put on shift together!! The man was getting angry at the lady, they were not organised or co-operative.

Always friendly. Several years of weekly visits and all the staff have been polite and friendly. Great coffee every time.

We were served by Rob today. He has a great sense of humour and is very aware of customer care. A great pleasure to go into Costa at Bourne End. Very helpful staff.

First visit today, and will quite possibly be my last thanks to a very rude member of staff. I was patiently waiting in turn, while what seemed to be very disorganised activity behind the counter, only to potentially missing my turn to be served. The guy went to serve another customer, and when I pointed out that I was next and had been waiting patiently, he said very rudely that the queue went out towards the door. I apologised and said that I wasn't aware as I'd never been there before, and he then insulted me by saying it was obvious! I said it wasn't, and he said its it is. I just stopped the communication as it wasn't going to go anywhere. Well, it was obvious to me that he was very rude, and I told him straight. The other member of staff apologised on his behalf. For reference, the rude guy is the one with long hair with his hair back. He then dumped a coffee down, and the other guy pointed out that it was mine. The guy was obviously ignorant too. Costa, please vet your customer facing staff to make sure that they are suitable.

One of member of staff was rude and asked me to leave after we had purchased food (not cheap). Would not recommend ruined my afternoon.

The man behind the bar was rude and passive aggressive. The tables were not cleaned with crumbs and liquids on them still. Did not enjoy

A basic Costa coffee shop, we had Aaron serving us this morning, and it seems a real hardship, rushing us in ordering and when asked him about the Costa card his voice tone was rude and loud ,being really bothered for asking , like we were meant to know the answer already. Also rushing the new trainee in placing the order in the system, even if there was no one else waiting , making us uncomfortable. Poor customer service

Lovely experience this weekend. Great coffee shop with excellent staff - special thanks to Luigi and Naomi who were always smiling and looked after the place. Other staff I saw working very hard - will be back - Gary and my 2 boys and wife!

It really disheartens me to see dirty tables outside a coffee shop. It annoys me when staff aren't friendly. But it really scares me when the waitress brings your coffee and say, " I think this is the oak milk one". I guess as a lactose intolerant person, I'll just have to wait an see.

Customer service is terrible, not a nice atmosphere and the staff are rude! Went there to have a nice break from work grab a quick drink to go with my snack and I was told to leave because I was eating a Kit Kat how awful!

Typical Costa as far as food and the coffee goes. Friendly staff. It was pretty busy, however the queue moved quite quickly.

The Rewards can’t be used today so no free drink and 30% off food for me and family. Would have been nice to have a sign up on the door to warn everyone. And the people at the counter were quite abrupt about it when asked why discounts not applied.

I know people talk about the coffee chains but this Costa does everything very well, although their god prices are a bit eye watering!

Came in this morning for a mac and cheese got it snatched off me to put in the oven then taking other people’s orders while I’m still standing there then came back to me to pay and they have tried to charge me for mine and a lady’s drink because they aren’t paying attention and are rushing about even through it was slow and there was 2 of us. I’m now waiting for the mac and cheese and as this is happening one server is asking a lady do you want sprinkles and she was older she might have not heard him so he then turned to his colleague to talk about her that I find rude and inattentive I come here a lot and always have a problem with the 2 people that was working today all the other staff are lovely if they clearly don’t like the job why are they still there 😑absolute joke

Located in the parade in Bourne end. This Costa is fairly large, the service is friendly and it is generally a relaxing place to be. There is free parking along the parade opposite, although spaces are limited. A pay car park is available 2 minutes walk away.

Just ordered a wrap and a toasted sandwich the wrap never arrived although I was charged for it. The toasted sandwich was thrown into a large cardboard box. These people are like pigs rip you off and supply low quality hygiene and service. Absolutely disgusting

Costa food seems more cheaply made these days and is certainly heavily processed. The venues and coffees are nice but expensive. The atmosphere in most Costas is relaxed and chilled, with no pressure to leave quickly, and the opportunity to work for good lengths of time, with coffee!

This is the friendliest, most efficient Costa anywhere. The team are just fabulous, friendly, helpful and a great example of a team working together. Thoroughly recommend.

Bit of a sad branch this one at Tesco. Service was slow and it's a bit understaffed.

Nice shop in bourne end until school kids came in, about 6 of them (only 2 brought something) being loud so couldn't have conversation

At £3.15 i do expect a perfect Flat White, nice and velvety with a creamy finish. If I want hot milk poured into my coffee I can ask for a latte or boil a pan of milk at home. I asked twice and each time the flat white was poor. Going out for a coffee is a treat now and I expect value for money. I'm sick of waiting for poorly made coffee by poorly trained and poorly managed staff now so I'm not coming back.

