Nandini's Bar and Dining Ltd in Woking

We wanted to send a massive thank you to Ateen and his wonderful team for allowing us to hire the venue and hold a Christmas theme Hen-Party. The food was amazing as always. The hens were so impressed with the quality of the food and different choices available. Flexibility was given to us with the decor and communication up to the event with Ateen was great. Thank you always and I’m sure you will see some of the guests travelling from afar just for the food!

The restaurant to go to if you care about quality and taste and are interested in something different from the usual Tandoori. Small and friendly.

Lovely location and lovely ambience..... The service was SUPERB.... Ateen and Rekha, along with their team Kevin and Tim made us feel completely at home. The food was superb and very reasonably priced ......... look forward to visiting again soon.... Bhushan and Nam.....

It was a great atmosphere with delicious food and great service must definitely try it . Service was next to none and Murg tikka makhanwala and palak patta was superb.

Just moved into the area so trying a few of the take aways as a bit of a lock down mix up. Happy to say it’s the best curry I’ve had for about two years!You must try the “ANDHRA PEPPER LAMB SERVED WITH MINI NAAN”. Amazing.

Absolutely the best Indian food in woking.Food has got good flavour, top quality vegetarian food, and tastes incredible. Plus arrives very promptly.Much recommended,our gastronomic food adventure to delhi started with Palak patta , moong dal pakori, crispy Bajia, beetroot and carrot croquettes for starters.Paneer lababdar, dal makhani and amritsari kulcha,ended with the beetroot halwa .Thank you Ateen and staff for providing us with the authentic Indian food and making me and my family day special on my birthday.

Had a fabulous evening. Enjoyed the cocktails and the wonderful food. The service was impeccable and our hosts were well versed on the menu. We’ve been going here for a couple of years now and it never disappoints! Great food, great service and a great atmosphere. The takeaways are also consistently delicious. Would recommend Nandini’s highly, the best Indian restaurant in Woking!

Incredible prepared bbq food delivered. The pre prepared food for the bbq was outstanding. Great value too. The lamb chops and tandoori chicken were the best I have ever had, incredible amounts of flavour. All my (socially distanced) guests said the same. Don’t think it cost me any more than if I had went to the butchers either, it won’t be my last order!

Chose to have our first lockdown takeaway from here and very glad we did! Having eaten there a number of times before we were not disappointed by the fresh ingredients and authentic Indian street food menu. As always good service with a smile! Best Indian food around currently......

Unable to go out due to the pandemic, we had a delivered take out from Nandini's last night as did three other houses in our small road. Ateen himself brought the food which as usual was excellent. Many thanks to him and his team. Let's try to support our local restaurants during these very difficult times for us all.

Had my sons rice ceremony here on 2nd Feb. It’s was a party of 50 people. We had the most amazing food and excellent service. Owner Ateen has been my long acquaintance and he didn’t let us down. 3 cheers for Nandini’s bar and dinning

Visited for Valentines dinner. The food was excellent and authentic. Even though it was really busy, the service was pretty good. Sure to be back again.

We have been visiting Nandini’s for the past 6-9 months and have become huge fans of the cooking. Authentic Indian food cooked the Indian way. Ateen and his wife Rekha run the restaurant with a lot of pride. They are wonderful hosts and the restaurant offers a fine selection of vegetarian, fish and meat dishes. Highly recommended.

Great food in the restaurant. Terrific variety of dishes and always without fail superbly cooked to absolute perfection. Never been able to fault anything and Ateen is a fantastic host - attantive without being intrusive and service is excellent. Prices are great and good value.

Do you like raw chicken or cobwebs in toilets? If so then visit Nandini's. No one in are party were satisfied with the meal. During the meal I was gagging and I was actually sick. Way too expensive. And they charge for water. In conclusion I am never going back.

We had a splendid dinner in Nandini's on Saturday 14th December. As always, the food was freshly cooked an of exceptional quality. It was probably three months since we last dined at Nandini's, the menu had changed slightly, probably for the better (king prawns were amazing) Definitely worth a visit.

The best Naan bread I have ever eaten. Would recommend the Prawn Puri. Great staff and food. Has become one of regular eating spots!

One of the best memories of my UK visit was to dine at this amazing restaurant. The cuisine is traditionally Indian but with an innovative twist. The owners Atin and Rekha go an extra step to make sure the food is served according to the taste of the diners. Highly recommended!!

