We absolutely adore dining at our favorite restaurant! This hidden gem has consistently won our hearts with its delectable food, warm and welcoming staff, and its exceptional understanding and respect for our family. From the moment we step through the door, we are greeted by the most pleasant and attentive staff. Their genuine kindness and patience, especially towards our son, make every visit feel like a special occasion. They go out of their way to ensure that he feels comfortable and relaxed, and their understanding of his needs is truly heartwarming. But it's not just the outstanding service that keeps us coming back. The food is an absolute delight for the senses. From the first bite to the last, every dish is a culinary masterpiece. One of our favorite features of this restaurant is their musical bingo nights. It's a fantastic way to enjoy a night out with friends and family. Food and service was as good as it usually is. Main gripe is that you now charge a deposit for booking a Sunday carvery which can only be refunded by ordering at the bar, which seems a step backwards. Either facilitate the deposit refund when ordering online at the table or remove the QR code from the table and disable online ordering.

Warm welcome and a table found very quickly even though incredibly busy. Bar staff also welcoming. Special shout out to Nickola on the carvery who had a long continuous line of people. She was super patient, friendly and helpful with everyone. She dealt with issues professionally and went the extra mile to help eg I had the wrong ticket and someone else hadn't paid for pigs in blankets but sorted it out when didn't need to. Thanks Nickola!

We took an elderly friend for lunch. The staff were helpful and understanding of his needs, which was great to see. The food was pretty good. The steaks were succulent and cooked to perfection, but a star lost for the apple crumble, which was appalling!

Had a really good time with my family. It is a good place to take children. Staff are always welcoming to children. I've had food there before and it was good. This time I ordered curry it was really watery and disappointing. Wouldn't recommend it. I do wish they would clean up their seats though They're pretty disgusting.

The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Your app to order food and drinks was easy to use. The main issue was the quality of the food, specifically the Sunday carvery. The pork was 90% fat The vegetables had obviously been sitting for too long and the gravy tasted of nothing at all. Very disappointing. Update - (it was not advertised as pork belly - a highly unusual cut for a carvery)

Had the carvery. The turkey was tasty though mine was the first to be sliced from new joint and small slices with quite a lot of fat and grissel. I'm a small eater but not enough meat for a medium plate. Roast potatoes a bit chewy rather than crispy. Lots of choice of veg though and nice and hot.

Disappointed with this return visit. Mushrooms missed off both plates of sirloin steak - asked for them, told oh yes, but they never appeared.

Went on a quiz night but didn't participate in the quiz. Staff we're still attentive! Only had a tea though!

Not bad at all, good atmosphere had sports on too. Order and pay online, food was good and served in good time albeit 3 of the 4 of us had carvery. The Yorkshire puds are ginormous so be aware if you order an extra. A little bit grubby in places and the menus could use a wipe perhaps but that's not to bad. Will be going back for sure.

A nice clean restaurant. Had the option to pay at the bar or pay by the app. For us it was nice to interact with the bar staff to order our food. The quality of the ingredients in my Philly steak baguette was good. It was a great place for a catch up with my old work colleagues. Plenty of parking during the lunchtime hours. Just remember to enter your car registration plate when you enter the restaurant.

Weekdays seem to be better for food than weekends.

We arrived without a reservation but told we could have a table as long as we were finished within the hour. This wouldn't have been a problem except the food took 40 minutes to arrive, giving us only 20 minutes to eat a large plate of food. A waitress came to our table just as we started eating to say that we needed to leave in 10 minutes, putting us under pressure. We felt extremely rushed and didn't enjoy our rare evening out. A manager apologised and explained that they were very busy, hence the long wait for the food. We won't be returning to this restaurant.

