The best restaurants in Clewer North Windsor and Maidenhead South East

Wow, what a hidden gem! Having read the reviews I thought I would give it a try as we had family over for a visit and we weren’t disappointed. Nicely tucked away, lovely and fresh looking outside and in, staff very friendly and attentive and food was amazing, fresh and tasty. Thank you Boleros for a lovely evening, our Australian family had a great time, as did we. Neil and family

Hot and reasonable value as fish seems mega expensive these days. However, the cod and plaice we had were like minows and the batter far outweighed any fish. Very greasy too.

Delivery driver was lovely and not his fault, but the latte was prepared 30mins before he got there, so it was stone cold

We had never heard of the restaurant before and I only contacted them because I was looking for a private dining experience for a 21st birthday party. While they couldn’t accommodate us in the bar as we were a small group( only 10). They wrote back and offered us a lovely table over looking the marina. From the moment we arrived the team there made our evening so special. The food was delicious and even the picky eater's in the group were pleased. Food all arrived together, the staters were excellent everything tasted fresh and was cooked well. The mains were equally as impressive and the portion sizes were very generous. The free parking and wonderful view was a bonus. Can’t wait to visit again and try the breakfast menu.

First time visit this evening and was really pleased. Service was excellent and very polite. Kingfisher on draught. Food was really good. Naan to die for, light and crispy, had Tandoori chicken, which comes on a ‘sizzler’ hot plate, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Could not fault it and will visit again, If not for the food, just to see the worlds smallest hand dryer in the gents 😉😆

Fast and friendly service. Great quality food, always freshly prepared and good value too, makes this the go to Chinese take away in Windsor.

It is really nice for a casual breakfast. Fast service. Comfy and quiet atmosphere. I’d definitely come back again.

He estado en el Hipódromo de Windsor en muchas ocasiones. He utilizado sus platos para varios eventos corporativos de hospitalidad y familia/ocasiones amigo durante los últimos 9 años y hasta el año pasado en el Castillo de la experiencia de cada restaurante (y las opciones marquee) eran muy buenos, aunque yo no iría tan lejos para decir que eran excelentes.El año pasado, sin embargo, yo estaba demasiado ocupado con trabajo contactar a usted y explicar qué fue una experiencia horrible en junio del año pasado. En primer lugar, su personal no sabía qué te sirve cerveza (o cualquier otro tipo de bebidas para ese asunto), el pan se sirve antes de la cena podría romper uno de los dientes. Tardaron más de media hora para que nos sirvieran la primera ronda de bebidas (dos de nosotros tuvimos el pescado shell y fuente de champagne… Yo t el champán llegó unos 30 minutos después de la fuente). Luego fue aproximadamente la misma cantidad de tiempo después de cada pedido de bebida y el lugar estaba prácticamente vacío y, como tales, no tuve absolutamente ningún ambiente. Su personal dijo que sólo había sido empleada para unos días antes y no teníamos ni idea de lo que estaban haciendo. La experiencia fue tan mala que después en primer lugar quejándose en realidad no podía parar de reírse de cómo atroz mal podría ser por el precio que cobran. Era casi como la última experiencia en pagar por el servicio y la comida terriblemente malo sólo para reír o algún tipo de castigo sádico. Además, el Castillo restaurante, mientras que anteriormente, que ofrece un buen servicio, comida aceptable ha necesitado re-vamp desde que he estado allí. Te decoración mejor en un restaurante barato cadena High Street. Básicamente, no volveré a reservar el Castillo Restaurante o cualquier hospitalidad corporativa en Windsor de nuevo y mi recomendación es que no lo haga a menos que las cosas cambian drásticamente.

It was such a mega busy evening when my daughter bought us our dinner from here. When we got our box meals home we noticed a portion of hot wings were missing. I had also dropped my drink (completely my fault) so needed to buy a drink too. When I went back, the staff couldn't have been more helpful if they tried. They not only replaced the hot wings for me plus 2 extra, they gave me a complimentary diet pepsi on the house, all to apologise for this little mistake. We were very impressed and very grateful and it was a pleasure to be helped by 2 such smiley staff, we will definitely be returning. Thank you for the lovely service with the smiles and for the lovely food.
