We have been here a few times and find this place really good value for money. The food is great and the staff always pleasant. Sitting outdoors is not ideal as it is right by a street where noisy buses and other vehicles constantly pass. But inside is fine.

WOW WOW WOW! I can assure you that this amazing place is a family favourite. This place is perfect for a Greek lunch or dinner, covering all sorts of dishes. The souvlaki is amazing and to die for! The prices aren’t bad as well! The staff are always friendly and they have free lollipops for the little ones! Overall this is an amazing place that I would hope everyone can experience. If you ever thinking about coming to this place, do it! You won’t regret it.

Genuinely can’t fault it! The meat is fantastic every single meat skewer is a fair size, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Nice bread and great sauce! 10/10 from someone who knows his food :)

Great Souvlaki at affordable price!

I appreciate you are not a vegan/vegetarian friendly place, and this is absolutely fine. From a customer perspective, I'd suggest to remove some of the veg options from the menu. I had a pita falafel in the past that was pretty much an empty pita with one little piece of falafel and 2 chips. It was almost the same price as a succulent chicken pita that my friend ordered. Yesterday I had dinner with a friend, we both decided to go for a salad. Her chicken Caesar salad was amazing, with pieces of pita bread in it. I was served a green salad, which was a little nest of iceberg with 2 (yes, 2) olives, 2 slices of cucumber and 4 pieces of tomatoes, definitely NOT worth the price. Why not offering the same quality across the menu, or just realistically remove veg options that can easily put customers off. Thanks.

we came here on a saturday evening and were seated very quickly by the friendly staff. i ordered the halloumi platter and my partner ordered the mixed kebab platter and it was genuinely some of the most delicious food we’ve had in a long time. everything was super fresh and the flavours were perfectly crafted together. honestly a 10/10 experience and we will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family. very reasonably priced too and very good portions.

Just arrived back from Greece and fancied another chicken souvlaki wrap, the only authentic part of my lunch was the music whilst I waited. There was a lack of chicken, the wrap was nice but it was smothered in salad cream which is revolting in itself but that is not authentic and does not belong in the wrap. Will not be visiting again, very disappointed and expensive

Best Greek food in Reading without a doubt every time we go after our uni classes or on weekends it is packed, packed for a reason clearly. Food is unreal gets better every bite, very worth it and workers are always so nice.

The best lil place to eat in Reading!! The staff are lovely, the food is even better! I stayed for 5 nights and I havent been to any other place for my dinners served by the best Dimitris! I've been a few times and sat outside but today I had a Uber delivery. Greek salad and chicken souvlaki in pitta. Very good but I always leave the tasteless chips. Wish they delivered Retsina....

Food was lovely. The baklava and beer were expensive. Baklava was £5.80 and the beer was £6.20 a bottle. We really enjoyed our meal, the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was good as well, very busy Saturday evening. We eat here alot and have always enjoyed the food.

Excellent Greek food at reasonable prices, fairly basic selection of pitas and salads, but ideal for a lunch stop. Great, friendly service. The only downside is enduring the cigarette smoke that constantly comes in through the door vent and the door when it's opened. Doesn't make for a great meal out.

Amazing food, good price and lovely staff

The restaurant kindly accommodated our group of 5. Service was second to none, prompt and friendly. The food was delicious and the portions very generous - in fact I asked to take the remainder of my Skepasti home there was so much! A good choice of Greek beers (Mythos and Alfa) rounded off a truly authentic experience. I would highly recommend this gem in the heart of Reading!

2024/4/24 19:08pm The staff told me that there was no lamb chops left after I payed. So they suggested to replenish other small lamb food to fill the price difference. But they did not put anything in. Furthermore, the meal was also burned. I think this store has no integrity.

Portions are definitely above average, and food tastes excellent (when hot). Definitely try their greek salad and mayo.

Was recommended this restaurant and paid a visit on a Friday night. Every table taken and busy but that didn’t make any difference to the quality of the food or the excellent service. Very impressed and will definitely be returning to sample more of their menu.

It was a good gyros, but not the best I've had. But still good! Want a good gyros? It's a fine place. The person who welcomed us (had the air of a manager) wasn't the most welcoming. Probably because they were expecting a party of 23 who turned up a little later.

Authentic, delicious and reasonably priced food - Little hidden gem in reading town centre!

It was not super delicious, lamp chops was a bit smells heavy and not juicy at all, Greek salad was not served with nice tomatoes and olives, I recommend to try chicken souvlaki instead, and location is perfectly in the city centre.

I have been holidaying in Greece for 50 years and always been disappointed with Greek restaurants in the UK. Despite its small size this is one of the very best I have been to. The food was authentic, the staff were welcoming and they have Retsina and Greek beer! I can't rate it highly enough.

Some of the best food in Reading, if not the very best! I highly recommend the Lamb Chops from the special menu. I've been visiting for years and they never disappoint. After visiting today for the second time in as many days, I promised to leave a much deserved review. I'll be back tomorrow for my free pork wrap! Haha.
