Excellent service,excellent food. We were visiting family and they suggested we dine there. Having dined at a beefeater the day before with other family members I can honestly say your pub was definitely hands down the best. Next time we are in High Wycombe we will be visiting

This is a fav place to visit. I had a birthday lunch with a friend and our meals were hot and enjoyable cleared our plates thank you . We didn’t wait too long for our order to arrive. As usual the venue was clean and the staff were lovely thank you 👍

Lovely meal. Easy to book and very friendly staff even though it was busy. Barman was very helpful and fun. Food was tasty and the carvery very good value. All in all, a really nice Sunday lunch

Popped in for cup of tea this afternoon and bowl of chips... All the staff very friendly and welcoming, from Autumn behind the bar to Mariana on the floor. was by myself but didn't matter as all the staff were attentive and kept the conversation going.

Autumn served me and my family last Sunday and the service provided by her was amazing as always. I quite often go down on a Sunday evening for some drinks and a meal and I must say the food and service is always spectacular. Autumn never fails to remember my drink order and it's lovely to feel like part of the family.

Great selection of food which all tasted great. Very helpful staff when I needed to change my order because my daughter changed her mind after I has paid. Great little play area to keep kids busy while waiting for tea. Already recommend to friends

Great staff, good beer, good atmosphere

Table request was actioned to accommodate the children. Food was good! Lady behind the bar went above and beyond with my son who is 2 and wanted to order his dinner himself. She made a real effort and made him feel very special. I don’t know her name but it was very kind and he clutched his dinner receipt the whole way home. Thank you.

Fantastic place to eat , friendly staff , Ben one of the managers there is always helpful and friendly as is all the staff , food is excellent , kitchen staff do an amazing job , also the front of house team are always happy to help and and give a lovely welcome when you go in , would definitely recommend this place to eat . I've been down there for my 50th , my daughter's 18th , my mum's birthday , also been there on new year's parties, and the quiz is always a good night and a great laugh. Just a great place to eat if you want good food and great service.

Easy parking, good food and helpful staff.

Staff were lovely, friendly & helpful. The roast however was not good, it was cold, dry looking veg and it all kind of tasted the same!

We made a mistake with our booking at assumed we were okay to arrive between 11 and 1 but were mistaken. The way in which we were told we were wrong was rude and the staff member was very short with us. We have both worked in catering and know that this is unacceptable no matter how busy the establishment is. We would rather have been rejected politely than taken in begrudgingly.

First trip to the Spindle and Thread and it lived up to all that I had heard. Friendly welcome and service, no issues with multiple food allergies, food arrived promptly and was beautifully cooked and hot. The ribs just fell apart. Plenty of room between tables. Highly recommend after this visit. Will definitely return with my husband. Thank you.

I enjoyed the Carvery, though the only meat left at the time was beef and turkey. I went on a Thursday evening and enjoyed the calm atmosphere.

Disappointed only one beer in tap overpriced to be honest for what it is. Food was good, but the service really let them down. Asked for water waiting ages then not enough glasses were brought out. The dessert was not as advertised and we did ask but to date are still waiting for an answer. Overall would not recommend.

My daughter and I came for a pre cinema carvery, table at 6:30. Restaurant clean and pleasant, staff friendly. Ordering and payment super easy via QR code on the table. Carvery was very tasty, although I assume they don’t expect many people at 6:30 on a Friday as the meat was down to the ends and was really dry as a result of sitting under the heat. Veg selection was good and hot, although would have benefitted from being covered as some was drying out. Other food choices coming out to tables looked really good. Would definitely come back again, although, if for a carvery would try earlier in the day as the meat was a bit of a let down.

Food was fab, tricky to negotiate the app as I had a voucher and not obvious were to add, had to go back to the start to find where to put it in it was a small line of text on the 2nd or 1st page, annoying! Apart from that all ok!

As always the place was busy yet they still found space for us. The staff although rushing back and forth still had time to answer any questions and extremely helpful and friendly whilst at the bar one member of the staff stood out and was so HELPFUL I will return without question due to just how HELPFUL the team is

Had carvery was okI had the carvery and my wife had the cowboy burger. They were both very nice. The carvery was fresh and warm but we did eat at 12pm so wouldn't expect anything else. Visited again. Best carvery I have had there Went there for breakfast today. Normally go at lunch time but this is the second occasion that my wife and I have had breakfast. The breakfast was very nice and freshly cooked. However the breakfast slot is little short. In my opinion it would be better if you did ten till twelve. Overall it was a good experience and the friends who joined us enjoyed it aswell. This being their first experience of breakfast

Reserved a table with no hassle. Was greeted as we arrived and taken care of very quickly. All orders were taken correctly and efficiently. Food arrived really fast and was excellent. Overall the service was fantastic.

Friendly, helpful and polite staff. Excellent range of food choices. Requested a quiet table near toilets as I am temporarily disabled and got what we asked for. Thoroughly enjoyed our food because it was hot, tasty and well presented. Staff did all they could to accommodate my needs as I have a fractured foot. Thank you🤗

Delicious food, came quickly and carvery is recommended includes as much vegetables as you’d like! Great environment and nice and cosy vibe. Desserts were warm and delicious too would recommend the jam sponge with custard. See you again soon

Excellent good and portions, quiet and nice environment and good staff. Just not giving 5 stars because I wasn't able to try the cauliflower as it had paprika "dust" on top of it and I'm highly allergic to peppers. It would be nice to have it on the side just like all the other sauces or condiments and people would add it to their food if they wanted it

The mixed grill was the best I've had in a long time. The staff were really helpful and easy to talk to as well.