I went for lunch today and my waitress Fran was lovely and attentive. Service was very quick and the food delicious. Highly recommend and I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Good value food and good value for money. Standard chain pub grub (I had the burger and fries)...but done reasonably well, although a friend told me the carvery beef was rather chewy when their family had it. Atmosphere was a bit lacking which I guess is normal for a new pub, but the staff are nice, friendly and helpful. Note that you need to log your car registration to avoid a parking fine. Conveniently located near the middle of Wycombe for a bit of post-shopping lunch. Very spacious inside which is great for wheelchairs, prams and mobility scooters

I had the pleasure of dining with three friends recently, where we caught up over dinner. Upon arrival, I went directly to the bar to order a Pepsi Max, and the bar staff provided prompt and friendly service. Afterward, we seated ourselves at the table assigned to us, utilizing the QR code available on the table to access your website for our food orders. The menu was straightforward, and we all opted for the carvery selection. One of my friends has dietary restrictions, being gluten-free and yeast-free, but she was pleased to find several suitable options on the menu. After receiving our receipts from the waitress, we approached the serving area to select our food. The staff member who assisted us in carving the meat was courteous and apologized for the limited availability; however, we were satisfied with the portions provided. We enjoyed our warm meals and decided to order dessert by using the QR code once again. Our dessert arrived promptly within minutes of ordering. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Another fantastic evening with Liv as our waitress. Tasty meal which is always well cooked and fresh. Highly recommend a visit if you haven’t been before. Prices are comprehensive and great value.

Food was excellent, however during the visit I tried to use a hand sanitizer box which was empty. When I informed the member of staff I was informed this isnt provided anymore rather rudely. This is very poor practice given you are serving food, not because you dont provide it but because the box has been left in situ it means everyone touches it with dirty hands which is highly likely to spread germs. Also the soap was watered down in the toilets. So clearly hygiene needs some work.

Excellent Pub / Restaurant. Call or Book online as restaurant can get very busy at times. Easy free parking (put your registration into the machine on the bar when you enter). Nice relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating and friendly staff. Ample to choose from on the Menu, the Carvery is always good and great value. The Service is excellent and they are very Dog Friendly.

Can’t recommend the spindle and thread enough. We come here at least once a week. Food is always amazing and the staff are always so welcoming and polite. Definitely worth a visit ☺️

Regularly visit this restaurant with 5 of my friends. The food is fabulous value, carvery is delicious. Always clean, comfortable seating and the staff can't do enough for you, it is also very large so plenty of choice for where you want to sit and free parking, just need to input your car registration when you arrive. Would highly recommend.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, I had heard some negative things about it but thought I would try it for myself. I was really impressed, we received a warm welcome from the member of staff at the door then shown to our table. Where the menu was explained. We opted to have the carvery, there was a choice of gammon or turkey on three different plate sizes. There were 4 vegetable choices with mashed potatoes and roasted potatoes. We opted for the large plate. The meat portion was very generous and the vegetables were delicious. The coffee was very good. As was the service. What really impressed me, was that they recognise the Blue Light Card, which gave us a discount on our food, this will keep us coming back. The loo’s are clean and well maintained. The car parking is free for 4 hours, but you must register your number plate when you enter the restaurant. All in all a very nice experience. Edit 3-9-24 we visited again, at 12 o’clock, this being our 4th visit (the 3 previous ones had been fantastic). Sadly we were not pleased. We had the carvery, there was only 2 meats to choose from, beef and gammon. The beef was inedible, impossible to cut and the gammon was mostly fat. To make matters worse the vegetables and gravy were not hot. When we complained to the server all he said was “I’ll mention it to the chef”. It was clear from his attitude that he wasn’t interested. We will go again to see if today was a glitch, because usually the food is excellent. However we may not have the carvery.