One of the better Costa's and very well run, good for the locals to catch up and chill out.

The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. I had a great Coconut cappochino, I wanted something light to eat, they recommended trying the oat bar, it was divine!

I come to Costa 2/3 times a week for my coffee and toast before I go to work. Staff are and have always been happy, helpful and polite. I was there a couple of weeks ago and a new young lad was there, just as helpful and polite as the others. I had been there several minutes when a couple came in and the gentleman said rather loudly to the lad “you need to ban smokers from sitting outside the shop”, I didn’t hear what the lad said but obviously not what this man wanted to hear, he told the lad “you are obviously a smoker, you arrogant little s**t”, the lady then piped up “he obviously doesn’t know who we are, do you know who we are”. The gentleman went on to tell another member of staff that this lad won’t be working here much longer once I speak to the owner. I’m really sorry, but I couldn’t see anything wrong with what the lad had done and who the heck do this couple think they are, some kind of royalty because they know the owners, and to talk so loud so everyone could hear and obviously to make everyone look at him. Hospitality is a hard enough industry to work in, I know I work in it myself. Staff do not go to work to be spoken to by customers like this. I sincerely hope that the lad wasn’t sacked and I really think the owners need to have a word with their friends about how they talk to their staff, it’s really not acceptable. Just because you know the owners doesn’t give you the right to abuse their staff.

Very rarely use this Costa unless I'm using the nearby train station but it's always a pleasure to have a coffee here. Last went here on a Saturday morning and the young gentleman taking the orders is an absolute asset to your company (polite, friendly and a huge smile on his face). I'm absolutely kicking myself that I didn't take note of his name as he deserves a huge thank you. I always have a mocha and whoever makes the drink always makes it absolutely perfect. Delightful store with dining inside and outside.

Little bit deluded , the shop did not have any station to put your sugar or anything in your coffe and you have to ask, for sugar ,milk ecc. This ment interrupting other people wile ordering.

Was literally thrown out of the store today for having my dog with me despite being allowed for the last 12 months during the lock down / takeaway service only... Very aggressive loud Eastern European male staff could not simply answer my question of 'what has changed over night with Costa's dog policy when queuing for a takeaway'..... Marlow Costa still allows this and are very polite but the gentleman today at Bourne End is very much damaging the brand image of Costa with being so loud and aggressive in his poor communication skills.. Won't use this store again or recommend unfortunately despite it being local to me.

This is the only Costa I know of that does not allow dogs for even a takeout service. Sorry Costa you have lost a loyal customer! No rationale for this and I am not willing to leave my dog outside.

Felt rushed and a simple task such as adding sugar was a lot of effort for the staff.

We all know Costa. Bourne End is a very good one. Friendly staff, fast service and clean cafe. They are taking Covid seriously and managing this difficult situation well. Need a coffee in Bourne End, this is the spot. Outside heaters too.

Very rude staff, 2 girls in here behind the counter constantly gassing, dis-interested in customers at all. The fella in there seemed lovely and helped, but the other 2 wouldnt give us the time of day. Not great

It's open unlike Marlow and Beaconsfield. Business as usual but instead of making staff redundant how about opening all your stores! Marlow and Beaconsfield are busy commuter towns and most of them are WFH at the mo.

This is a good franchise of the massive Costa chain. You know what you are going to get and it meets your expectations. However the staff are friendly and efficient and the coffee bar atmosphere is the same. Well located. No complaints, but at base it is just another Costa Coffee Shop.

Standard Costa choices with good tasting Americano Primo (£2.10) and a slice of cake (£2.65) went down a treat as a mid morning livener. Plenty of room and good outside seating. Only one unisex toilet.

Quality as one expects from this chain. However they won't credit your points from a receipt from another Costa in a different franchise.

Grabbed a 2 coffees from here this morning. The good thing about costa in Bourne end is they open early. A good quick service by polite friendly staff. And with costa it's always coffee you can trust

Stopped off for a coffee after a walk along the river from Bourne End to Marlow and back. When they get it right, Costa do the coffee and snack thing so well. Rarely disappointed. You know what you should be getting and, almost always, it works out well. This one in Bourne End was no exception. Good service, good coffee in generously sized cups, clean tables, even a paper to read. Presumably that's why they do so well.
