The best restaurants in Woking South East

Amazing food. It arrived hot and fresh- love the containers that they use. The satay chicken was delicious and the green curry had lots of chicken and vegetables, and an amazing sauce. This is the fourth time we have ordered with them and haven’t had a bad meal. Will be ordering again and again.

Stopped in here for lunch, have to say I was disappointed. Having eaten at many Lebanese restaurants (one of my favourite meals out) seeing a high rating i have great expectations. However sadly it was not worthy of the rating. Way too much Cinnamon poured over the rice and inside the kebabs. Very strange taste. Lamb Kofta kebab had a very strange taste with so much Cinnamon spice added. The Sujuk sausage was a real let down. 3/4 tiny tiny bits inside a pot of tomato sauce and peppers. Not how Sujuk is usually presented. Flavour of the sausage was weak and the salty sauce overpowering it. I sadly wont return as i have eaten as massively better restaurants. Very over priced for the quality of food provided.

What a fantastic place this is!! I hired out Bacaro for my sisters surprise 21st birthday. Adam, the owner of the bar, was a brilliant host and helped to make the evening very special. The food was absolutely incredible and everyone enjoyed! The staff were all super friendly and helped, a big shout out to John behind the bar that made it super fun and had a laugh :)

The first time I tried Brookwood Fisheries I was a little disappointed because the small cod I had was not cooked freshly to order but pre-cooked and tasted dried up and past its best from being kept warm too long. I decided to give them another chance and ordered a large cod instead. This was cooked freshly to order and was so much better for it. Really nice fresh fish with great crisp batter. The chips were excellent too. I also tried the Yorkshire fish cakes - these consist of a small chunk of fish fillet encased in two slices of potato, all battered and fried. These were tasty but were also past their best and would have been much nicer when freshly cooked. Very friendly cheerful service and great food, very traditional. A great chip shop, but I would recommend avoiding the pre-cooked food as it seems to sit there too long before being served - ask for your food to be freshly cooked or go for the large cod and you won’t be disappointed.

Be warned they have a hygiene rating of 0

Made a special trip to go yesterday (Friday) lunchtime but they were closed despite showing open on Google. No note on the door to show any exceptional reason for being closed, so seems they just close randomly on a whim.

Great bakery products and excellent and friendly service

We moved into the area over a year ago and haven’t really explored the local restaurants outside of ordering delivery. This had great reviews so we felt it was worth visiting, it didn’t disappoint. All the food was delicious and fresh. We ordered the mixed grill for two and even had a little left over that we were asked if we wanted to take home. The staff were all friendly and service was great. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Ordered a delivery….arrived 45 minutes late! In future we’ll order from the other fish and chip shop in Knaphill.

This is my favorite place in Woking, and even in London! You feel at home! The owner of the business is involved in the process, worries about the quality of each dish. Every time I come here, my mood rises. Thank you!!!! The food is very tasty, the interior is beautiful. I recommend it to all my friends.
