Have enjoyed a lovely meal, fantastic service and a slightly different twist on the food. Would recommend.

Lovely food, good portions and nice waiter. Some of the dishes were a little spicy, others mild, but all of us guests were very satisfied. Perfect fit for Norwegian palates. 😊 When even the toilet is clean and nice, it's perfect.

We ate the Chutney house this evening and the service is top notch. Friendly staff very welcoming. Thr food is delicious, hot and fresh. Will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Windsor.

Don't go... Waste of money... We had 10 days trip tk london and edinburgh. We ate indian food once daily while we were on trip. One of the worst indian food award goes to them. We ate on August 29th - disgusting veg platter, super spicy veg thali, chole/channa were less than average. I don't even understand how they got 4.4 stars... either people has no sense of indian food or these reviews must be fake and bought.. Next door there is a south indian dosa house, they were way better than this place.

Average food overpriced good service

While travelling for work, I always seek out local dining options to support nearby businesses. This time, I was in the mood for Indian food and was pleased with my choice. The restaurant was quite empty, with only one other family dining there, which was unfortunate given the excellent food and the friendly, professional service I received. My only concerns were that nearly all the dishes I ordered were very hot, and the menu didn’t mention this. Additionally, biryanis typically come with a standard gravy, but it was missing on this occasion. Despite this, I highly recommend this restaurant; in my opinion, it offers great value for the price.

Service was friendly and attentive, food was delicious and nicely presented. Everywhere was clean. We’ll definitely be back!

Is it Indian food that this restaurant is serving? Being an Indian , I'm very much aware of what is Indian cuisine all about. Typical restaurant which is serving some unknown cusine with ingredients used in Indian food and cooked by Bangladeshi chefs. Nothing much to say. I will not go again.

Food is so bland! I love curries it’s my favourite cuisine & this is the worst tasting curry I’ve had. Everything just lacked flavour! Very nice looking restaurant, just a shame about the food

I love my curries, and this place is right up there for just that. Food is excellent, not greasy like most of the Indian restaurants you go to. Service was excellent, and the staff are very polite too. We was never rushed to leave, and the courses came out at a nice slow pace. Will be back again !!

Not your normal curry restaurant with some very interesting dishes. Very tasty

Two adults, a teen and two children. The two kids shared a wrap and an entry. We ordered chicken korma, lamb bhuna and lamb tika massala and saffran rices and plain naans. Advice from the waiter was good. The food was tasty, authentic and enough. There are a lot of items in the menu. This restaurant meets the quality expected for its price.

Great atmosphere, the place seems to be popular located in one of the main streets near Windsor Castle. Our host Ibrahim really did make an effort to make us feel welcome. The food, especially the starters, was of high quality and great taste. Overall experience was very positive. We recommend the Virgin Mojitos. 😊

Abid was a great host to a traveler. Food was excellent. I had the paneer jalfrezi and it was spicy and yum. Loved the 90s music playing.

Food was okay at best but feeling a bit sick after it. The service was bad. There was no one in the restaurant when I came in, I had to call out twice and waited about 2-3 mins. Also had to ask a few times for simple things, ie water. Wouldn’t be back here.

We recently dined at Chutney House for what was meant to be a special occasion meal. Our reservation was for 5 pm, so upon arrival, the restaurant was empty, and therefore, we would have expected better service. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The food was far from authentic Indian cuisine and lacked any seasoning. The butter chicken was raw and chewy, and it was definitely not cooked thoroughly. This was a major disappointment and a health concern. The service was extremely slow and unresponsive. We requested water for the table multiple times, which was never brought out. Additionally, no cutlery or serving spoons were provided despite our repeated requests, forcing us to use teaspoons to serve our food. This level of service is unacceptable. The fizzy drinks we ordered were watered down and flat, forcing us to switch to bottled cokes instead. Overall, Chutney House failed to meet our expectations on every front. The poor service and subpar food made what should have been a special occasion quite disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Indian food or decent service.

Not a great experience - starting with a rather sullen greeting when we entered and ending with a sullen nod in scant appreciation of the tip. Honestly the food wasn’t anything to write home about. The service was terrible - the waiter clearly wasn’t having a great day. Finding out what was gluten free on the menu was just painful. The atmosphere was not optimal with the music looping about every 10 minutes - not to mention a crying child next to us who was placated with a loud video game by the mother - not the restaurants fault I know - but it just robbed the last semblance of a Friday evening meal of anything redeeming. Would I return is always the test for me. Solid no!

The service and ambience of the restaurant were wonderful. However, our family did not feel that the flavor was authentic Indian flavor as we have lived in Asia our whole lives and have eaten very authentic Indian food made by various friends from India. I felt that the dishes had an especially sweet flavor and were not true to the flavors of the spices that should have been used.

