A very warm welcome upon arrival from the staff and owner. Fast to be seated in a very modern and beautiful decorated restaurant.

Our favourite Indian restaurant currently and has been for 5 years and we live in Weybridge and so we go to Byfleet to be here. Recommended and wonderful friendly staff.

Food Hygiene rating of 2 (out of 5)! Quality really dropped in last year. I would encourage anyone interested to get a full copy of the Food Hygiene report from the council, it does not make good reading. If the standards have improved, the restaurant should get re-inspected, otherwise I won't be eating there again

The absolute best and most consistent curry around

Used to be the best curry place about , ordered tonight I’m shocked by how terrible it is now. Said it would be 45 minutes turned into hour and half , bought out twice was awful twice. Shame used to love that place.

Went here as a family of 5 last week-I’m not one to write reviews one this was one of the best experiences will for sure come back. A few things to take away- Their menu's like a tour of India's tastiest bits – from classic starters like samosas to tandoori treats that come out of the oven on point. Naan's a real standout – soft, charred just right. The curries are the main event, no doubt. Butter chicken's a crowd-pleaser, creamy and moreish. The veggie options with paneer are bang on too. Service is spot on – friendly lot who know their stuff. The vibe's got this mix of classy and traditional, perfect for date night or a big family blowout. And desserts? Mango lassi – sweet heaven. Thank you so greatly for your service!

I don't give 5 stars lightly, this is the second time we have used this restaurant, the first time was a great meal, so we ordered again to see if it was a one off, the food was just as good as the first time. Every single item, the currys , the rice, the aloo gobi, the breads, everything was top notch, really good portions, fresh and just as good as cold curry leftovers the next day. To be honest we only used this restaurant because it was the only one open that late, but what a lucky find. We have found the best curry house in the area and will be regular customers from now on, thank you to the restaurant for such great food. And yes we are genuine customers.

Placed a huge order for 16 people for a Saturday delivery and was not disappointed. The food was delicious, delivered on time and the staff were very accommodating and helpful when pre-ordering. Will 100% use again. Thanks for being super helpful!

Still waiting for delivery 1 hour 45 mins after ordering, keep being told on its way, or I would of cancelled the order, been using Red Rose for 40+ years, never been treated like this, absolutely disgusting service. Food finally arrived, stone cold, won't be getting my custom again, but don't suppose they care 😡

Such wonderful Indian cuisine. Perfectly seasoned, not too greasy, full of flavour. The Red Rose is also great value for money. We really enjoyed our few most recent visits and take aways. Our new favourite!

I ordered a take away .. for delivery. Was told it would be an hour . Ok 👌 however after a hour and 20 minutes I called only to be told they had left to deliver and would be with me asap !!! Ohhh a total lie ! Rang again and told the same !!!! Lie lie lie !!! So I told them I no longer wanted the food and asked for a full refund .. the manager then put the phone down on me !!!!!!!!! Ruined evening ! Just tell the truth and don’t lie !!!

A horrible experience. I made an order through just eat app. I had been given a £10 voucher from just eat which I used. The owner calls me back stating I wast able to use the voucher and proceeds to tell me that I have to pay the driver extra £5. I had to explain countless times that the voucher is provided by just eat and it's best to talk to them. The owner continued to be rude and shouting through the phone. I will definitely not be ordering from here again and advise everyone not to.

Just visiting the area, so called in for dinner. Staff very welcoming and exceptionally helpful. The restaurant is spotless. The food arrived quickly and proved to be excellent. King Prawn Puri came with a generous helping of Prawns. Shatkora Bhuna Lamb, and Special rice was a great choice too. Its a shame I live so far away, otherwise I would definitely be back. However I can give the Red Rose my recommendation.

This place has gone downhill so much in the past 5-10 years, I loved this curry house soo much when Mo was in charge but since then it’s changed for the worse time an time again. We’ve been to every new years event for the last 7 years but even that’s changed. What has happened to the best, most established curry house in the area? So disappointed!

Ordered a takeaway as soon as they opened, delivered 25mins later, piping hot & very, very tasty. Will definitely order again.

A family birthday party. Friendly staff, good service.

Ordered take away at 6 30pm and it arrived just before 8pm. Excuse was we're busy! Food portions much smaller than normal and missing ingredients that are usually there. We usually have no problems at all so will always avoid 'busy' times. Food tasted delicious though so that's a positive!

Had probably sweetest curry I've ever tried to eat in this place last night awful! Acher lamb "look it up on there menu" no mention of so sweet it's offensive! Complain and told some nonsense regarding something but couldn't really understand the man. But the tikka masala OMG sweet! Not edible! It was so sickly made me feel sick honestly couldn't eat it .never go there again.

This restaurant has been trading for many years. I have to drive pass many other similar types of restaurant to enjoy a meal at The Red Rose but in my opinion it's well worth the drive. It's a five star from me.

