The best restaurants in Woking South East

Saw Facebook advert for rum n reggae ended staying until close too many rum punch cocktails, left my jacket and shoes (don’t ask) but kept away for me by the bar staff as I performed the walk of shame to collect the next day. Great night do it again soon - pretty please

Fantastic place with amazing friendly staff. The food was so tasty too with very generous portions. Would highly recommend over the chains in the area.

The experience of visiting Woking’s Lightbox with Chris Ingram’s extraordinary collection of modern British art supplemented by temporary exhibitions is further enhanced now that the downstairs cafe space has rather come into its own. Serving arancini, a pasta of the day and a selection of pizza, these provide a fitting prelude or postlude to a sojourn around modern art in general and, currently, the prints paintings and sculptures of Sophie Ryder in particular. Tables spill out into the sculpture park outside currently populated by Ryder’s strange human and animal amalgams. A tomato and mushroom pizza with a glass of Chardonnay rather brought me down to earth.

I first visited the Haven Cafe (moorcroft centre) in August with my kids - it’s bright, airy and spacious. They have Indoor and outdoor seating and grow a lot of their produce used in the kitchen. They serve hot and cold food, smoothies, coffees, teas, ice cream etc. They accommodate dietary preferences too. The food is delicious, service outstanding and it’s got a great vibe whether you’re meeting friends, family. Very reasonably priced too. I’ve gone back at least 8 times in a month - highly recommend!! There’s on-site parking - perfect for school going parents in the area. Or for people looking to hang out in a nice garden space. Go!! You won’t be disappointed.

This is the best place in the world to go for coffee, the staff are brilliant, tables always clean, the stock is always plentiful with so much choice and staff are always happy to help and advise. Truly a wonderful place to visit I promise or I buy your coffee

Delicioso café, deliciosa comida, servicio maravilloso y no demasiado ocupado para un sábado por la mañana!

Amazing food. It arrived hot and fresh- love the containers that they use. The satay chicken was delicious and the green curry had lots of chicken and vegetables, and an amazing sauce. This is the fourth time we have ordered with them and haven’t had a bad meal. Will be ordering again and again.

Loved my coffee here and will grab another next time I am in town. Much better than the other large chains

This used to be such a good chippie but it seems as though you have to be really lucky these days to actually find them open. I've visited twice recently once on a Sunday and again on a Wednesday and both times they were closed with a sign on the door.

As far as I'm aware, this was my first time having Lebanese food. I had the vegetarian tasting menu, with the aubergine stew for the main. I must say I'm not usually a fan of aubergines, but this was excellent, all the plates from the spiced potatoes, the hummus, the salads. All phenomenal. Great food, very friendly and attentive service. Would recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Lovely birthday party celebration upstairs, 30 odd people. Very good.

We wanted to send a massive thank you to Ateen and his wonderful team for allowing us to hire the venue and hold a Christmas theme Hen-Party. The food was amazing as always. The hens were so impressed with the quality of the food and different choices available. Flexibility was given to us with the decor and communication up to the event with Ateen was great. Thank you always and I’m sure you will see some of the guests travelling from afar just for the food!
