Delivery -> Not happy! JustEat The restaurant did not show the delivery person delivering food. This man knocked at the door which I couldn’t hear and then he called me then I went out to collect. He was very furious and was shouting that he will not deliver the food next time. I hope the restaurant updates where the delivery person is. Also after the food was delivered the app is showing that “the food is with the courier now”. So please fix this issue and I don’t want to get screamed by people. I said to him you have the phone number and he can call us like he did but he was getting angry and saying we can’t be dialling people we have so many delivery’s to deliver. Really bad experience.

Food was fantastic, a shared rice, side and 2 mains with a bread was more than enough for us we had left overs! Bill was £84 with service charge I thought it was reasonable with 3 beers aswell.

You are never disappointed by the quality of food and service. Jaipur has survived the coming and going of many fads and fake restaurants in its twenty-one years. It has serviced covid, economic factions by delivering the freshest and best ingredients. My favourite is Railway lamb, succulent and deliciously spiced it melts on your tongue. Tandori prawns are fresh and juicy. Ali and his team are better than Brick Lane or anything local.

We have some good restaurants in Edinburgh serving Indian food but this establishment in the centre of Woking is right up there with the best. We were down for the Hampton Court Flower Show and needed somewhere good after a slightly damp day. We couldn’t have done better. Efficient and friendly staff, a good atmosphere with every table taken and clean fresh linen tablecloth and napkins results in something special – and that’s before you get on to the deliciously and subtly spiced dishes. The railway lamb lives up to its heritage and I would thoroughly recommend eating here.

Specifically told me to make sure I put that I am vegetarian when ordering and can't be cooked with anything that's been used for meat. Did that, also called and made sure. Still it came and can tell its clearly been cooked with meat, can tell by the taste and can see little bits of chicken in the curry. Huge difference in the look and flavour when it hasn't been mixed with meats. Very disappointing as I love the food when they have done it right. If you really enjoy Indian cuisine and do not just want the usual common place main course then you must go to the Jaipur. The menu is very adventurous and very different from other Indian restaurants. So, try them. But, if you want a korma or biryani they are available. The start we had was the King Prawn Puri and Mixed Platter and both were first class in taste, quality and presentation. I had the Chicken Jalfrezi and it was the best ever. My wife had the Chicken Shaslik and again it was superb. So yes the Jaipur is very popular and so we would only go again on a quiet night and not a Friday or Saturday as it does get busy and noisy. Try it once and you will also return. Enjoy

Booked a table for me and my partner at 18:20 on the 06/04/25. I had previously been with a friend of mine, and was looking forward to bringing my girlfriend on this occasion, as I had really enjoyed it the last time. We arrive, and the place was practically empty. Not a problem to us. We were then greeted, shown to our table and asked if we would like any drinks. After receiving the drinks and having looked through the menu, we were ready to order. I ask for the following: x1 lamb pakora starter. x1 chicken korma. x1 pilau rice. x1 chicken tikka masala. x1 coconut rice. x1 Peshawar naan. I specifically ask the waiter if he can make sure the chicken tikka curry is made mild, as I prefer it with less spice. Not a problem I’m told. He writes it down and takes the orders to the kitchen. About 10 minutes later, he brings the first dish out. The lamb pakora looked okay at first glance, although there wasn’t much of it (literally about 5 small pieces). The lamb itself was cooked beautifully and perfectly balanced. A decent bit of fat and meat. The coating however was more like a batter that you would find on fillet of cod from the fish & chips shop instead of a pakora. Not too big of a deal, but not something I’d order again. Next, the chicken korma comes out, followed by what looks like a coconut rice/basmati rice (even though we’d requested pilau rice for the korma). At first, I thought they might have got them mixed up, and would be bringing it out with my chicken tikka masala. This turned out to be the least of my concerns. Straight after, he brings out a chicken tikka kebab (pieces of meat on a skewer) and no rice. I immediately tell him that this wasn’t what I’d ordered, and reminded him that I’d asked for a masala and coconut rice. The look on his face was one of apathy. To avoid stressing anyone out, I tell him it’s fine. He asks if I would like my original order made up, to which I reply yes. “A couple minutes” he says. No no it’s fine, tell them to take their time I explain, I’m happy to wait. My immediate thoughts were, how on earth would he have them make a curry up in a couple of minutes, and why would he say that thinking that it would help the situation. Lo and behold, he returns (literally about 3-4 minutes later) and brings out a curry. I could tell straight away that it was literally thrown together as quickly as possible, as a means of rectifying the issue. It looked like a watery mix of the base sauce and did not resemble a tikka masala (especially the one I’d previously had when I came with my friend). The chicken you ask? They couldn’t be bothered to make up a fresh batch, they’d literally pulled off the chunks from the skewers they’d brought out previously and tossed them in the sauce. He then says “I’ve brought you out a rice to go with it, free of charge.” when I’d literally asked for a rice to begin with… It’s as if the guy wasn’t listening at all. Not to be deterred, I tuck in and carry on with the evening, hoping that it would at least taste decent… Wrong! It was perhaps the worst tikka masala I’d ever had, which was really disappointing considering I’d complimented the place to my partner before coming and had previously enjoyed the food. Whilst eating, the manager comes over and asks if the food was okay. Again, not to make a fuss of things, I simply respond with a yes and a thank you. He looks down at the curry and then heads over to the main desk where he begins to ask the waiter in their native language about the food. I don’t know what was said obviously, but I heard him say the word tikka, and he did not look at all happy. The waiter responded by saying something along the lines of “It’s fine don’t worry about it.” I can only assume that he was questioned about it and thought that it would be okay as I was obviously ‘too stupid to notice.’ Wrong again… I usually don’t make a scene with things like this, as I’m well aware mistakes happen, but it’s how you handle them and try to put them right that matters. Very disappointed.