Lovely family pub. There is a kid friendly section on one side of the pub, you don't have to sit there if you have children but it's just close to the outdoor playground and small in house arcade bit. Lovely atmosphere. Outdoor seating available. I normally go there for drinks, sometimes desert and food on odd occasion. Food could be improved I'm not keen on the carvery found it quite dry but haven't had problems with the service, food has always been served promptly, friendly bar staff. Quiz Wednesday night starts 8pm last entry probably around 7:30/45. £2 a go, lasts about an hour. Clean and tidy, toilets always seem well kept. Disability accessible and baby changing toilet. Nice warm and friendly pub go regularly with my family, was there tonight for quiz night (29.08.24)

Compared to our first visit, which was not good, when the place first opened and a number of subsequent visits "to see if it had improved" this visit was a revelation. The food was piping hot and delicious and the staff were very attentive. The place seemed to be buzzing and everyone was enjoying themselves. My only criticism was the slow service at the bar as there only seem to be one person serving even though there were plenty of staff about.

I popped in here with my wife and found a busy and friendly pub. There are TV'S dotted around, if you just want to sit and watch the telly. The prices are good and the food was tasty. You can enjoy a 30% off discount at the moment, which was nice. We will definitely be going there again.

On arrival was greeted and seated straight away. Ordered at the bar and was served by Adam, very friendly. Food very good. I had a carvery which was lovely and served by a friendly staff member. I be returning with family for Sunday lunch.

We waited for 5 minutes to be seated and when no one came we just found a table, unsure if we are supposed to as no signs to say either way, maybe a good idea to specify? However once seated food was delicious and service was quick, kids enjoyed the play area.

Booking was easy and the table clearly reserved with the booking details on the table. Ordered at the bar - staff member polite, helpful and accommodated a picky request. Fran organised a wonder day for our charity. Holding a fun family day. We raised £1.488 . The pub has a wonderful family atmosphere, with great food and friendly staff.

We all meet as a family and have a meal together because life is hectic and making time is a must for family. We have been to other places, and this was a very nice and clean establishment with helpful staff and a good list of items to choose from on the menu. Overall, we had fun and would definitely be coming back.

Had carvery was okI had the carvery and my wife had the cowboy burger. They were both very nice. The carvery was fresh and warm but we did eat at 12pm so wouldn't expect anything else.

Booked a table for 4. Server Adam took us to our table, promptly returning with the jug of water we had requested. He was very helpful and friendly throughout our visit, even thanking us and wishing us all the best as we left.

Amazing carvery which is very allergen friendly! Almost all the sides are gluten free, and the website clearly displays the allergens for each of the carvery side options. The gravy is also gluten free and is clearly labelled as such on the condiment station. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the environment was very relaxing. Very reasonably priced too. Cannot praise it enough. I’m thrilled to have finally found a carvery I can fully enjoy with my dietary requirements!

Good enough meal . I give it 4 stars. Relatively expensive and compared to other similar pubs a standard menu. Puddings are standard fayre.

Our table was ready with a nice reservation card with our name on, however the chairs were hard so would have been uncomfortable for my elderly mother, the staff quickly moved us across to another table with softer seating no trouble at all, the service, food and drinks were all lovely, any member of staff we asked a question to knew the answer straightaway. It was very clean however my husband mentioned the gents toilets seem to be a bit flooded, however there was a warning notice to this effect on the gents toilet door so it had been noted and guess they were waiting for the problem to be sorted. Prices were good. Great place to meet up with friends, very casual and friendly no wonder this is the busiest place in town, you got it just right!

Food was good. Service was good. We were a group of 4 and had to eat outside as we were not aware in advance that there would be live music. It was sooo LOUD! We couldn't hold a conversation between us. And could barely order food. If we had known in advance when we booked, we would not have travelled half an hour to get there.

Love this place, we go Monday evenings once every month. Were they have a quiz. Really great service & food is well worth the money. I take 4 ladies with me, but we have a party of 13. Brilliant atmosphere. Sue Toudup the quiz master is a asset for this pub. X

We booked for dinner very last minute & the team did not only accommodate our booking but also provided us with seating in our preferred area of the pub. We were tired after a very long journey and staff were so lovely in serving us quickly, helping us with taking drinks to table & serving us speedily. Food was delicious as always. Thank you!