Had good takeaway,on time and fairly priced

The gentlemen working gave exceptional service. Great quality of food will definitely be going back next time I'm down that way. My parents always get their takeaways from there even though they live in Old Woking

We ordered food to be delivered today. Order was for 8 dishes and 90% of filling was onion and some very odd oils with curry infused random pieces of meat and king prawns. Absolutely disgusting!!! We will never again order from that place!! Be aware!!! All dishes are onions based!!!

Ordered a takeaway at 1955h. It took 1 hrs 40min to arrive by which time it was too late to eat. Some of the order was missing. We won't be back.

Over an hour late, not warm, random bristle in fish curry and the "worst lamb curry I have ever had". Really do not recommend

Six of us dined out table booked for 7.15pm we were greeted at the door and were seated promptly we were not rushed and allowed to take time to select our dishes I wish I had taken photos. We had starters mains deserts coffee and drinks and some complementary Bailey's food was lovely service great wonderful evening good value for money I will definitely be returning.

Although the red rose is slightly more expensive the flavours in the currys are more than worth the extra few £. I will definitely be ordering from them again!

2 hour wait for the wrong order. Average food. Discount admits liability but I wanted a decent meal which I didn't get. I won't be back.

Have had about 6 deliveries from this restaurant and I've never had a bad meal. The food is always brilliant quality, absolutely delicious and turns up quickly. I highly recommend.

This restaurant may have good reviews for it's takeaway service, but my family and I had an awful experience dining in at this restaurant for my birthday meal. Most of us felt awful the next day, and this can only be attributed to the undercooked, chewy dishes we'd consumed the evening before. We'd asked for jugs of water four times and were ignored every time (we were one of only three groups of customers in the restaurant so it wasn't busy...) and when the final bill came, I couldn't believe how much they had charged for such a shoddy meal! Definitely not worth the money. Avoid this Indian restaurant as you can find tastier (and cheaper) alternatives elsewhere.

This is our nearest Indian restaurant and that's no bad thing! never been disappointed or left feeling hungry, reasonable prices, a varied menu and always good service, if you want a decent Indian in Byfleet then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

Can only review a takeaway delivery. Having lived here for over forty years and tried every Indian restaurant locally, we did not realise we would be able to order a delivery to us. 'Needing' a change we rang The Red Rose, in Byrfleet. Yes they would deliver! Without a doubt this has to be the most fantastic Indian meal we have had. Prawn Patia was superb. could actually 'taste' the prawns, amongst the beautifully cooked sauces, never had such a delicious curry before. He chose the Harri Mirch Chicken, being kindly advised very hot. He loved it. We both were so impressed The two rice dishes we could not fault. Every flavour, texture was seriously extraordinary, we had no idea what we have been missing. BE warned we will be back!! THIS is all based on a taeaway.

We went to red rose after reading some of the reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The service was brilliant and the food was on-point, everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly - the lamb pathia especially. I couldn’t thank the staff enough for their hospitality. Would definitely recommend to anyone, and only a 5 minute journey from brooklands hotel for those staying nearby.

What was delivered tonight can only be described as some of the best Indian food I have eaten..... a absolute treat... many than you's...

As a true local and having tried all restaurants since birth in the local are around Weybridge, writing only 4 reviews ever until now, I write because this restaurant even through COVID, is of superior Indian food quality. The chicken is top quality and the sauces and various dishes, we now believe are the best in the area. Unbeatable and we have used only for deliveries so far over the recent years and will soon visit the restaurant. The lady taking orders on the phone is super friendly, very easy and swift, no issues. Even during COVID times, deliveries are swift and the staff so friendly, polite and COVID friendly and cautious. Very safe. I can only highly recommend and do so to all friends and family. I work on London and this beats their Indian restaurants too. One of the best if not the best

I’ve ordered from Red Rose a number of times and it’s my firm favourite, but have only ever ordered on a Friday or Saturday, I ordered a takeaway recently on a Tuesday evening of my usual chicken Korma and mushroom rice and the Korma sauce had a distinct lack of flavour compared to the same dish I’ve ordered in the past. I can only put this down to there being a different cook working Friday to Sunday? Plus, my order was missed off the first delivery whereas the rest of the order came on time. We had to ring the restaurant to tell them and no apology was offered. Nevertheless, it won’t put us off, I’ll just order on a Friday or Saturday when the food is consistently great!

We live the the village, second time we’ve ordered a take away during lockdown and It was as fresh and tasty as the first order, simply delicious! Delivered on time, in fact a little early. Can’t wait to have a sit down meal. Wonderful and highly recommended!

Red Rose of Byfleet is offering deliveries from 5pm onwards during these challenging times. Last night we were able to order in good time, the food was delicious and akin to eating inside the establishment. Very high standard. It's important we all pull together and try to keep our favourite restaurants going by supporting them, no matter how small the order.

Very unwilling to sort out mix up in order eventhough we have been regular customers for over 2 years

Paid £42 for tandoori king prawn, chicken biriani, 2 nans, 1 rice a Diet Coke and a potato and Cauliflower dish. The flat Diet Coke u was served whilst waiting should have served as a warning about the general quality of the food I received. My keema nan I’m sure was once a garlic nan that had been recycled. I don’t mind a little garlic but this thing would have scared Dracula himself. King prawns were £13:95 and Came with no salad or dressing. The food was just not up to the standard you would expect for that type of money.