So many restaurants oversell themselves nowadays,you arrive full of expectation after reading glowing descriptions of their food, fantastic photographs and rave reviews by customers, most of whom who must have had their taste buds ripped out, only to discover that it was all a sham and once again, its just another bog standard curry house. You could never, ever, accuse Nandini's of overselling themselves, quite the reverse, because quite simply they are delivering the best curry sauces that I have tasted for a long time.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. The owners are always friendly and the food is great. They can recommend dishes depending on how spicy you like your Indian.We went with friends

I have whizzed place this place many times and it wasn’t until a friend mentioned it and how good the food was that I decided to try it. A vegan, a vegetarian and two meat/fish eaters walk into an Indian restaurant....sounds like the start of a joke .... but this place was no laughing matter.

Visited for dinner last night eith friends and was delighted to see many vegan options on the menu. Delicious, tasty food and fantastic service. Will definitely be going back again soon.

Was looking forward to having a meal at Nandini’s after a previous take-away and tonight the meal this evening did not disappoint. The food was delicious and so flavoursome, we ordered a starter called the ‘moong dal pakori’ which we had not had before and they were great. The table next to us thought so too after tasting them and also ordered a plate of them. The poppadoms could have been crispier to be fair, but other than that, it was a great evening and will definitely be returning.

Great food, Great staff. Had a fantastic take away still nice and hot when we got home. Well worth a try. Best curry I've had in years. Can't wait to visit again.

This has got to be the best Indian Restaurant for miles . Even their takeaways are excellent. A must for those who enjoy good , flavoursome foods .

We visited this restaurant for the first time tonight and had an excellent meal and great service. The food was freshly cooked to our liking and everything from the nan bread to the wine was exquisite, we will definitely be returning very soon.

We visited this restaurant on the Sunday and the choice of different Indian food was great.I had beetroot and carrot croquettes as a starter and can thoroughly recommend this.The service was excellent.

The current photo makes these premises look derelict. They are not and the upstairs is no longer boarded. The welcome was friendly, the service was great and the food was excellent. A quite unique and extensive menu selection of beautifully spiced food. We were a party of 3 and ordered one mild dish, one medium and one hot. All 3 were excellent as were the starters and sides.

We recently visited the fabulous team at Nandinis as a group of 36. We were made up of 18 x 16 yr old rugby players & 18 parents in the local area on Tour & also using the evening to celebrate our end of season awards. Essentially we had the place to ourselves for a saturday night. Everything, the welcome, the service, the interaction with Ateen & his wife before during & after arriving way was simply perfect. I've not yet mentioned the food - saving best till last

Based on the Trip Advisor reviews, we thought we would pay a visit. The front of house owner was pleasant and able to explain a few items on the menu which we enquired about. Service was good and we enjoyed the food. Unfortunately I cannot say it was the best Indian food I had had like other reviewers however it was very good

Well having read the reviews was looking forward to having a lunch here. As it was Mothering Sunday we opted for the Sunday buffet...

The restaurant has a very lovely ambience. Our waiter was incredibly welcoming and all of the food that we chose was fantastic and very reasonably priced. We were all blown away by the flavours of "Chicken 65" which was a starter. The raita was also the best that we have ever tasted. Thank you Nandini's.

I went with my wife for an early dinner. This was our first visit to this restaurant after being change in management. I must say this restaurant serves authentic Indian food. Started with Moong Bhajias, amazing taste. We had Panner curry, Dal tadka with basket of rotis followed by Gulab jamoon with ice cream...good hospitality, great taste, good interior. Recommend this restaurant if some one is looking for an authentic Indian food. Wheel chair accessibility is an issue, need to negotiate one step which staff are happy to assist.

Amazing food, staff and owner were extremley warm and welcoming very genuine people and that shows in the food. Attention to detail was great. The only small issue I would have is the decor it doesn’t do the place justice. But that said we will be returning back again very soon

We're not local to the area and found Nandini's on TripAdvisor. The reviews were great and the local authority food hygiene rating equally good. Could it live up to its reputation?

Most impressed by the food and service at this restaurant, particularly as I was travelling/eating alone on a Saturday night - they were happy to provide me with a good corner table and were very welcoming.

Nandini's is a brilliant family business. The food is excellent, the welcome is unrivalled and the service is seamless. On the menu you will see some of the "old favourites" and perhaps some dishes you have not encountered before. I would encourage you to explore, doing so has always served me well. Alternatively, ask for advice and you absolutely get it. Ateen's recommendations have always been spot on.

One word to describe this restaurant 'brilliant'. I was taking my girlfriend to stay at a local hotel and emailed nandini, they were very professional and friendly via email they organised a free birthday cake even though I offered to pay, once there we was greated very warmly, the food was lovely, I have eaten many curries and this would be in the top 5 easily, i would definetly recommend this restaurant, thank you for a lovely evening

Nandini's is a family run restaurant in West Byfleet. It is quite small but the food is outstanding. Dishes are specially prepared and nothing is too much trouble. We have been a number of times but on the last occasion took friends from USA who were very impressed. I have a garlic intolerance but they cook me food without garlic and if we phone in advance they will specially marinate food for my visit.

