Absolutely Fantastic! Andy’s Fish Bar is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly smiles and the warm, inviting smell of freshly cooked food. The fish is perfectly battered – light, crispy, and golden – while the chips are just the right balance of fluffy inside and crisp outside. Portion sizes are generous, prices are fair, and the quality is outstanding. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and take real pride in their food. The service is quick, and everything is served piping hot. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Andy’s Fish Bar is a must-visit. Hands down, one of the best traditional fish and chip shops around!

I was too late to have food (last orders before 7.45)so had a beer instead. Very pleasant barman. There was a takaway pizza place a few minutes walk so went there after.

Tiene un almuerzo encantador con mi esposo y un amigo aquí hoy. Espere un poco más después de ordenar, pero eso se debió a que la comida estaba recién hecha a pedido. Las albóndigas, las tortitas de pescado y el sándwich eran muy sabrosos y agradables. Precio muy razonable. Buena copa de vino blanco para acompañar nuestras elecciones. Buen servicio pero tristemente tranquilo. Espero que el negocio se recupere pronto. Gracias.

Sadly, it’s temporarily closed due to a business issue - with a note on the front door. I was pleasantly impressed by the quality of this take away by Dhamaka. I ordered the chicken vindaloo and pilau rice. A very tasty and generous meal it was too. I’m happy to recommend this place for dining in or ordering a take away. It’s easy to find among the row of Bitterne Triangle shops. It has seats for about 40 people in all. Clean, tidy and comfortable seats with basic but tasteful decor. Staff are welcoming and service is provided on time.

Took a mate here for dinner at the start of March, after originally visiting a few years ago shortly after they opened. Absolutely wonderful food, service and atmosphere--easily the best place to eat at the Triangle. Can particularly recommend the crab and pork curries, will be back next time I'm in the city to try something else from the menu. Cheers!
