Having recently moved to the area we have tried a number of curry houses. Himalayan restaurant was by far the best of any of them. We really enjoyed the curry, momos, and the other items we ordered. The chapati's were super light and soft. The beers were reasonably priced & it's a nice little restaurant. We are really glad to have found our local for both takeaway and eat in. There are curries on the menu that we haven't tried before, So lots of choice.

I just don't use this wonderful coffee house enough. we visited with the dog last week and was reminded again just how wonderful this local gem 💎 is...And the bonus is its right on our doorstep the coffee and sandwiches always top quality love the atmosphere can't recommend more highly...

We had Christmas dinner the service was great food was mostly fine apart from one starter where the soup was cold and a steak that was medium rare was very rare.

This is a large pub that was renovated a few years back. There are a decent number of car parking spaces out the back along with outdoor seating. There is also a function room at the side of this pub. This is also a dog-friendly establishment. The main seating area is a little dark, with faux old-style lamps in the light fittings. While they have a good range of craft beers that they rotate on a regular basis, the draft lagers seem to stay the same and are a little too niche, and not to everyone's taste, in my opinion (Madri, Asahi, Pravha, etc). I've only eaten a selection of small plates here, which were in line with what one would expect from pub grub. I have to say that the service is very good and the staff are really friendly. The main off-putting factor for me becoming a more regular visitor is that most of the drinks served here are very expensive, being on a par with London prices.

Fabulous family dinner, fitted us in with no problems, excellent service and prices were reasonable.

Food was good but took 2 hours and 5 mins to arrive, it was a large order but post 9 o’clock eating our group wasn’t as hungry so some food went to waste.

Had not realised it was called Pistachios, there we go. Dropped in part way round a longish winter walk but it was closing - closing time didn’t match the published times we found on a website so we were thankful we still got served - in take away cup and sat outside. It was just before 3:30 so still light for another hour so don’t leave your sustenance too late on. Nothing wrong with the take away offering in sustainability sourced recyclable cups. Very nice got chocolate that would put many others to shame. Shame the cafe is closed when I mostly visit - evenings on the 3G pitches. Friendly staff. Would have got 5* had we not been looking forward to a warm sit down and had to make do with a chilly picnic table.