Pathetic. The experience was very disappointing. None of the items we ordered were worth the price. We tried several starters and main courses, but not even a single dish met our expectations. The butter chicken tasted like tomato puree with frozen chicken cubes and lacked any spices. Choosing this restaurant for get-together was a complete mistake. It is the top worst restaurant I have visited in London so far.

Perfect. Food is exceptional - refined but robust. However, the furnishing (so comfortable), cutlery and all round ambience make a fantastic dining experience. 100% recommend.

Would highly recommend trying the Salmon Tikka, it tasted absolutely delicious! The menu has a lot of variety including vegetarian options🌱 This restaurant has a stunning interior with a beautiful ambience.The staff are very friendly and welcoming🥰

Bbq mango chicken was delicious. One of the best mojitos I've had. Lamb cooked just right, tender and full of flavor. Appetizers were unique and again lots of good flavors

Really amazing food and super friendly service from Suzon and Abid. We had vegetarians and meat eaters in our party and everyone chose something different and amazing, with the veg platter to share. The dining room is comfortable and lush. We all highly recommend!

Visited for a special birthday with friends. Ordered Chutney House Veg Platter Sharing patter for two - all the items were very dry especial the bhajia and somosa. The mains and the service was also very disappointing. Drinks very limited and no mango lassi. A very dissiaponting experience. Thank you for reply But you can be rest assured the coat was not mine and affected in my review but l have given my review resulting in my experience at your restaurant. I didn't like the food that is my personal opinion and to suggest there is an underlying reason for my review l find quite insulting You should accept reviews that are not to your likeing.

Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants genuine Indian cuisine. We went to this restaurant this evening to celebrate my Uncles birthday. We arrived, all was fine. We ordered two mixed chicken starts for nearly £8 each. When the starter arrived there were three chunks of chicken on each plate with three pieces of spinach. Despite the size the food tasted nice so we didn’t mind. Our mains then arrived, my partner ordered a chicken biriyani and it was mainly rice with four pieces of chicken (which looked the same chicken as the other mains we ordered). I ordered a chicken tikka masala, the chicken was so dry and hard I could barely cut it. I ate one piece of chicken and pushed it to the side, the tikka sauce was so sweet as well. My Uncle ordered a garlic and chilli chicken tikka dish, and his chicken was just like mine. The chicken was cut in a way where you could tell it was frozen chicken previously and there was no chargrilled marks on it - what you’d normally get from chicken within a tikka. The sag aloo was boiled potatoes cut in half with spinach leaves, no flavour or sauce. When we spoke the owner/manager who was not helpful and blamed us for our palate, and that we clearly never eaten an Indian like this.. which he was right we had never had an Indian as bad as this.He was very rude and dismissive and explained other customers were fine with the food they served. We explained we’re happy to pay for the starters and drinks (despite them being ridiculously expensive - but it is in the centre of Windsor so they clearly take advantage of tourists). We also said we would pay 50% of the food, and at this point he ordered one of the members to “remove all the food”. We still ended up paying £84 for drinks, starts and 50% of the mains in which we didn’t eat. I’d recommend to save your money and your palate as the Manager told us and go somewhere else.

Suzon was beyond welcoming and able to make perfect recommendations! Hands down… The food was THE best we’ve had!

Excellent experience, had Avocado Chat which was delicious. Veg Thali (reasonably priced) was full of flavour. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Highly recommend this place.

I had a wonderful meal on Sunday so I came back on Monday. Suzon was my server. He was friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and the portions appropriate. I had garlic chilli chicken and there was plenty of chicken and chilli which made my night. Recommended. Thank you.

Spot on. Food was excellent service good. I was on my own. No fuss just hot and tasty wonderful food. I was only disappointed in the Trip Advisor app which was crap. I had to ask the nearest restaurant and someone showed me it. You won’t be disappointed especially if you’re in the travel lodge. Trip Advisor. Doh!

Extremely rude folks. Especially Manager. Probably another indian restaurant where Indians are not liked. If you dont want to order a main course and just a couple of starters, irrespective of how much food you want to have they will just ask you to get out. Also on another instance ordered a Mardrasi Paneer.. Got some sweet chilli Paneer. Pathetic taste.

Visited on a Saturday night, only another two couples in. Staff were not overly friendly….did their job without a smile! Meal was very overpriced for what we got. One couple (lady) was very foul mouthed as she spoke to her other companions at a table and no staff approached her to remind her other customers could hear her! Overall a lovely restaurant, mediocre food, unfriendly staff would not recommend!