Had the opportunity to have their food twice as of yet - once in an anniversary party in Cambridge ( served by them ) and in London from their food stall . Both the occasion I found the taste of food was great and authentic.

Having read reviews we were very keen to visit Nandini's and were not disappointed, in fact it more than exceeded expectations. We asked for help with the very interesting menu and the food was amazing - subtle spices, moist and tender meat, fantastic Peshwari Naan and all presented beautifully. Friendly service. Highly recommend.

It is not your traditional curry house, but we have been twice recently and loved it both times. The service is also impeccable. Will be going back imminently!

Came up from Kent to visit my eldest son who recently started university nearby, and we decided to celebrate his 19th birthday by booking a table at Nandini's.

First visit and food was excellent. Just the right mix of spices and not too oily. True experience of Indian cuisine. Excellent hosts and Rekha, lady owner kindly made a non spicy starter when my daughters found the starters we ordered a little spicy.

There is a lot of competition for restaurants, and specifically Indian restaurants in West Byfleet - but this one is a cut above. The focus on quality of each dish and the service was amazing. It’s like being spoilt by your family. Try it!

This was our second visit taking friends, and as expected the quality of the meal was excellent. We were not disappointed at all despite having a limited specialized menu as cooked fresh to order and to your personal liking. It feels a little more upmarket than the average with a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. Also the owner was very charming and attentive. We look forward to our next visit.

I placed a big order for 10 people for my husband’s 40th birthday and Nandini’s did a Chicken Madras and Lamb Laal Maas along with naan bread, rice and Bombay aloo. Food was delicious and service was amazing!

2nd time round here and the food did not disappoint. We ordered a variety of dishes and each one had its own distinctive flavours and were cooked from fresh. The lamb was tender, the prawns were succulent and the gol gapa starters were little explosions of taste in your mouth.

Everything about our dinner here was wonderful: the service, the selection, the food itself was delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised when got the bill — really great value for the money. I’m just traveling through the area, but I wish I was staying longer so I could come back again!

Saw the reviews and went there, managing our expectations as is wont for the the usual curry houses.

It's not very often that all elements of a meal are excellent in their own right. This meal at Nandini's was one such occasion. We came across dishes that we had not seen at any other Indian restaurant. I could go on but I suggest that you just go along and try it yourself. It is the best Indian meal that have had for a long time and it is such a different experience.

First time here, we came after seeing good online reviews and were not disappointed. The owner served us and was very helpful, the lamb chops starter was particularly good and the mains were very tasty and nicely spiced. Two main courses, a side dish and bread plus a wine and soft drink came to just over £22 per head. Considering the quality of the food, money well spent.

Thali Thali in Woking used to be the best and most interesting Indian in Surrey, but under its new management it has lost the plot. Then Kayal came to West Byfleet (after the short-lived Kayaloram) - excellent Goan food. Oddly, it's now surpassed by a relatively new restaurant, Nandini's, just round the corner. Interesting and tasty.

My family and guests are very glad that we have used the catering services provided by the Nandini Bar and Dining for our daughter's second birthday celebrations. The food was not only delicious but of highest quality and as authentic as we cook at home(which is vey rare in foreign country). I am thrilled to know that even though the guests are mixed(North & South Indians, English and Chinese) but they all enjoyed the variety of food items that are advised by owner of Nandini and customised to us for this event.Thanks to Nandini team for making this event not only memorable to us but also to our guests as well, who enquired about the catering service while saying good bye.

You will go a very long way to find better or more interesting Indian food. Instead of the usual huge list of dishes (that are usually just rehashes of the same sauces), Nandini's presents a small number of very different dishes, all properly cooked and presented beautifully.

Whilst the decor is simple and a bit lacking in atmosphere, this is more than made up by the hospitality of the owners and the quality of the food. Menu has some really original dishes and the taste was full of flavour.

Just want to say thank you so much for a wonderful lunch. We were treated so well and the food was absolutely delicious. W’ll definitely be back!!

If you are looking for the best Indian restaurant in woking area look no further . It's not your average chicken tikka tandoori curry house ..it serves some of the most exquisite dishes from different parts of india and the preparation is very authentic . Especially the fish dishes . Don't miss the salmon in banana leaf with mustard sauce ..or the 'Lal Mas ' which is a north Indian classic . Best art is the service with a pleasant smile and genuine conversation. Also if you like Indian single malt whiskey you might want to go there .

