The best restaurants in Harwell Vale of White Horse South East

Ordered for collection for the first time yesterday and it did not disappoint one bit!! The staff in the shop were friendly and the food was well cooked, flavoursome and top quality! Highly recommend the teriyaki chicken dish, completely scrumptious :) Will DEFINITELY be back for more!! Thankyou fort woks 🙌🏼ĺ

I regularly buy Costa coffees and use many but this is by far the worst one. Each time I use the drive thru you are waiting 10 minutes!!! This is every time I've used it!

Best MD’s I have ever visited ! So clean and food was actually edible and warmed through. Usually go to Cannock branch and food is ALWAYS stone cold and just slopped and thrown around in the boxes. So well done ! This place is a delight to visit.

Driver insisted on a code before handing over food, never needed one before ☹️ food was cold, had to heat up in the microwave before eating. Chips were dried out by microwave so not at their best. If they want to deliver to the outlying villages they should invest in some heat retaining bags, not just their normal carrier bags.

Good range of products, garden needs and furniture, but neither robot mowers nor jacuzzis. The antiques shop has been replaced by a much larger cafe.

This is a lovely old pub with a probably 1980/90s hotel extension on the side. Friendly reception and waiting staff. Fairly minimalist old school breakfast although my eggs Benedict (oddly with bacon rather than ham) was tasty and well cooked. I didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t really comment. The public rooms are older worlde characterful but the general feel of the bedrooms is dated (stained dark wood, chipped furniture, not enough power points, poorly sealing windows, particularly a problem if you are facing the A34 trunk road). Attempts have been made to update (nice bed throws and a capsule coffee machine in the rooms) but it can’t hide the reality. The place needs investment to gut it and bring up to date. Perfectly usable but not a “destination” or up to international standards.

Went for lunch at this McDonalds today , Best McDonalds we have been to , clean and tidy , very friendly helpful staff , food was as it should . Very Nice

Awful tasting flat white.Lady just slopped the milk in,no finesse or care. Very poor and horrible taste. Costa,sort this branch out.Have your staff properly trained. Ive had enough flat whites at other places to know this was awful.

Thought we might have a quick breakfast so stopped here as ads showed things like croissants, toast etc. Arrived and apparently they had not had a delivery of either croissants or bread. There is an M&S across the road, I think might sell bread. No apology or help offered. Ordered coffee and a small selection of the few things on offer, Was given some items of cutlery which was dirty, when I mentioned it I was told that it was just tainted by the dishwasher until I asked them to touch the end of the knife, which was sticky, don’t think the dishwasher would left it like that. I know you should expect too much of a coffee shop but this was rubbish, put me off Costa for life.

Awful experience never again, they need more staff. People pushing in to get there wild beans absolutely chaotic place.

Visited this morning after the recent refurbishment. Wasn’t disappointed! We ordered a Full English breakfast, and a Potting Shed breakfast (Eggs Benedict with black pudding & bacon) Everything was brought to our table, the waitresses were brilliant … the food was tasty and filling. We will be back 🙂
