Kayi Mezze Grill in Reading

We had tried this restaurant as a couple back in the summer and experienced amazing food and service. This time we took friends for a birthday celebration and were impressed again. Staff friendly and helpful with information about food choices. The place was busy but service quick and amazing food again .

Not the best experience, the waitress dropped half out starter and never replaced it, nothing to soften the noise so really clinky sound so if you have any level of tinnitus you won't be able to hear the conversation on the table, the main course is quite large but the flavour is just the same so bored halfway through the course iy would of been better with lots of small portions like a tapas. So unfortunately not for me as not best service, or atmosphere and food is just ok.

Our go to place for a nice meal whether eat in or takeaway. Food is always a 10/10, staff is always friendly. Can’t go wrong

The food was incredible. The cold starters we had were so fresh and flavourful and the mixed meat sharing platter was so good. The moretti zero was nice too. Friendly and accommodating staff. Good value for money too. We also had some complimentary Turkish tea with our Baklava which was a lovely ending to our fabulous feast.

Beautiful food and beautiful venue.. first time going to Kayi and we throughly enjoyed it! Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was amazing and very fresh! Highly highly recommend

Visited for my birthday dinner, myself and my partner’ s experience was absolutely exceptional. Amazing food, great service and lovely environment. Wonderful evening, some of the best food I’ve ever had; can’t wait to go back. What a find and what a beautiful little place.

Highly recommend a visit. The is delicious and flavoursome. It is authentic Middle Eastern cooking. Great to support a local business.

Loved the lamb kofte main and accompaniments, apart from the sauces. There was just something about the texture, which was the same for the hummus starter.

The ribs was authentically grilled and it was evident in the taste. Can only imagine that the other meat options will also be delicious. Unfortunately alchohol is not served which is a bit of a shame as a nice red wine would have gone down perfectly with the meal.
