We have visited the Beijing twice since my last review, both times in the evening taking advantage of the 'buffet' deal. The service on both occasions was excellent and the food very good. The buffet is actually a served meal, you can order all that you want for £29 per person with the caveat that if you over order you pay the full menu price if you don't eat what you order, which is we think is fair & reasonable. Will definitely be dining here again on our next visit to Woking.
La comida y la calidad del servicio ha bajado colina abajo desde que el anterior gerente del restaurante se fue. No volveremos a reservar muy decepcionados, especialmente cuando el espectáculo fue tan bueno.
Been to the restaurant last evening we were welcomed by a kind waiter (alyhough restaurant seems very busy) offered cozy place with menus on hands, until we decide food we ordered our fresh juices which were enough to win our heart(fresh lemonade and strawberry juices) then in a short time we were served with starters, and then main meal, the flavor the spices were just perfect and works like a magic in a lovely friendly atmosphere, beautiful decore soft music quick friendly service, and very reasonable prices and not wrong to say one of the best restaurant experience so far in woking and guildford, hatts off to the sheff and weldone to all the waiters for their hardwork. Definitely coming back with more friends and family.
With so many takeaways cutting costs and quality, it's great to see that Royal Chef hasn't done so.
Lovely tasty food, not too greasy and fresh ingredients.
Best Chinese in the area for sure.
Had it in the food court at peacocks and just realised why I stopped eating there. The food is really tasteless, cold and tastes of nothing and the staff looks bored. The staff at MacDonalds, next door looks more friendly and welcoming and frankly the food also seems more flavourful.
The portions are getting smaller and smaller. Have noticed quite clearly that the overall volume is reducing and the ratio of rice to meat is increasing. The vegetable noodles were noodles with around 4 green beans and a few strips of onion. Plus why do they have the temerity to put an add tip option when you pay in a takeaway. Wil no longer use this takeaway as value for money is now poor.
Me and my friends were just looking for a good quality meal but instead got the pizza trip from hell. It’s like Satan made this place himself. As soon as I walk up to the shop there were rats everywhere, it was worse than the plague. When we managed to get past the rats and into the shop we saw the worker picking his nose then diving his hands into some of the toppings. Unsurprisingly we didn’t get food from here because we didn’t want any diseases. If you don’t want to be rushed to A&E because of being uncontrollably sick I don’t recommend going here.
AVOID. Ordered from here for two people. Food arrived having been packed in the same bag as the cold drinks so food wasn't very hot and the bag was wet, soggy and ripped. Missing a portion of chips and number of sauces. When rung to ask for a refund, got awful customer service from a man working there; rude attitude and did not help at all. The worst take away we have eaten for a long time and will waste our time again from Roosters Piri Piri in Woking. AVOID.
Ordered the thin crust pizza, arrived cold, thin as a wafer very little topping and as crisp as a biscuit, when I tried phoning to complain, never picked up and tried 5 times, obviously know the phone numbers Crap service and advise people to avoid buying second rate food, not the first and can guarantee not the last with the service and bad food produced
I’ve often driven passed The Sandwich Board but never used them until yesterday. I was very pleasantly surprised to find they offer a very good selection of fresh food, made to order, reasonably priced and friendly staff. So pleased I decided to stop for my lunch!! I’ll definitely be using them again. Good to see an independent nailing it!
The food was terrible- the beef chow mein was spicy somehow but still lacked flavour? The egg fried rice was overcooked zero taste and the chips were rock hard and cold very disappointing
Scam!! I ordered from this restaurant on Saturday, after 2 hours waiting and multiple phone calls being told my order was on the way they eventually told me they had never made my food. They asked if I'd like to wait or if they should cancel. I told them to cancel as it had already taken so long. They never cancelled my order and I got charged £25 for food that wasn't even cooked nevermind delivered. Uber eats will not refund me and now I have lost out because of their laziness and lies.
I have attached a copy of my order for proof that I did pay and I did order.
Situated downstairs in the shopping mall food hall, Chopstix is a small outlet with plenty of available seating within the food hall. The woman serving was friendly and polite and showed us the options available. It is very easy to order and there is a limited amount of choice, however what they have seems to be more than adequate. I did not notice any vegetarian options so can’t comment on that.
We chose the vegetable noodles, sweet chilli chicken and teriyaki beef with spring rolls. The food was really delicious and full of flavour.
The shopping mall has the Victoria Place car parks attached and so there is loads of parking available.
We would definitely recommend this eatery and would return if ever in the area
