The best restaurants in Chiddingfold and Dunsfold Waverley South East

Had a fantastic lunch at the Mulberry Tom at the bar who we first met looked after us fantastically I believe John the owner also always looks after us fantastically the food was amazing as always could not recommend it more. Thank you so much for looking after us all the time from Hayley and David. we so look forward to seeing you again soon, thank you.

My wife and I have been here a few times, and it’s never disappointed. Our first Sunday roast here and it was all at its normal high standard! We had the lamb, while my wife had cheesecake to my crumble. The lamb was cooked beautifully and was tender; as I couldn’t have the Yorkshire puddings I got extra potatoes, they were lovely and crunchy. The crumble was really tasty and the ice cream a great counter to hot fruit. Our only slight disappointment was no cider on tap, but my wife managed to get a fruit flavoured bottled cider.

We came across this beautiful pub on our way to Bognor Regis we were having a cheeky weekend away and decided to take the scenic route which was actually a very good call.We were both ready for a refreshing drink and something to eat as well as needing the rest room.We were blown away by the lovely ambience of the place with a nice fire burning and gorgeous leather armchairs so cosy.we were greeted by very welcoming smiley staff the drinks were good and the food amazing we opted for a sharing platter of maze we had not had Lebanese food before so it was a real treat.The outside was beautiful with a lovely beer garden.we definatley be going back again.

After reading the reviews I decided to make a special trip here to take dinner with my wife, we were extremely disappointed with our food but service was good- my starter of burrata with beets was fridge cold and arrived in minutes( interpret that how you wish) my main of pork belly was fatty and tough, this needed longer cooking, wife burger was dry, poor garnish or opaque tomato and iceberg lettuce. Tried the cheese board but too acidic chutney, rubbish crackers and again fridge cold! paying top end for the meal £100+ include 4 x glasses of wine and 1 x appetitive, I felt ripped off!

Interesting that the last review was nearly a year ago and mentioned a relaxed atmosphere . Sadly not the case yesterday. The average age of customers was about 65. It was 10 in the morning. There was a young male behind the counter in his 30s singing along at some points to the music playing which was loud and suitable for a club for young people on a Friday night. It’s a gripe I sadly have to make too often about a cafe, restaurant or pub. In the hospitality industry music has to set the ambience for the time of day and the customers you will get then. The coffee was good.

We had a much needed night away, dinner, breakfast, spa and honestly had such a lovely time. Staff couldn’t do enough for us, food was lovely, views were lovely. Enjoying chilling in the spa for a bit. Would definitely visit again

I like this hotel and it's bar atmosphere but was disappointed with the fish and chips I ate at lunch yesterday. The piece of fish I had was very small and quite tasteless. This dish simply doesn't compare to offers from the many other pubs in Surrey that I visit. They need to greatly improve what they serve.

Great pub with very good food situated in beautiful village. Warm welcome and friendly staff. Full of locals with a pleasant community feel - but not so you’d feel uncomfortable being a relative outsider. Pie Night on Wednesdays is a big attraction and the pies were indeed very good. Lots of rooms inside if you want to be away from the busy area around the bar. Good choice of wines and many of the regulars were enjoying them instead of drinking beer - how things have changed for the better.

My rump steak roast dinner was cooked to perfection, very efficient service! The menu is so vast, will have to come back to try it all.
