The best restaurants in Redlands Reading South East

Came here with my Nan today found the staff really friendly, food was top and a nice atmosphere would definitely recommend for a good breakfast/lunch.

Pedimos desde aquí para la fiesta de graduación de mi madre y todos nuestros invitados estaban muy contentos. La comida llegó a tiempo y la cantidad fue muy justa. La calidad fue de primera categoría fue muy deliciosa. Ordenaría nuevamente si tuviera la oportunidad.

De los pasteles a los batidos, quedé impresionado. No es muy caro y sigue siendo un buen lugar para disfrutar de algunas delicias veganas.

Cafe Yolk used to be a favourite spot, especially when Sunny was involved. His passion and attention to detail really set the tone for the place, and it showed in everything from the menu to the service. Since his departure, however, it feels like something important has been lost. The quality of the food has noticeably declined, and the once-friendly atmosphere has become a bit lackluster. It’s disappointing to see a place that had so much potential fall short. Here’s hoping they can recapture the magic that made Cafe Yolk so special in the past!

The food was incredible. The cold starters we had were so fresh and flavourful and the mixed meat sharing platter was so good. The moretti zero was nice too. Friendly and accommodating staff. Good value for money too. We also had some complimentary Turkish tea with our Baklava which was a lovely ending to our fabulous feast.

First visit to The Kitchen. Really impressed with the quality of the food, the range on the menu and level of service. Great to see how well The kitchen is supported- it was full!

An amazing pub. Came here for Sunday lunch and had the sharing platter. Great food and good quality produce. We even had to take the chicken legs home for dinner the next day.

The food was under cooked, over priced, a large chips is 3.5 and a cheesy chips is £5 so why do you get about 20 chips with microwaved cheese on for less food. I honestly wouldn't waste your time going

Not happy. The lady at the counter told me there was none of the special for that day left. So I ordered something else. 40 minutes after I have eaten. I see two boys collect said special of the day. Why lie to me about being out of stock when you aren’t?! So odd… I really wanted to try the special as well :(

Pub was fine, I think some people would like it here but personally I didn't love the drinks selection. When I visited it was weak ales (strongest ABV 3.8%), cider and macro beer.

No poppadoms no draught beer and cash only which we were only told at end of meal so had to go to cash machine to get cash.

Been here a few times; cheap and tasty food, quick service, and kind staff. Highly recommended!

Omg how cold is it in the place. I just got told by staff that the owner does not like putting the heating on, gonna take food home now. Hope the food is OK.....
