The Castle Restaurant at Royal Windsor Racecourse in Windsor and Maidenhead

We thought from the name it was an independent coffee shop, especially as it had 5 stars. It serves Costa coffee and milkshakes, and the food options are all sweet: waffles, cookies, ice cream. Perfect if you have a sweet tooth. We were actually looking for something savoury. We did have Mr Whippy ice creams as the least sweet option. It wasn't great as the ice cream wasn't smooth and creamy. It contained little ice crystals, making it slightly grainy.

My bestie said we are going for afternoon tea for your Christmas present. I was somewhat surprised when we arrived here. Choice of tea blends, lovely tray of foods arrived, glass of prosecco, followed by lovely fresh fruit scone with jam and cream. My only complaint would be that it was freezing cold in there.

Back on track. An excellent take away. Delicious food and friendly service. Will definitely return.

pizza tasted nice vivian and arafa were friendly and had quick service, and the tiramisu was very nice and was a very enjoyable experience

Brilliant family friendly pub been drinking here over 20 years really good for live bands and to play pool 👍