There was a bit of a disorderly queue to order food and drinks. Suggest that you have a single queue and customers be served by the first available bar counter staff. Food arrived quickly and was hot and tasty, although portion sizes could have been larger. Plenty of parking. Bar staff friendly and helpful.

The staff are always welcoming. A popular pub with a really nice outside space. They are dog friendly both inside and outside. Quick service and well priced meals / drinks.

We have eaten here many times and never been disappointed. The menu is extensive and the food quality and portions always great. The Staff, especially George, are great.....happy, helpful and committed to the best of customer service. The atmosphere is always pleasant, warm and welcoming. We highly recommend.

Good value food, especially with 30% off. Be warned, if you order a carvery with additional items (in my case pigs in blankets) they should be brought to you after getting your carvery. Didn't happen with me so halfway through my meal I had to go and ask for them. They eventually came after the end of my meal and were burnt!

I have a lot of time for this place! I’ve heard some negative stuff in the past, however I’ve always had great service, paid very little and had comfortable, well placed seating. Set your expectations at a reasonable level, it’s a low-cost carvery, but if you ask me, it’s the best one you’ll find!

This pub is conveniently situated in my home town of Wycombe,so on my days off I like to toddle over there for something to eat. It always seems to be busy. During the summer you can sit outside to eat and drink,which is nice to do when it's sunny. It's very family orientated too. Food wise, there's a carvery and a menu of all the usual pub classics. The food is your usual pub grub, nice and filling,with no frills. They have lunch menu offers which are slightly cheaper,so you can get a small fish and chips for about £10. I find the drinks a little on the pricey side. I usually have a large glass of Chardonnay and a small bottle of prosecco. Those two together come to almost £20. But maybe I am behind the times with the price of alcohol! They have an "order on the app" system. Or you can order at the bar. When there's older people in the queue gets quite long as they don't order on the app! The service is very good and staff very helpful and friendly. At weekends I would suggest booking a table.

Nice little pub/eatery. I had a mixed grill which was tasty. They even managed to make a rump steak palatable which is a feat as I dislike that cut of meat. Cleaned my plate.

We went as a family on Sunday. So it was a little busy ordered the carvery. This was the biggest mistake all they had was turkey they were still cooking the gammon. The vegitables looked days old. Ended up changing our order manager was less than helpful when asking question i wouldn't bother going for the carvery again.

Food was way below average though the staff were friendly.Had a carvery.Mash,turkey and gammon were lush.Veg was cold,beef like boot leather and roast potatoes like rubber.Then I ordered a banoffee tart and a brownie was served up.Thst was nice to be fair.

Food was great even with how late we ordered. Came out quickly and was really lovely. Lady was really lovely with helping us. Guy behind the bar wasn’t very friendly and slammed a few drinks.

We had a lovely meal, a carvery and a Mac n cheese with pulled pork. Both were tasty. The service was very polite and efficient.

I came here with my friend for an evening to catch up. Nick, B and Ben were absolutely amazing! Even though they didn’t have stock of some drinks/food they always offered an alternative! 👌🏼 The vibe from the staff here is always great and we will definitely be returning! 😍

Lovely pub, dog friendly and food really good. Only complaint is having to pay up front as we were a party of 8 and we couldn't get all the drinks and food it had to be paid on the app or at the bar so it was more complicated splitting the bill. Otherwise it's a great place

We arrived early but were shown to our table immediately. The food was ready in good time and was lovely.

The service was excellent, the restaurant was decorated nicely for Christmas, the staff were polite, and the food was both tasty and the portions were generous, so I have no complaints at all!

This was a great festive evening out at the Spindle & Thread. Service & food were both good. DJ entertaintme was just right both on music & volume.

Three years ago this place was good but now although the food is ok the beer is terrible

Lovely breakfast with Santa and his elves. The kids loved it

We came to the Breakfast with Santa Morning and were very impressed. Our table was waiting for us with Colouring sheets and a fruit shoot for little one. Crackers for all we're also on the table. We helped ourselves to Breakfast, tea and coffee and then let staff know we were ready to visit Santa. We didn't have to wait long before it was our turn and everyone was great with our little one. He got a lovely present and staff took photos for us so we could all be part of the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from start to finish and would highly recommend.

This place never fails to impress me. It is affordable for the whole family and the carvery is really good. Thank you we always have a positive experience here !

I love the Spindle, not only as a frequent patron but as a booked Entertainer too. I host a monthly ‘Quizzy Sue’ music bingo event there, and Fran and her team do a fantastic job with all the organisation that this event entails. It’s thanks to them that the evening is always a huge success (book early if you want to go!). The atmosphere is always brilliant, such a fun-loving crowd, I love hosting (and eating) there!

Great value for money great food you will never go home hungry the down side is you have to PAY for parking but next door is morrisons you get 3 hours free so you could do that just be mindful of the time ⌚ and dog friendly

I come to the spindal every week with friend for the quiz night. The good is good and the customer services is great. Beatrice is particular is so lovely always there with a welcoming smile. Weather it's quiz night, chilled evening over drinks or good food I'd recommend

Staff where friendly and helpful. Pretty straight forward visit, pay at bar, food gets delivered, table gets cleaned up, go to collect carvery which was lovely! (Other than the watery gravy, but that is just preference!)

I took my son to breakfast with Santa, we were supposed to come with my partner (dad) to but he wasn’t well so it’s quite hard getting your food and drinks whilst carrying a child, the staff were absolutely fantastic, offered to help me with the plates and food, went and got me a cappuccino so I didn’t have to and when my son saw Santa he was aware that daddy wasn’t well which was impressive, the communication between the staff and the service was of top quality and we will absolutely be coming back.