Fabulous fresh, full of flavour and lots of choice. I had heard that this was a great restaurant so I was not surprised that the food was as good as I had hoped. The dishes are a mix of different regions of India. Can't wait to go again - only just wished I lived closer. Also worth noting that the service is first class.

We visited Nandini’s Bar and Dining tonight and as soon as we stepped in the door we felt at home. Such a very warm welcome from the owners who work incredibly hard to make sure you are enjoying the experience of their restaurant. The food was freshly prepared and nothing seemed too much trouble. Even when I mistakenly ate a chilli, the lovely lady was quick to bring me a wonderful mango and yoghurt drink to calm everything down which was very much appreciated. The broccoli side dish is a must and a very good recommendation. Will definitely be going back and so glad we decided to visit. Thank you Nandinis

A new addition to West Byfleet and one that deserves to blow away the mediocre competition. The food is beautifully and subtly spiced. It will be an enormous loss if this place doesn't make it to sustained profitability.

Visited for the first time today on the recommendation of some friends. The meal was outstanding- freshly cooked and different to the usual offerings. Service was brilliant.... the food beautifully presented. Is genuinely the best meal I've had for a long time. Amazing!

We went last night to Nandini’s and thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening. Their food is delicious with some unusual dishes. There was a large crowd in the adjacent room but that didn’t disturb us. Recommend this highly.

This is not the usual curry house food. Much, much better. We have been a number of times and each time the food has been fabulous and the owners so welcoming and helpful. They offer good advice about the food on the menu. Service is relaxed and friendly and the prices reasonable. This really is a ‘must go to’ place.

Went for a late lunch, on a sunday. The New owners made us feel most welcome. The food was yummy. Chunk of lamb in a delicious sauce. Lovely nans in garlic butter. This restaurant is a must !! A warm thank you to the owners.

We came back tonight with our daughters (10 and 11) after a delicious meal a few weeks ago. The couple that own the restaurant made our girls feel very welcome again, suggesting mild, tasty dishes and amazing lychee and mango juices. Our oldest was so taken with her mild tandoori chicken dish she said she wanted to come back every weekend to have it and asked me to write this review. It really was very special. You have to visit - the food is truly outstanding and the best Indian meal we’ve ever had. It’s our new favourite restaurant!

Can only confirm the very positive reviews below. There are some really different and delicious dishes on the menu. Worth the visit for the Indian white wine alone ! We really enjoyed our first visit and were well looked after. Highly recommend Nandini's for a top quality Indian restaurant experience.

We were 10 of us and just turned up without notice due to our car breaking down nearby. They were happy to welcome us even though it looked liked a peak hour during lunch time. The owner was very helpful & polite and gave special attention to us as we had 4 kids in our group. Staffs were quick to respond whenever we requested considering how busy they were at the time.

Easily the best Indian meal since we left London 9 years ago. The food was delicious and unique. The restuarant was clean. The owners were delightful and knowledgable. Sea bass was special and the brocolli was memorable. Didnt think i would ever write that about brocolli!

This restaurant is one of the best local Indian restaurants we have eaten at in a long time. The food is outstanding, very tasty and not like your typical greasy Indian food.

This restaurant has a really small, different menu for an Indian restaurant, with dishes from across India. The food is full of flavour and very fresh. They do good weekend buffets and we have had takeaway a couple of times too. It’s an informal friendly place run by a lovely family.

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve eaten in. The quality of the food is outstanding, the service is second to none. This is a real gem in Surrey. I can not recommend it enough.

I went for Sunday lunch and we decided to go for the set menu, not something i normally do. The food was delicious, interesting and unexpected. Not your normal Indian curry house. Would definitely recommend the fried lentils which come with a dip (the dish name sounds like 'broccoli' but isn't)!

Have enjoyed visiting this restaurant a few times so thought I would leave another review. The couple who run the place are really lovely. I am gluten intolerant which can be a bit of a pain when eating out but this restaurant is great for gluten free options and it's always no stress. I also enjoyed a free dessert which was a beetroot dish with ghee served with an authentic homemade ice cream, not something I would have ordered by the sound of it but I certainly would again. Glad to see this restaurant is doing well!

We really liked the mix of food on the menu from different regions of India and everything we ate was very tasty. The owners were friendly too. Will be back.

Made to feel very welcome by the charming husband and wife team who run the restaurant, my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal, picked from the interesting and varied menu. The king prawns that I chose were delicious, very large and firm. Would probably have awarded a 5, had the inexpensive popadom starter been more impressive. Attention was drawn to this, the problem with the quality was acknowledged pleasantly, and the item was excluded from our bill. Will definitely go back and will not hesitate to recommend the restaurant to friends.
