A little gem in the high street

Excellent home cooked food from the countries of the former USSR (Ukraine, Lithuania etc, not just Russia!), very well presented. They opened especially for us on a Tuesday because we pre-booked and were more than six people! Some dishes can even be changed to vegetarian versions. All is cooked from scratch, even the cherry cordial is organic and home-made.

Great vibe with tasty food, excellent cocktails and a good selection of wine. Lovely place to chill on a Friday night with live music. They also serve delicious brunches! Wheelchair accessible (through alternate door), although toilets are not, but they are step-free, on the ground floor.

Best local pub in Ramsgate! Matt is an excellent publican. Always a very warm atmosphere with lots of chat and the.off chance for a sing song on the piano.

OMG! Best fish and chips I have had! Fish had a wonderful taste, fries were fresh and thick. Even my sister had trouble staying away from the fries (she normally doesn’t eat potatoes). She ordered steak and kidney pie and said it was like she remembered having growing up. PS we are British Americans, our Mom(British) would make us steak and kidney when we were young.

Rhys, Isabelle and George were very attentive. Food was good, service was quick. Would come again.

What a gorgeous place! The food was so fresh and tasty. The service was brilliant and the location was so lovely. We felt like we were back in Turkey on holiday!

A lovely beautiful place facing Ramsgate harbour. Visited Sunday after, before closing. We were the only guests. It was calm and quiet. Very clean. The only chef and the only waitress, both in their 70ies at least. Both absolutely lovely and caring for their place.

Wow, gluten free cone, vegan ice cream. I was in heaven. It was such a delight to see. I had so many choices. They had a whole display freezer with just vegan ice cream. 8 ice creams to choose from. I had rum and raison and salted caramel.

Great local public house with lovely landlady and awesome landlord and great bar staff. Friendly atmosphere with occasional events like karaoke or fancy dress nights. Regular pool team and darts team. Has nicely kept beer garden and for the colder months a large open fireplace with a roring fire making the bar a cosy family atmosphere. Good selection of largers, bitters, wines, spirits and soft drinks. And a jukebox packed with tunes from the golden oldies to the present day.
