The best restaurants in Medway Tonbridge and Malling South East

My work commits to to travel to Restaurants/ Hotels/ Major pub chains. Covering 30 + per week. I recently stayed here at Rose & Crown Tonbridge. Having read other reviews I understand some of the comments posted . However looking at age of building etc. It has its quirky elements. However the staff were polite friendly and very attentive. Alot of other Hotels could learn from this. Also the room I had was spotlessly clean. Minor issues creaking floor boards some staining on quilt itself. Yet all in all for the price of the room. I feel its excellent in value & hospitality. Highly recommended

Had a lovely breakfast - their chips are delicious. Small restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Can also highly recommend their soft serve.

Great place! Amazing pizza and dough balls with garlic butter. Highly recommended.

Very good Beer Selection and excellent service. Crisps without single use plastic and Very Dog Friendly. Highly recommended

Wow, what a total misery the waiter was, we tried hard just to get some kind of smile out of him but it was near impossible. Don't understand, why would you be so uptight when you are serving paying customers, you just felt like you were being a bind sitting there . There is no greeting you sit there and wait .. To be fair the food was nice but that doesn't make up for the terrible service. . No lies there!!!!!!

Fabulous food Fabulous service, so welcoming! Been twice in the last month and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. So nice to find and support independent local restaurants.

A lovely little cafe with the most adorable cats. The staff were super friendly and the hot drinks we had were absolutely delicious. The cats are all clearly very happy and well looked after and a couple came and sat on our laps and interacted with us. A great price for a cute afternoon treat. Would recommend.

Not been for a while, had my usual chicken chilli masala, top draw, by far and away the best Indian food in Tonbridge, will definitely be back soon

Excellent small bar / restaurant serving excellent food ….can recommend the oven roast chicken and the 10 oz ribeye . Friendly service adds to this little gem 👍😎
