The Mulberry in Waverley

Myself and my Wife both had a great meal at the Mulberry Inn last night. Great staff and a beautiful Pub/Restaurant with a roaring fire. Very inventive menu with a Middle eastern theme (mostly Lebanese) although there are also plenty of traditional dishes to choose from for the less adventurous. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again if in the area.

My husband and I went for lunch today. WOW the service, the food, actually everything was outstanding. We will definitely be going back many times.

Great pub. Great food. Awesome pork roasts! Parking gets full on a weekend so car share where possible. Nice treats for anyone with a birthday too.

Popped in for lunch over the weekend whilst on holiday. Well prepared and presented food in a welcoming environment. Staff were attentive without being over fussy. There was a sense of joy amongst all the staff. So rare.

My wife & I stopped here by chance on a long journey. We both had a fantastic lunchtime meal..I had a Lebonese chicken and my wife, the veg. wellington. I have a gluten allergy and although nothing on the menu was marked as gluten free, I was given a number of options by the staff that they could make for me without gluten. Would highly recommend.

Whenever I have the chance I love having lunch at the Mulberry Inn. The food is amazing and the staff customer care service is excellent. Not to mention the lovely location with plenty of car space and a fantastic open area to chill during summer time. I would recommend this lovely place if you are in the area. Tony

So good I ate here twice with my father in two days! We were only staying in the area for 2 nights at a local AirBnB, so glad we discovered The Mulberry on the first evening. This is a country pub with a perfect level of friendly and efficient service & a menu that somehow manages to include Lebanese, beautiful fish dishes and more traditonal pub fare of burgers. It is deservedly popular, with couples, families and groups of friends and also looks welcoming to stop off for just a drink as well, on the bar, on the terrace or in the large garden. Highly recommended.

Food and service excellent, good choice of food and drinks

Had a great family celebration meal at the pub. Food was delicious & different, we live not too far away always worth the drive for a nice meal out. Good service & chilled setting pub wasn’t too loud & very comfy. They welcome dogs & the proprietor was a delightful host who engaged with us & welcomes us back. We’ve been a couple of times & recommend it as a great place to eat.

Wonderful. Inspired menu, our meal was delicious, good vegetarian options. Went with two under 5s, and they were very friendly and have a climbing frame outside.

Lovely place for friends and family. Slightly longer for food than expected but such a nice atmosphere that it was barely noticed. Very nice food.

We had Sunday lunch here. The service was excellent, the food was superb, and it arrived promptly. The Sunday menu had roasts and nut roast but also there was a choice of Lebanese food. We enjoyed it so much that we are coming back next month.

Let start by saying the staff lack customer service rude is an understatement, sorry to say will not be returning!!

Superb meal with family. Excellent service from very friendly team. John is the commensurate host and makes everyone feel like part of his family! The menu is a wide mix of Styles and tastes incorporating a few English pub Classics along the way. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Definitely one to visit but make sure you book a table.

Been to The Mulberry more times than I can remember. Official home of Craig’s Spyder Club. Staff are fantastic. Owner a proper petrol head. Food and drink selection superb.

Excellent. Great Sunday roast but the Lebanese food on the menu also looked amazing. I'll have that next time. Beer selection was also best of any pub in probably a 15-20 mile radius (approximate only).

Outstanding meal last Saturday. The food was excellent and their menu is a bit different. The service was great and very helpful. Happy to adjust any item on the menu to accommodate my wife's dairy intolerance. We only booked the day before so were very fortunate to get a table. Originally warned us it would be a high table with stools but arranged things so that we could have our main course seated at a standard table without disrupting any other guests. We be returning soon!

Let's start by saying the food was excellent. It was brilliantly cooked and the variety on offer meant we were all nicely catered for. We also had one member of our party arriving very late, in fact, just after the kitchen closed. But they were kind enough to wait up to the wire and take the order over the phone for our late person (who, as the person paying was very important!). Their service while we were waiting was top notch; attentive with about being pushy. Highly recommend. Just had food so not rating the rooms.
