With so many takeaways cutting costs and quality, it's great to see that Royal Chef hasn't done so. Lovely tasty food, not too greasy and fresh ingredients. Best Chinese in the area for sure.

Got a takeaway tonight ... we akways used to use this takeawdy and it was so disappointing ... under cooked chicken and strange tasting food... never again

We have used this takeaway a number of times with no issues. Yesterday we ordered a delivery for a d pacific time they were 40mins late. The food has changed the noodles were full of cheap veg, carrots & onions, the duck we ordered was full of fat and skin very little meat. The rice was dry and had a weird taste and the prawn crackers were greasy. Such a disappointment we will not be using them again.

The staff here are always lovely, the menu has a great range and good quality tasty food. Delivery or collection is smooth. Thank you :)

Ordered over the phone and it was accurate when I picked it up. They said it would be ready in 15 minutes from order and it was. The hors d'ouvres were filling and tasty and the mains of chicken black bean sauce and special curry were delicious. I used to have a rule that I would only order from restaurants who also did take away, but this is the first take away only that I have broken this rule for. Would recommend.

Always order takeout from here. Fast friendly and good food. I will say as in every takeaway 1 night might let you down but stick with it as we’ve been ordering here some 10 years now and is by far the best delivery around Byfleet

I’ve been ordering food from this place for 4 years. I was surprised to see negative reviews as it’s by far the best Chinese in the area. The food has always been lovely and delivery is always quick!

We called to enquire about gluten options as the menu wasn’t clear. It seems they are also not clear as we were told we could have a dish that was coated with flour as normal flour doesn’t contain gluten... asked to speak to someone who knew a little more about what goes into the food as was told no one knew.... We won’t be calling back or recommending.

We haven't had a takeaway since before Lockdown. Having read some good report see on FB this last week, we thought we would give Royal Chef another try. Last year we had an awful meal from there and haven't returned since. Not sure why we bothered. The food was grim. The special fried rice had one prawn in it. The beef and chicken was slimy and both dishes were tasteless, apart from a liberal sprinkling of salt! And the prawn crackers were greasy. The menu has gone in the bin so we are not tempted again. Word of advice - don't bother, save your money.

Food is always fresh and good quality. Friendly staff. On a few occasions, have had a dry crispy duck, but when advised they rectify it for us.

Always fresh cooked lovley me and my.family.have changed our local to here I've had alot of Chinese in different places and this is very nice there salt and chilli squid and king prawns ginger and spring onion is beautiful

Saw some lady bashing this place as there only review. There food is fantastic, quick service and tasty dunno what she’s on about

Just had the worst Chinese ever mostly good but OMG just had a nightmare! Look at the vegetable spring rolls no vegetables! Complained to no avail guy said they bought them from market? Yes bought them ...jessus Christ where do we live? No wonder brexit! The food is rubbish gone to pot don't go there

Tiny little takeaway, doesn’t look much, but the food was great, thoroughly recommend it. The salt n pepper squid was a winner!!

Our usual takeaway but tonight the food was awful. No taste to the chow mein. Smoked chicken was over cooked and tough. Pancake roll was a big as a tiny spring roll. Won’t be ordering from here again. Time to find a new takeaway 👋🏻