I tried this place for the first time with a take away, and damn I won’t be going back here for a take away or to dine at it’s restaurant, ever again and although it’s only a 2 minute walk away from my house! The supposed butter chicken was rubbery and spicey and not buttery at all, it was horrible. I’ve tasted better curries from the 99p isle in iceland!The supposed garlic naan was bland and I paid almost £20 for this huck of crap. inedible and binned.

Excellent Indian Restaurant in Byfleet, food is always very well cooked and waiters are friendly and knowledgeable. Have been coming here for many years and never disappoints. Thank you Red Rose for a lovely evening.

Order all the time fresh cooked food bit more expensive than others but you get what you pay for the chicken and lamb are so tender never had a bad meal only downfall is the butter chicken it comes with alot of fat in the fish which isn't pleasant

I’m really taken aback by the negative reviews on here. I don’t disbelieve peoples opinions, but I have had many takeaways here which have always been exceptional, we have had friends round and got takeaways from there a few times and they’ve also commented on the high quality. Last night we went for dinner there, it’s only the second time we have actually eaten there rather than get takeaway, but both times we have been really happy with the experience. The staff are attentive and happy to help. The waiter didn’t know the wine menu which I feel they should but it didn’t really matter much, I just feel those things should be a standard. The food was great, I’m not good with spicy food so I always order mild so my choices are limited whenever I get a curry, but my partner tends to go for different options each time and we have both always been happy with our meals. Overall, a really lovely dining experience, reasonably priced. Perhaps negative reviews have been looked into by management and changes have been made because I have nothing bad to say.

collected an order tonight of Lamb Biriani, Chicken curry and a nan bread, I am very disappointed. It tasted like it was out of a jar. I have never written a review of a restaurant but felt compelled this time as I feel as though I have wasted my time and money, you also said I would get a 10% discount which I did not. The only thing I enjoyed was the man bread but I feel as though I have spent £25 on a piece of bread. I will not be using your restaurant again 1/10 Mark

My husband and I went for a meal Saturday just gone. We started with popadoms & chutneys then onyon bhaji. They was well over cooked I asked for some more of the dip that comes with the starter. We got all the sauces again. Then had our main meal. Yes they was quite busy so I thought so we could rest our arms as you do after a meal and talk I started to stack our plates. Well the older man with the beard came up and snatched the plates out of my hands & went off. Very rude we also go charged for 2 lots of the dips they not expensive but thought you get the dip with the starter. It's the princable. We will not be going back not 1st time we had a problem there with the same reasons.

Food is really good, the service and waiters are rude ignorant and rushed! Not a pleasant evening!I was halfway through ordering drinks and he had already walked off! And then the order came back wrong! And they are putting the bill down before you’ve even put your spoon down!!!

I've eaten curry all over the place, This restaurant is by far the finest Indian food I've ever eaten. Immaculate.. Its a shame I live in Cheshire and cant visit more often..

The best Indian food I've eaten in years.

Have been a regular customer over several years, but over the last few months the standard has dropped considerably. Because of my work schedule I usually order a takeaway, which lately seemed to taste and look like spicy, luke warm porridge. Staff also seem unwelcoming, plus, my wife recently found a big lump of metal / cardboard in her food too - awful! Very little vegetarian optionsI'm now looking to find a new restaurant.

This was a new Indian trial for the four of us. It is good to try somewhere different at times. It was a Saturday evening and the place was full. As with most Indian restaurants the tables are in lines and quite close. We even got into quite a nice chat with the people on the next table.

We have been coming to our favourite Indian for over 20 years, food is stil great but the staff are now rude and have an attitude, we were charged for an extra cobra beer after not ordering one and the off hand attitude of the staff and the way they behaved when we challenged the bill leaves a sour taste, as it looked like they didn't believe us!!! A real shame

On arrival after making a reservation earlier that day we were told we had not reserved a table and the general staff attitude was very poor when questioned, the staff were arguing that we had not made a booking. Only available table was right by the door we expressed we did not want to sit there with which we received further poor attitude that we had not booked. Finally got to move to another table when my husband became involved.

We visited the restaurant with a group of 53 children on a rugby trip. Not easy for a restaurant to cater for but they did so amazingly. The manager had arranged a set menu at a very reasonable price and the quality was great. Can highly recommend.

Visited with my wife and our three boys. We had a variety of starters and main meals, all of which were delicious.

Ordered a takeaway... Delivered in 15 minutes... 1 Lamb Rogan Josh and 1 King Prawn Madras and both dishes was delicious. One of the best Indian meals I've ever had. Very nice

They can't cope with large groups if you was to pay singly and also food was cold and we never got what was ordered we complained about the cheese naan and he handled it in front of us and also I ordered lamb Korma and was told that I never ordered it will not be returning

I haven't been there for ten's of years but my return was a very good experience, I will return.
